Job description :
- First PMC services contract by Technip in the middle-east that started in January
2014 in Kuwait; role of DCC is very challenging. Monitoring status of FEED
documentation from creation by Discipline Design Engineering to uploading in
Project Document Base Mail box; exporting to Project Document Base, electronic
transmission to Client and internal controlled by document distribution matrix.
Weekly reporting for progress of deliverables review & approval until issue for
design and ready for ITB (released for tender to bidders).

- Supervise team of document controllers in the issue – approval – distribution to
Client, subcontractors and internal to discipline engineering, construction, pre-
commissioning in controlled manner of project drawings and for execution
documentation in accordance with project specifications and procedures.
- Focal point of Client and Rome office in electronic data management of IFC
documentation; transmittal notification (TSI) via Lotus Notes to Client and site
dedicated email address. Download electronic data, print hard copies for Client
and separate sets for subcontractors and internal distribution.
- Ensures outgoing document registers (for subcontractors) are always updated with
relevant documents linked, viewable and printable by discipline supervisors and
engineering team.
- Ensures hard copies of project drawings and Vendor documentation in filing racks
are all current in status, superseded documentation immediately segregated to
avoid accidental release of obsolete information
- Monitor red marked as-builts in process, piping, civil, instrumentation, electrical,
mechanical for handover to Client of final as-builts in soft copy native and pdf

Job description :
- Developed site procedure for Final Construction Quality Dossier handover to Client.
Join weekly meetings with Construction Contractors QC team to highlight correct
preparation of discipline Quality Control forms, submission to Handover team of
copies for SMC database progress reporting and organized keeping of original
QCFs for submission at completion of subcontractor activities. Random visit at
Contractors QC offices to ensure correct compilation of documents for final
dossiers.
- At early stage of the project, was assigned as piping and mechanical equipment test
package coordinator. Developed excel spread sheet and monitor flow of Piping
Test Packages from folder creation, engineering review, QC line checks, Client
punch listing (walk-through), hydro tests, line reinstatement and final close out. The
spread sheets (ISBL & OSBL) include progress statistics for Project Director and
Site Management review of testing progress controlled by system numbering.
- Took over the role of DCC, monitored availability of Vendor documentation (Vendor
Data Books and Quality Control Manufacturing Dossiers), download from AIM when
hard copies are not in DCC filing. At the end of project handed over to Client all
VDB & QCMD, some vendor documents not yet available at site were listed as
punch list item for the contractual release of Handover Certificate.

Job description :
- Monitor subcontractors’ quality documentation submittals i.e. Field Quality Control
Plans, Quality procedures, NDE procedures, Method Statements, Technical Cards,
Clarification requests from date receipt by QC, review/approval by discipline
inspectors, sending these documentation to Client for review/approval, return to
subcontractors through zone secretaries by transmittal for execution/construction
once Client approval is obtained. All these document flow is recorded in Excel
database which include subcontractors transmittal reference, TPC transmittal to
Client, Client review transmittal number and TPC transmittal back to subcontractors
for ease in traceability and current status of each document. There are more than
50 subcontractors involved in DQR project construction and it took more than three
years to finalize and complete the final project dossiers of staggering number of
subcontractors in one project.
- The project of this magnitude and mostly local subcontractors involved, non-
conformances became unavoidable. Client Engineers and TPC issued more than
500 NCRs and surveillance reports including NCRs on Vendor supplied equipment.
Personally maintained originals of all NCRs and initiated numbering sequence of
NCRs to Vendors, numbered them according to Material Requisition/PO number.
Monitored all these in Excel spreadsheet for tracking purposes and prepared weekly
statistics for Site QCM, FEM and Project QCM input. Print out is made available to
Site QCM who disseminates this to Zone CMs for their respective action.
- Supervise local QC staff in maintaining good record of subcontractors Request for
Inspection (RFI). It is worth to emphasize that RFIs are coming from more than 50
subcontractors on daily basis with an average of 1000 RFIs in a week.
Responsibility includes checking that there will be no conflict in the time schedule of
inspection for each discipline inspectors by devising a weekly logbook with slotted
timing of at least one hour interval for each inspection. RFIs are sent to Client twice
a day according to a 24hour advance notice and as per project procedure. Quality
Control Forms (QCF) attached to RFIs, once signed by Client, forwarded to
Handover team for Systems completion documentation.

handover documents are all in Code 3 status (approved for construction without
comments by Client).

Technip Italy Head Office AIM Intergraph online electronic database to extract
engineering drawings and specifications and release any document for construction
to Subcontractors in case hard copies encounter delay while being dispatched to
field. All information released to Subcontractors are “controlled” with red mark
stamp, no extra copy is issued and in case subcontractor require more than 1 copy
there must be official request and specific reason why more than 1 copy is needed.
These red mark stamped documents need to be returned to Technip Document
Control at the end of the project and being logged into the system are returned to
ensure confidentiality of information is maintained. Documents are threaded
immediately with the exception of the A4 size portion where the dwg number,
description and red controlled stamp is visible.
- Was actively involved in the handover of AIM Intergraph online electronic database.
As-built electronic copy drawings are uploaded in AIM system (project construction
drawings and Vendor as-built documentation. The whole AIM System was
accepted as complete by Client.

- Maintain and update all records of project material requisitions/purchase orders
issued to overseas vendors supplying all the process and utilities equipment for
installation into the project. All drawings issued by Vendors are kept maintained
according to MR/PO of their supply.
- Monitor the issue to subcontractors of piping isometric sketches and relevant bill of
materials and ensure that any missing ISO or BOM is requested from the head
office at once, as this will affect the fabrication/construction productivity of the
subcontractor.
- At the instruction of Project Manager, check and monitor mechanical catalogues,
vendor inspection books, operating manuals that are still pending from the
Manufacturer/Vendor while their supplied equipment are already at site and ready
for installation at the project. Progress billing to Client is affected when Client
checked that Mechanical catalogues and operating manuals of equipment already
at site are not yet available to site.
- At the closing stage of the project, final documentations - Plant Operating Manuals,
Vendor Data Books, Inspection Books sent by Rome Head office and Site As-built
documents are delivered to Client and arranged at designated archive room of
Qatar Petroleum.
