I have been employed mainly in the Petrochemical Contracting industry for 37 years, most recently as a
Senior Document Control Supervisor.
I have supervised document control activities on a wide variety of projects, including a Fused Silica Facility in
Holland, a Refinery Project in Yanbu, several BP refineries in Hull and a pharmaceutical facility in Dublin. In
addition to being based in the Home Office, I have also spent periods abroad working in site document control
and in contractor and client offices, most recently performing PMC duties in an integrated client team in a
contractor’s office in Seoul.
I enjoy working as part of a team and thrive under pressure, particularly enjoying the work carried out in
remote locations.

Senior Document Control Supervisor, Chemaweyaat Tacaamol Project (2014 – present)
My current role consists of supervising the document control activities on a PMC project with a client team,
processing documentation issued by the project team and various contractors. Assisting in the bid evaluation
process for EPC contractors
Senior Document control supervisor, KNPC Clean Fuels Project (2013)
Supervising the document control activities of a PMC team working with Samsung SC&T in their Seoul office
on behalf of KNPC. Quality checking and distribution of all Samsung documentation and managing all
correspondence and associated logs.
Senior Document Control Supervisor, Statoil Snohvit FDP (2011 – 2012)
Issuing documents to project personnel. Uploading document files into DocStore and into the Statoil ERoom
system for project review. Preparation of handover packages to client. Set-up of distribution matrix.
Samref 2013 Turnaround Project (2010 – 2011)
Issuing documents to project personnel as per the distribution matrix. Uploading document files into DocStore.
Compiling handover packages to client. Distribution Matrix set-up and maintenance, Maintenance of WebDMS

Woodside Pluto 2/3 LNG FEED (2009 – 2010)
Issue of documents to the project team. Distribution Matrix set-up. Maintenance of WebDMS progress

Ngi Son Refinery Petrochemical (NSRP) Pre-FEED & FEED (2008 – 2009)
Responsible for the set-up and supervision of Document Control activities including initialising WebDMS to
meet FEED requirements. Bulk loading of deliverable details in the system. Produced reports for management
use. Issued hard copy and electronic ITB and FEED packages for handover to client. Handover comprised
144 volumes with 13 copies of each required for hard copy handover plus corresponding PDF copies.
Malaysian Refinery Company PSR2 Revamp EPCm (2007 – 2008)
Responsible for the setting up of systems, operation of both WebDMS Design and Vendor documentation
systems input and output of planning/scheduling data, day to day running of this project. Input of progress
data and extraction of reports.
SHARQ U&O 3rd Expansion Project (2005 – 2007)
Responsible for the start-up and supervision of this project, dealing with all day to day issues of documents to
client and site. Worked long hours to meet all deadlines during the project. In addition to working as Project

document control supervisor on this project, I worked evenings as client document controller doing onward
distribution to the client team.
TAKEDA API Plant Project (2002 – 2005)
Responsible for the start-up and supervision of this project, involving much use of electronic data transfers
and close liaison with the clients’ representatives, IHI. Compiled end of project documentation comprising over
300 volumes and successfully closed out project.
Amec Foster Wheeler Energy Limited - 1989 – 2002 (Highlights)
Responsible for setting up and supervising document control teams on various projects including CHEVRON
EGTL Project (2001 – 2002), BP Amoco Geel Paraxylenes Project(1999-2001), BP Amoco VAM & ETAC
Project (1997-1999), GE Silicones Fused Silica Facility (1995-1997) Samref (Yanbu) AES Turnaround Project
(1993-1995).
Was assigned to the new Foster Wheeler Sriracha office in 1993 to assist with support to site and to train local
document control personnel. In 1991-1992, I was loaned to ADNOC as a document control specialist tasked
with consolidating that companies procedures, assisting in developing a new document management system
and onward implementation across various ongoing ADNOC projects and training staff. Liased closely with
ADNOC Projects division management to ensure development was in line with client aims and philosophies.
Over this period made visits to various sites and spent a year in Geel, Belgium in a site document control
supervisor role

BP Chemicals, A5 Project, Hull (1988-1989)
Senior Document Controller
Tasked with taking over the running of the document handling group from the managing contractor Davy
McKee and setting up a new centre at a management office in Hull. This involved all services such as
telephones, printers, office equipment and organising document control staff and outside printing services.
The centre provided a complete technical back up to the site including the receipt and issue of all vendor and
design documentation, the setting up of a record retrieval system and the compilation and handover of
dossiers to site.
UK Construction LTD, BP Southern North Sea Project, Easington (1987-1988)
Planning Assistant
Duties included production of S Curves and four week lookaheads, monitoring of progress and collation of
figures for productivity rates. Later joined the test department where I marked up P&ID’s to show the extent of
hydro testing.
British Gas PLC, Rough Storage Project, Stallinborough (1986-1987)
Document Controller
Responsible for the registration and distribution of vendor documentation and for maintaining document
registers and issuing weekly status reports. Liason with engineers and vendors.
Fairey Construction LTD, Torness Power Station, East Lothian (1985)
Technical Clerk
Responsible for producing inspection check sheets on core build contract. Final check of erection pckages
prior to quality audit by clients representative, National Nuclear Corporation Ltd.
Laing IE&C LTD, Rough Storage Onshore Terminal, Easington (1983-1985)
Senior Technical Clerk
Employed in QA Department on piping/mechanical contract. Responsible for producing weld inspection record
sheets and for the coordination of all PWHT and radiography. Also responsible for final documentation check
before handover of packages to client.

Responsible for setting up and maintaining a site office documentation system providing a complete service to
site personnel. At a later stage I was responsible for handing over all piping, mechanical and NDT records to
the client.
