Initial Response: My initial response to the concert was of much surprise. First, when I walked in I
didn t expect to see such a formal event. Thank goodness I showed up in my work clothes! My initial
reaction to the music however was one of great surprise. I didn t really know what to expect from the
Lee s Summit Symphony because honestly I didn t even know they existed. Once the symphony began
to play Don Giovanni my mood instantly changed. The symphony was incredible, and the music was
not what I had expected at all. I was surprised by how much of the music I had actually heard before
and just not realized it.

The drums really become a part of the fourth section and they make it seem as if the tempo changes
drastically because they play in between the beats. The dynamics are very similar to the tempo in this

Moore s Law was first predicted in 1965 and hence adjusted in 1975 by Gordon Moore; and, it was
popularized by Carver Mead after the adjustment in 1975. In Moore s first law, it state a hypothesis
that that the number of transistor in a dense integrated circuit doubles approximately every two years.
The Moore s second law express which can be described as the economic side of Moore s Law
expresses that the cost of production of semiconductor fab would increase at a steady rate. In brief,
both of the Moore s Laws express the idea that the transistors in the integrated circuit will be doubled
every two years while the cost of the production will be halved at the same rate of doubling.
The Moore s Law was not such accurate from 1965 to 1975. At that time, the time for doubling is
about 12 months when the hypothesis was first in 1965. However, it decreased to about 18 24 months
in the last ten years.Therefore, many people thought the hypothesis was wrong. Even after the
adjustment of Moore s law, the questions still exist. Many people believed that development of

The industrialization of cities, such as Berlin, greatly increased the price of living for the working
class. Because of this, children who were a cheap source of labor, were often times expected to work
daily for meager earnings. This process is exhibited in the engraving titled Orphan Girls and Boys in a
Welfare Institution. The images are set in Germany in 1846 and display orphaned girls working in a
sewing factory and boys working in a textile factory. This depiction of boys and girls speaks volumes
about gender roles when it comes to social standing and job opportunities. In addition, these images
show a very idealized version of child labor and industrialization and argue that children should be a
source of cheap labor to reduce the cost of production and be separated based on sex. Many other

Many musicians wrote songs about doing drugs such as cocaine in the 1980 s. In Greasy Lake , the
narrator describes himself and his friends as dangerous characters, wearing torn up leather jackets,
slouched around with toothpicks in our mouths, sniffing glue and ether, and what somebody said was
cocaine (Boyle, 1981). These events are accurate to the time period, which shaped the characters and
events in Greasy Lake . A noteworthy theme of Strange Case of Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde is the natural
duality of human beings. Dr. Jekyll is in a constant struggle to conceal Mr. Hyde from the world
because he considers him to be indecent and capable of evil. Throughout the novella we are lead to
believe that Mr. Hyde is some sort of deranged killer who has fled London after murdering a man. It
isn t until the final chapter that the reader learns from a note from Dr. Jekyll that Mr. Hyde is a persona
of Jekyll. Jekyll claims that he allowed himself to become Hyde when he felt unacceptable impulses.
This allowed him to act, free of morals, and later return to being the respectable Dr. Jekyll. This
arrangement didn t hurt his reputation, and satisfied his darker half. Therefore, he would drink a self
created potion to become Hyde whenever he wanted to. Dr. Jekyll clearly had two personalities that
