The Transition Of Gender Roles In Melanesian Societies
A life cycle is the series of changes that enables the capacity of growth and functional activity finally
preceding death. Human life stages are highly patterned through a rite of passage , life trajectories are
punctuated by particular types of institutions, rituals and ceremonies (Van Gennep A et al 1972). Life
is about transition, rites of passage is a way to think about how these transitions connect people in a
social context to one another and co ordinate trajectories. It is assumed that these transitions are
natural due to culture (i.e. in a western society an 18th/21st birthday is assumed a significant
celebration as it is the transition from adolescence to adulthood) but these are not natural processors,
they are cultural. From generation to generation humans have mapped nature into particular forms that
generalise biological maturation into a ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
In Melanesian societies, gender roles have a different meaning to the Trobriand people, in their
society, the names mother and father does not necessarily mean male and female. It can be anyone
who stands in relationship to that person as a mother/father (Malinowski B et al 1972). The
relationship of mother s brothers and their nieces and nephews are treated with great familiarity, they
laugh, joke and provide food where as father s sister have the opposite relationship. In these societies,
biological fathers in contrast are very severe, strict authoritative figures (Radcliffe Brown AR et al
1935). Fathers, are treated as a source of wealth (cattle) as well as your rights in land and are believed
to have no role in human reproduction, they believe sexual intercourse did not result in conception but
instead paves the way for the entry of spirits which was the enlivening force that created a new human
being (Malinowski et al

Hyperkalaemia And Depolariization Of Potassium
Potassium is a necessary intracellular ion, found in each cell membrane, playing a vital role in the
normal functioning of nerve and muscle cells. It is crucial for proper fluid balance in the body by
countering the effect of sodium and creates an electrical charge across the cell membrane. This is
important as it allows nerves to conduct electrical impulses to communicate between muscles and
cells to contract. A majority is found inside muscle tissue, and the balance between sodium and
potassium ions is crucial to maintain an electrical gradient which works to transport substances in/out
the cell and transmit nerve signals which consequently trigger muscle contractions.
When this balance is disrupted, the functioning of muscles is drastically affected.
An excess amount of potassium can be ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
Typically, the kidneys can maintain blood potassium within a health range, excreting extra when
necessary. But when one cannot efficiently eliminate excess potassium, hyperkalemia occurs.
Hyperkalaemia can result in depolarization of membrane potentials of nerve and muscle cells, due to
the increased equilibrium potential of potassium. This impairs the normal process of depolarization;
the depolarization of the membrane potentials opens several voltage gated sodium channels; however
it elevates the inactivation process. Depolarization is slowed due to the concentration changes, which
means an action potential is not generated; the process of accommodation occurs instead. This is when
nerve cells adjusts slowly to a slowly increasing stimulus so that its threshold of excitation of greater

Why Soldiers Don T Talk Randall Jarrell Analysis
World War II was the worst war in history and impacted most countries in some way. This was a war
between the Axis Powers and Allied Powers. The Axis Powers consisted of Germany, Italy and Japan
while the Allied Powers was made up of Britain, Soviet Union, France and the United States. World
War II started in 1939 and ended in 1945. It was the bloodiest war and killed approximately 70 million
people. We were not only at war but United States was going through the Great Depression. The Great
Depression was economical nightmare for Americans. Money became very scarce and families were
struggling to survive. The Serviceman s Readjustment Act was implemented to help those soldiers
who returned home from the war. Why Soldiers Don t Talk by John Steinbeck and The Death of the
Ball Turret and Gunner by Randall Jarrell both looked at how war impact soldiers and how they deal
with life after war. ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
In his writing he expresses that every part of a soldiers is affected by war, the eardrums are tortured by
blast and the eyes ache from the constant hammering. The mental and physical stress of war causes
soldiers not to talk. The internal torture of remembering and talking about those events are too much
to bear. As a result, soldiers try to internalize the issue and often suffer from Post Stress Disorder. He
is saying soldiers should be treated as humans and not mindless objects that the government just
throws away. As a result of the fighting, many soldiers were classified as crazy when they came home.

Manager Role in Implementing Change There are successful ways to implement changes in many
different organization and all employees need to understand how the changes will benefit them and
how it will affect their work daily. Managers within an organization that are seeking change need to
bring the idea to their employees or management team to receive etiquette feedback. In this paper I
will discuss Managers role and responsibility how manager successfully handle change. Managers

6. Enlightenment. In Phase 6, people completely accept the new change. In fact, many wonder how
they ever managed the old way. Overall, they feel good about the change and accept it as the status
quo from here forward. (Garrison Wynn, 2005) With these different phases that is why it is hard to tell
or determine how long changes will take to implement. If employees were not aware that any changes
were required then reaction of employee may be, why change if change is not working or that the
change was a waste of time. Mangers should be ready for the resistance to any change, prepare for it,
and make special efforts to assess and deal with individual reactions to change. A manager or a person
in leadership must develop a proper attitude toward the resistance of change that their employee may
have. Looking at the thoughts that many may have and carefully listen to their concerns is something
that managers must do to help with the resistance of the change. Engaging many with the change
should be done after fully understanding the concerns of others. The best way to minimize resistance
to change is to involve those who is responsible for the change and those who are affected by it.
Consulting employees from the areas affected first hand and not leaving in the dark is another method
of handling resistance. With involving those who are affected a test run of the new changes could help
iron out the problem areas, get

Gender Stereotypes Of Alyssa In The Film
In addition, Holden scrutinizes Alyssa when he learns that she has been with men in the past although
she is currently with and loyal to Holden. He discovers her promiscuous actions, having sex with
many partners, men and women alike. The two argue outside a hockey rink, during the scene the
camera quickly changes to focus on Holden or Alyssa, depending on who is speaking and the camera
shakes slightly. Instead of only focusing on one character, it focuses on both, not putting Holden s or
Alyssa s argument above the other. Also, the lighting in this scene is dark, as it is during the night,
only a purple glow coming from the hockey rink. The lighting is mainly shown on Alyssa, creating a
sense of sadness around her, as she is also on the verge ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
While feminism has come a long ways in today s society, there are still many subtle details that
showcase how women are still oppressed in a patriarchal system. Even women, like Alyssa, that are
confident in themselves can still be influenced by others and change their minds, not always staying
consistent. Men tend to want what they can t have, and winning over someone s sexuality could be
seen as an achievement and a boost to their ego. They want the reassurance and the desire to feel
dominant and assert themselves. By controlling women s sexuality, especially those who deviate from
the norm can fulfill that desire. Throughout the film these ideas can be found and can be found in our
everyday lives, women and specifically lesbians are controlled and oppressed. Even if the film was
intended to be progressive, it is to an extent, but it is outweighed by the traditional views carried

Cell Phones As A Moderator For The Relationship Between...
Cell phone dependency as a moderator for the relationship between passive cell phone interaction and
situation awareness INTRODUCTION Klauer et al. (2014) found a positive correlation between the
use of cellular phones (hands free or handheld) and the rate of traffic accidents and distraction. These
mobile phones, which are now capable of not only answering calls, but are also capable of playing
games, text messaging, browsing the internet, etc. are now attainable for a vast number of individuals.
According to the Cellular Telephone Industries Association (CTIA; 2015), there were over 377 million
U.S. mobile phone subscriptions by the end of 2015. With the increased availability and technological
abilities of mobile phones, has come the ability of individuals to stay connected to their device and
social networks throughout the entirety of the day. When used during leisure, mobile phones can be
quite useful; however, when mobile phones are used during cognitively demanding situations (e.g.,
driving) there can be many negative results stemming from distraction. Even with myriad data
showing the potential negative effects of phone interaction (e.g., Klauer, Dingus, Neale, Sudweeks,
Ramsey, 2006; Strayer William, 2001; Klauer, et al., 2014), many users still choose to use their phone
while driving. In fact, according to a 2011 study conducted by the Centers for Disease Control, 33% of
U.S. drivers reported using their mobile phone while driving at least once during the

Speech On Safety Of Students And Teachers
The Safety of Students and Teachers All around the world thousands of people are dying from selfless
acts of terrorists along with misunderstood children taking their lives along with the people around
them in their school. In one school police took 20 minutes to show up to the scene, why not have this
be stopped sooner? What can we do about this situation to make it better? Armed guards should be
placed in all schools around the world. First off, school shootings and threats are becoming more and
more common in schools around the world. Many children and teachers are being shot, many dying
and others with very serious injuries when they have done nothing wrong. Wayne LaPierre from U.S.
News states The only thing that stops a bad guy with a gun is a good guy with a gun. I find this
statement true because most people that have a gun and see a police officer with a gun will get rid of
theirs because they fear the outcome. Secondly, the armed guards are only told to use their weapons in
situations like school shootings. Some parents and other citizens are fearing that the armed guards are
using their weapons to threaten the students and scare them. Mo Canady, Executive director of the
National Association of school resource officers stated We re not talking about officers walking
around with this strapped on all day long, but certainly to have reasonable access to defend against a
really bad situation This quote proves that officers aren t using the weapons

Life in Colonial America
During colonial times life would not have been anything like it is today. They would not have a cell
phone, computer or a global positioning system. The family would wake up to begin their day with
chores depending on their sex, location, age and, the families social class. Families were large for
various reasons help on the farm, most children died before the age of five. Childbirth was extremely
dangerous for women of the day. Doctors did not deliver infants. That job belonged to midwives.
Today women would have an epidural for pain. Back then woman would bite a stick or follow the old
wives tales such as placing a knife under the bed to cut the pain. After the birth, depending on the
family s wealth, they would feast to help the mother regain her strength. The mother would rest for
three to four weeks before returning to her duties as a wife and mother. Someone from a lower social
standing would only rest two or three days at most before returning to her daily work. The infant
would be dressed in swaddling gowns then later in dresses. Infants and toddlers would wear dresses
and long gowns until the age of five regardless of their sex. At the age of five, girls would begin
learning how to cook and sew among other household chores. Boys would also begin chores,
following their father and other men s example around the farm. If they came from a wealthy family,
then a tutor would teach the child. Females who were highly educated had a difficult time

Digital Literacy And The Public Education
Discussion Post #4
How important is digital literacy considered to be in our current public education? How important do
you think digital literacy is?
The American Library Association defines digital literacy as the ability to use information and
communication technologies to find, evaluate, create, and communicate information, requiring both
cognitive and technical skills. This definition is important to the discussion of the digital divide,
defined by Morse (2004) as inequitable use of computer technology (p. 268). We learned from our
readings that the divide between lower SES students and their wealthier counterparts in terms of first,
access to technology (hardware, software, broadband Internet) and second, what Banister and Fischer
(2010) called the opportunity for use (p. 3). With increased government funding over the past two
decades, schools have seen access to technology improve. Warschauer and Matuchniak (2011)
explained the significance of the federal government s e Rate program, which has provided a
whopping $2 billion per year for broadband and Internet access for schools (p. 188). Yet the softer
costs, such as technical support staff, and which are not funded by the federal government mean that
even when the infrastructure and actual hardware and software are present, teachers and students may
be unable to access them. The interesting divide is also largely based on SocioEconomic Status: the
opportunity for use of technology. The expectations for

How Did You Use Horizontal Integration
Social Studies MP4 Project on John D. Rockefeller
Q: What was your early childhood like?
A: Well, to start off, I was born in Richford, New York. Later as a kid when I was fourteen years old, I
moved with my family to Cleveland, Ohio. I began some small business ventures when I was sixteen.
My first real office job was an assistant bookkeeper with Hewitt and Turtle. Then, at age 20, I worked
as a commission merchant in hay, meats and other goods with a business partner.
Q: What was the start of your oil career life like?
A: I established the Standard Oil Company of Ohio in June 1870. Soon, my company was one of the
most profitable ones in Ohio. After a while, I decided to turn away from my other jobs and give all my

It was not a process that happened overnight and it took lots of effort. As we got more successful, we
started buying out our competition. This is one of the main ways we created a monopoly. We were
even so prosperous, that our enemies, Pratt and Rodgers realized there was no point competing against
us, and proposed a secret deal with us to be acquired into our company.
Q: Why did you use horizontal integration?
A: Horizontal integration was one of the main ways that I succeeded. One of the ways that I used
horizontal integration was to buy railroads to ship my oil to where it needed to go for more money and
profit. I also bought out my opponents for more money and less competition. This is how I started my
monopoly.
Q: Can you tell us about your habit of giving away dimes?
A: Well, haha, later in my life I started carrying around a bag of dimes, and I gave one away to every
person I met. I loved seeing children get the brand new coin with the happiness on their faces. I
always told them that they should not spend it and put it towards their savings. In my whole life, I
gave away about $300,000 worth of dimes. This means that I gave around 300,000 different people
dimes in my whole life. So if I gave a dime to twenty different people a day, it would have taken me

Theme Of Protecting The Environment In Carl Hiaasen s Scat
As Theodore Roosevelt once said, Here is your country. Cherish these natural wonders, cherish the
natural resources, cherish the history and romance as a sacred heritage, for your children and your
children s children. Do not let selfish men or greedy interests skin your country of its beauty, its riches
or its romance. This quote about protecting the environment is just as important now as it was when it
was said, over a century ago. The quote also can be connected to the theme stories teach us about life,
presented by Lisa Cron, in her novel Wired for Story: The Writer s Guide to Using Brain Science to

It is illegal because they are trying to drill in private property owned and protected by the Florida

antagonists, Red Diamond Energy Corporation, does not seem to care about endangered panthers or
committing felonies. Red Diamond Energy is an oil drilling corporation located in the Florida
Everglades. The company is headed by Drake McBride, who is trying to prove to his rich dad that he
can own a business. He is as slippery as a fish when it comes to doing something wrong. His project
manager, Jimmy Lee Bayliss, a rural Texas man at heart got lured in by Drake McBride, who
promised him big bucks. Though Bayliss had faith in the sketchy operation in the beginning, he is now
doubting McBride s plan. They are illegally drilling on property owned by the Florida government just
to get money, which is the conflict of the story. The property is owned and controlled by the Florida
government because it is a natural habitat for endangered Florida

The Problem Of The Cloud Environment
Migrating from any host technology into college technology can be a very cumbersome process filled
with many problems. The first problem that will be identified will be the issue of the migration as will
we utilize a disaster recovery type migration or will there be a replication. In addition to this migration
there is also the event of users and how information will be relayed from one location to another
location. When it comes to the migration aspect of the information there are many things that need to
be taken into account such as load balancing redundancy and security controls. The cloud environment
needs to be supportive of these aspects and there should be a dictation of how information is going to
be flowing throughout the environment. VPNS are utilized to their fullest within our infrastructure so
encryption is very important as firewalls are inside of our Network segregating out VLAN of VLAN
transactions as well as domain to domain transactions. Additional problem that will prove to be easy to
understand and evolve it is software and Licensing. As this is one aspect that can be overlooked from
various people however software needs to be addressed as we might decide to move to a different
software infrastructure but keeping the same infrastructure will be easy to maintain. Applications as
well as operating systems need to be addressed when it comes to this process as well. Within the cloud
the option arises that users are able to work from home but this option will

Love in the Time of Cholera by Gabriel Márquez delivers a tale of love set in Colombia in a time
amidst disease and civil war. The symptoms of lovesickness are described as the same as cholera, and
the conflict of the war mirrors the quarrels of love. The conflicted love tale begins with Fermina Daza
and Florentino Ariza experiencing young love. The two exchanged letters, filled with passion by
Florentino, yet their relationship was forbidden. Yet when Dr. Juvenal Urbino was determined to
marry Fermina, her father and even members of the church approved. Advocates of Urbino s advances

Even when Fermina Daza had rejected Florentino Ariza in a lightning flash of maturity , her maturity
like lightning was momentary and fleeting (Márquez 203). The ephemeral nature of her maturity
stems from her inability to control her emotions. When she feels guilty she is overwhelmed by the
sensation. Fermina panics when she is plagued by the phantom of guilt and her inability to process her
emotions is highlighted (Márquez 204). Her lack of control over her emotions makes her child like,
but her need for validation reveals her immaturity. Whenever a mistake occurred like a child Fermina
Daza would immediately try to shift blame from herself and onto the nearest scapegoat. Her
immaturity caused a dire need to never be seen as at fault. Like a child she was not concerned with
who was responsible or with convincing herself of her own innocence: she was satisfied at having
established it (Márquez 205). Yet her innocence is a fault. Since she required others to reassure her of

Paternity In Galapagos Hawks
Researchers acknowledge Galapagos hawks actually have a cooperative breeding system, with the
dominant breeding male and one or more nonbreeding helpers. DNA is to figure out that Galapagos

Polyatomic Molecules Research Paper
Pure substances can be broken into elements and compounds. Elements can be broken into atomic or
molecular and compound can be broken into molecular or ionic.
Elements can be classified as either atomic element or molecular element. Atomic elements exist in
nature as single atoms, where as, molecular Element do not normally exist as single atoms. Molecular
elements exists as molecules.
There re two types molecular molecules, diatomic or polyatomic. Most commonly molecular elements
exist as diatomic molecules meaning they consist of two atoms. An example of Diatomic molecules
would be hydrogen H2 or Oxegen O2. Secondly, polyatomic molecules consist of many atoms, more
than two. An example of a polyatomic molecule would be sulfur which exist as S8. Polyatomic
molecules are not common.
Content can be classified as either molecular for ionic. Molecular compounds are usually composed of
highly directional covalently bonded nonmetals. As discussed in 3.2 a covalent bond is a chemical
bond in which a non metal bonds with another nonmetal and it transfers it s electron to the other. With
that being said molecular compounds are formed by nonmetals. therefor an example would be water,

compound. So the formula unit is like the empirical formula, which gives only the relative number of

It has been suggested that Simon is a Christ figure in the novel. Describe some of his qualities and
actions which justify such a comparison.
In the novel, The Lord of the Flies written by William Golding, there are a series of characters that
represent different themes, figures, and ideas. Some characters, for example, show leadership,
wisdom, a desire for power, gullibility, and Christ likeness. These roles are equally as important for
the setup and flow of the novel, but one represents love, sacrifice, and a Christ like idealism more than
the others. Although his age is never identified, Simon is depicted as one of the more mature boys and
seems to be the only one who remains in a constant and civilized mindset throughout his time on the
island. Simon has an innate goodness and represents a constant moral behavior. His ability to be a
light to the other boys along with his ability to recognize that the beast and evil dwells more so in
them than on the actual island, is very important in the novels storyline. The first major event that
really stands out as a representation to Simon s Christ likeness is when Jack brings back the first pig
for the boys to eat. Jack is the hunter in the group and the most evil character of the boys. Even though
he provides food, his desire for power and the re occurring events of his evil actions show his
downfall from civilization. Upon Jack s return with meat, he gives all the

The social dimension of PTSD can be explained by poor social support during childhood and
adulthood. The most important factor would most likely be the lack of support after a traumatic
incident (Sue, Sue, Sue, and Sue, 2014, p.125). For example, if James Ryan came back from World
War II and was abandoned by his mother, it would hit him pretty hard. Not only did he face traumatic
experiences on the battlefield, but coming home to see that his mom had left him all alone would be
devastating. Being isolated and not having any support from his family could result in higher chances
of developing PTSD. The etiology of how PTSD has been uncover, the following will be various

All Quiet On The Western Front Dehumanization Quotes
Dehumanization is the process of depriving people of human qualities (dictionary.com). In the book
Night by Elie Wiesel, it s based on an experience from one of the Holocaust survivors of how him and
his family, and how he was deprived of all his rights as a person in concentration camps in Auschwitz,
Germany. In the excerpt All Quiet on the Western Front by Erich Maria Remarque is based on an
experience from a soldier in Germany during WW1, and how he felt forgotten after fighting in the war
not important to anyone.
The novel Night by Elie Wiesel is a real life experience about a young boy and his family of how they
had to embark on a journey of being tortured for their religion. In the novel, he wonders if god is there
to help him. One boy was sentenced to death, he was hung by an SS Officer and Wiesel heard Where
is merciful God, where is he? (Wiesel 64) . This quote is an example of dehumanization because the
young boy was killed and people are wondering where is god, will he be there to help us? This is
important because he wants to know if there is someone who will have his back and keep him alive
through these rough times in his life.He knew ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
Remarque addresses his memories that don t matter to him because he saw things that left him weary,
broken, burnt out, rootless, and without hope. We will not be able to find our way home anymore
(Remarque 6) . This quote is important because he talks about his feelings and how he felt after
everything. Remarque said, I am a soldier, I must cling to that (Remarque 8). Knowing that he fought
and survived is all he needs to feel important and not forgotten to himself or people who forgot about
him. While signing up for the war thinking he would be honored he hasn t felt like he should be
honored for fighting and saving their

Fate Versus the Will of Juno Essays
Virgil is considered the most renowned Latin poet, according to the work Divine Intervention,
Supremacy of Fate in The Aeneid. He is the writer of the epic poem The Aeneid. Virgil s epic is a
continuation of Homer s The Iliad. The Aeneid is very much like The Iliad. In The Iliad, the men and
gods are a driving power of the Trojan War, as are the men and gods a driving power of Aeneas s
journey in The Aeneid, but there is a stronger power driving Aeneas on his journey. It is the same
power to which the characters of The Iliad are subject, and that is the power of fate. In The Aeneid the
men and gods draw the battle lines. Some want Aeneas to succeed on his journey to Latium. Others
want him to fail. Still other characters are just on the ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
Jupiter says to Venus, Relieve yourself of fear, my lady of Cythera...the fate of your children stands
unchanged, I swear... and that On [the Romans] I set no limits, space or time...I have granted them
power, empire without end (qtd. in Divine 2). So the god of the gods has spoken that fate will prevail (
Divine 2). Jupiter represents fate and Juno is the antagonist, comments Woodworth (115). Jupiter s and
Fate s will are the same. Continuing throughout the epic poem Jupiter will help to insure that Aeneas
fulfills his destiny (Woodson 115).
According to Divine Intervention, Supremacy of Fate in The Aeneid , Aeneas s mother Venus loves
her son as much as Juno hates him (2). Venus struggles to keep Juno from harming Aeneas . Venus
worries that the Trojans will not be accepted at the city of Carthage. Before Aeneas arrives at
Carthage, Venus sends the god of love, Cupid, into the city. Cupid is told to use his gifts to make Dido,
Queen of Carthage, fall madly in love with Aeneas. The plan works very well. Juno sees Dido s love
for Aeneas as opportunity to delay his journey to Italy ( Divine 2). According to Virgil, one day while
Dido and Aeneas are hunting in the forest, Juno summons a storm (101). Dido and Aeneas take cover
in a cave. They both sleep together while in the cave. Dido considers this a marriage (Virgil 102). Juno
now hopes Aeneas will not leave Carthage. By not leaving, Aeneas will not

Gold In Beowulf
The Role of Treasure in Beowulf
Brave and ruthless Beowulf, the protagonist of this Anglo Saxon poem, proves himself a hero time
and time again by eliminating any threat of danger to his people. Because of his success in defeating
Grendel, he is rewarded with treasures by Hrothgar, and eventually takes the throne and rules for fifty
years. The concept of treasure is used many times Beowulf, the reader is exposed to the use of it for
diverse reasons. On one hand, treasure and gold is used as a reward, a symbol of status and honor.
Contrarily, the treasure can also be hoarded, cursed, deemed as evil , and ultimately becomes the
underlying reason behind Beowulf s death. As the poem progresses, the view one might have
regarding treasure is subject ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
The fame that comes with the receiving of gold is a feeling which drives Beowulf back for more. This
type of phenomena happens in modern society as well. We are accustomed to seeing celebrities not
being able to handle the consequences of fame. In some cases they are so inclined to gaining more and
more fame that sometimes they can lose sight of things which may go wrong. The misapplication of
treasure is portrayed through the death of Beowulf. Despite Hrothgar s speech to Beowulf, in which he
addresses the dangers of success and fame, Beowulf is driven by his will to defeat Grendel s mother
and acquire the treasure which she has been guarding. O flower of warriors, beware of that trap.
Choose, dear Beowulf, the better part, eternal rewards. Do not give way to pride. For a brief while
your strength is in bloom but it fades quickly; and soon there will follow illness or the sword to lay
you low, or a sudden fire or surge of water or jabbing blade or javelin from the air or repellent age.

A Report On The Show Stoppers
In light of the facts provided the show stoppers that stem to mind are in relation to the dismissal of the
underwriter from the syndicate; depth of analyst research; low expense ratio; and timing. Ordinarily,
where an underwriter is involved in a public or private offering the importance of undertaking a proper
due diligence is paramount as it provides a complete defense, against a strict liability, under section 11
and 12 of the Securities Act 1933.
There isn t enough time to ensure enough is done to establish due diligence defence, and as for the low
expense ratio in comparison to the industry this would be the primary show stopper, in conjunction
with the timing of dismissal of the other underwriter, and heightened liability exposure risk section 11
and 12 of the Securities Act 1933. Summarily, where the low expense ratio red flag is concerned the
court in WorldCom (discussed further below) mentioned that a jury would entitled to find the
discrepancy sufficient to have a triggered a duty to investigate the reliability of the figures underlying
the ratio, notwithstanding that those figures had been audited. It would not be foreseeable for the
client to undertake this process within the 72 hours available, and avail itself of the due diligence
defense.
Further Analysis: due diligence
Given that the issuer is a WKSi, there is a heightened due diligence risk where the offering is a shelf
registration. The SEC did not intend that Rule 176 alter the fundamental nature

The Is Losing Her Mind
Megan was losing her mind. The fact that she had discovered the existence of a whole world that hid
right before her eyes shied in comparison to what actually occupied her every thought. Mark. Mark
was killed and eaten. And she had shared food and bed with an animal of the same kind that killed her
boyfriend. Her fiancé!!!! He was going to be her fiancé. Now, he s probably somewhere howling at
the moon as Sam Cowell had suggested. Let him. She cried herself to sleep. This time Cookie came to
her aid, but she was little comfort in front of this. Aidan didn t try to call her once. She had dialed his

saw that the balcony door was open, although it was quite chilly outside. His worst nightmare just
came true. He knew exactly where to look for Megan. I m just hoping I m not too late thought Aidan
and rushed to a small place he knew very well right outside the city.
Aidan knew better than to rush into a vampire lair unassisted, but there was no time for carefully laid
out plans now. He was preparing for this raid for the two weeks he has been away from Megan, and he
knew the entries and exists. That s all he needs now to get inland get her out safely, anything else is to
be dealt with later.
Aidan got to the big warehouse situated deep into that deserted neighborhood in 20 minutes. Although
the building is quite big, it s impossible to spot anything is going on inside. Vampires made sure their
lair remains hidden from everyone, but always in plain sight, where they could have access to food
and play in minutes.
Aidan quickly proceeded with the first part of his old plan. He emptied a bag of blood making a noise
at a close enough distance from the lair, and waited, hidden. When the door opened, he snuck in, only
to be faced with a gang of smiling vampires. Hello. We have been expecting you, Doggie, said one of
them.
Aidan instinctively growled at the gang, who stood there giggling. Their colleagues who have been

The Perils Of Indifference By Elie Wiesel
April 12, 1999 marked the Seventh Millennium Evening at the White House and the 54th year after
Franklin Roosevelt s death. Years after personally experiencing the horrors of the Holocaust and
World War II, Elie Wiesel shared his story with America among the President and First lady, Hillary
Clinton, to inspire the world to act upon social and political injustices. In his speech The Perils of
Indifference , Wiesel opened up about his past and how it made him realize how important it is to
stand up against crimes against humanity. He also discussed the state of the American people and
compared their involvement in foreign intervention back to the lack of intervention in World War II.
Wiesel motivated America with his emphasis on the emotional, logical, and ethical impacts of
indifference. Perhaps the most influential piece of Wiesel s speech was his inclusion of unique
personal narrative. His touching story of his youth spent in a concentration camp gave weight to his
points on indifference as he recalled that Fifty four years ago to the day, a young Jewish boy from a
small town in the Carpathian Mountains woke up...in a place of eternal infamy called Buchenwald
(Wiesel). With no property to their name and no individual rights, they marched to Buchenwald where
his father later died before they could both escape ( Wiesel, Elie ). The reality of these past horrors
gave him a strong sense of credibility as he spoke on about the time when he was oppressed and
victimized.

Analysis Of The Poem Next To Of Course God America I
Next to of course god America i by Edward Estlin Cummings implies the patriotism of the United
States by a patriot with war supporting attitude. However, with the poem having a patriotic view, it
also has a sarcastic outlook, which is caused by blind patriotism. The blind patriotism is seen
throughout the poem in several lines. In the beginning of the poem, the patriotic narrator talks about
how strongly he feels about America. In first two lines from the poem, next to of course god america i
love you land of the pilgrims and so forth oh depicts the narrators love for God as well as America.

Persuasive Essay On Women And Leisure
Women and Leisure Since the beginning of time, men and women have been categorized differently
and given their own set of expectations and constraints. Still to this day, the differences among
genders are labeled throughout society, and especially for women, this creates a drawback in the hope
for equality. There has been increasing improvements in the last 100 years for men and women to gain
identical rights and treatment, although this does not mean things are perfect in the least bit. Women
have been given an identity and when they step away from the norm, negative reactions make it
apparent of how society feels women ought to conduct themselves. Planted roles within genders are
seem to be taught as early as possible, giving guidance to children on how to behave and what is
normal for their sex. Toys are often decided for them, as well as sports interests and clothing.
Whenever a child ventures into the opposite sex s territory, it is often viewed as embarrassing or
unacceptable. This unfortunately can lead a child to mask their true interests and curiosities, which
potentially can bottle up over the years and result negatively. Women have been directed this way
from their childhood, up until their retirement, being told what they are suppose to do and what they
aren t. The different stages throughout their lives, come with their own expectations. Things like
marriage, children, particular job fields, certain hobbies, etc. are all traditions that women are expected

the business model to ensure that the proper human capital components are put in place to drive
business value. * Culture The values and beliefs at all levels and in all departments must be aligned,

Leo Tolstoy View On Art
Leo Tolstoy Theory on art Лев Николаевич Толстой or known in English as Leo Tolstoy, was a
famous Russian writer who is also known as one of the greatest authors of all time. Leo Tolstoy was a
self confident man and was sure of his rightness. However, this self confidence may have caused him
involuntarily, to feel envious. Tolstoy rejected many philosophical views since he was an outspoken
sectarian (philosophical or political group or a form of bigotry, intolerance towards those who hold
different opinions from themselves). Anything that could not be rationally explained, he did not
accept. Tolstoy s theory is that Art begins when a man, with the purpose of communicating to other
people a feeling he once experienced, calls it up again within himself and expresses it by certain
external signs . In Leo Tolstoy s theory, he tries to explain that just because art may look beautiful, it
doesn t mean that it holds any valuable lessons. Of course, there are many counter arguments to this
theory but I will try to look at this in a different perspective. Most of the people of the upper classes
(popes and clerics) in Tolstoy s time did not in fact believe in anything. Because the way the church
taught everyone caused these people to stop believing, this may have influenced Tolstoy s Theory.
Once seeing its inconsistency , sectarians such as Helchitsky, Francis of Assisi and Plato, were not
able to acknowledge the moral and social teaching of Christ, because a belief like that

  • 2. The Transition Of Gender Roles In Melanesian Societies A life cycle is the series of changes that enables the capacity of growth and functional activity finally preceding death. Human life stages are highly patterned through a rite of passage , life trajectories are punctuated by particular types of institutions, rituals and ceremonies (Van Gennep A et al 1972). Life is about transition, rites of passage is a way to think about how these transitions connect people in a social context to one another and co ordinate trajectories. It is assumed that these transitions are natural due to culture (i.e. in a western society an 18th/21st birthday is assumed a significant celebration as it is the transition from adolescence to adulthood) but these are not natural processors, they are cultural. From generation to generation humans have mapped nature into particular forms that generalise biological maturation into a ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... In Melanesian societies, gender roles have a different meaning to the Trobriand people, in their society, the names mother and father does not necessarily mean male and female. It can be anyone who stands in relationship to that person as a mother/father (Malinowski B et al 1972). The relationship of mother s brothers and their nieces and nephews are treated with great familiarity, they laugh, joke and provide food where as father s sister have the opposite relationship. In these societies, biological fathers in contrast are very severe, strict authoritative figures (Radcliffe Brown AR et al 1935). Fathers, are treated as a source of wealth (cattle) as well as your rights in land and are believed to have no role in human reproduction, they believe sexual intercourse did not result in conception but instead paves the way for the entry of spirits which was the enlivening force that created a new human being (Malinowski et al ... • 3. Hyperkalaemia And Depolariization Of Potassium Potassium is a necessary intracellular ion, found in each cell membrane, playing a vital role in the normal functioning of nerve and muscle cells. It is crucial for proper fluid balance in the body by countering the effect of sodium and creates an electrical charge across the cell membrane. This is important as it allows nerves to conduct electrical impulses to communicate between muscles and cells to contract. A majority is found inside muscle tissue, and the balance between sodium and potassium ions is crucial to maintain an electrical gradient which works to transport substances in/out the cell and transmit nerve signals which consequently trigger muscle contractions. When this balance is disrupted, the functioning of muscles is drastically affected. An excess amount of potassium can be ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... Typically, the kidneys can maintain blood potassium within a health range, excreting extra when necessary. But when one cannot efficiently eliminate excess potassium, hyperkalemia occurs. Hyperkalaemia can result in depolarization of membrane potentials of nerve and muscle cells, due to the increased equilibrium potential of potassium. This impairs the normal process of depolarization; the depolarization of the membrane potentials opens several voltage gated sodium channels; however it elevates the inactivation process. Depolarization is slowed due to the concentration changes, which means an action potential is not generated; the process of accommodation occurs instead. This is when nerve cells adjusts slowly to a slowly increasing stimulus so that its threshold of excitation of greater than it would be were the stimulus ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...
  • 4. Why Soldiers Don T Talk Randall Jarrell Analysis World War II was the worst war in history and impacted most countries in some way. This was a war between the Axis Powers and Allied Powers. The Axis Powers consisted of Germany, Italy and Japan while the Allied Powers was made up of Britain, Soviet Union, France and the United States. World War II started in 1939 and ended in 1945. It was the bloodiest war and killed approximately 70 million people. We were not only at war but United States was going through the Great Depression. The Great Depression was economical nightmare for Americans. Money became very scarce and families were struggling to survive. The Serviceman s Readjustment Act was implemented to help those soldiers who returned home from the war. Why Soldiers Don t Talk by John Steinbeck and The Death of the Ball Turret and Gunner by Randall Jarrell both looked at how war impact soldiers and how they deal with life after war. ... In his writing he expresses that every part of a soldiers is affected by war, the eardrums are tortured by blast and the eyes ache from the constant hammering. The mental and physical stress of war causes soldiers not to talk. The internal torture of remembering and talking about those events are too much to bear. As a result, soldiers try to internalize the issue and often suffer from Post Stress Disorder. He is saying soldiers should be treated as humans and not mindless objects that the government just throws away. Managers within an organization that are seeking change need to bring the idea to their employees or management team to receive etiquette feedback. In Phase 6, people completely accept the new change. In fact, many wonder how they ever managed the old way. Overall, they feel good about the change and accept it as the status quo from here forward. (Garrison Wynn, 2005) With these different phases that is why it is hard to tell or determine how long changes will take to implement. If employees were not aware that any changes were required then reaction of employee may be, why change if change is not working or that the change was a waste of time. Mangers should be ready for the resistance to any change, prepare for it, and make special efforts to assess and deal with individual reactions to change. A manager or a person in leadership must develop a proper attitude toward the resistance of change that their employee may have. Looking at the thoughts that many may have and carefully listen to their concerns is something that managers must do to help with the resistance of the change. Engaging many with the change should be done after fully understanding the concerns of others. The best way to minimize resistance to change is to involve those who is responsible for the change and those who are affected by it. Consulting employees from the areas affected first hand and not leaving in the dark is another method of handling resistance. With involving those who are affected a test run of the new changes could help iron out the problem areas, get ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...

He discovers her promiscuous actions, having sex with many partners, men and women alike. The two argue outside a hockey rink, during the scene the camera quickly changes to focus on Holden or Alyssa, depending on who is speaking and the camera shakes slightly. Instead of only focusing on one character, it focuses on both, not putting Holden s or Alyssa s argument above the other. Also, the lighting in this scene is dark, as it is during the night, only a purple glow coming from the hockey rink. The lighting is mainly shown on Alyssa, creating a sense of sadness around her, as she is also on the verge ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... While feminism has come a long ways in today s society, there are still many subtle details that showcase how women are still oppressed in a patriarchal system. Even women, like Alyssa, that are confident in themselves can still be influenced by others and change their minds, not always staying consistent. Men tend to want what they can t have, and winning over someone s sexuality could be seen as an achievement and a boost to their ego. They want the reassurance and the desire to feel dominant and assert themselves. By controlling women s sexuality, especially those who deviate from the norm can fulfill that desire. Throughout the film these ideas can be found and can be found in our everyday lives, women and specifically lesbians are controlled and oppressed. • 7. Cell Phones As A Moderator For The Relationship Between... Cell phone dependency as a moderator for the relationship between passive cell phone interaction and situation awareness INTRODUCTION Klauer et al. (2014) found a positive correlation between the use of cellular phones (hands free or handheld) and the rate of traffic accidents and distraction. These mobile phones, which are now capable of not only answering calls, but are also capable of playing games, text messaging, browsing the internet, etc. are now attainable for a vast number of individuals. According to the Cellular Telephone Industries Association (CTIA; 2015), there were over 377 million U.S. mobile phone subscriptions by the end of 2015. With the increased availability and technological abilities of mobile phones, has come the ability of individuals to stay connected to their device and social networks throughout the entirety of the day. When used during leisure, mobile phones can be quite useful; however, when mobile phones are used during cognitively demanding situations (e.g., driving) there can be many negative results stemming from distraction. Even with myriad data showing the potential negative effects of phone interaction (e.g., Klauer, Dingus, Neale, Sudweeks, Ramsey, 2006; Strayer William, 2001; Klauer, et al., 2014), many users still choose to use their phone while driving. In fact, according to a 2011 study conducted by the Centers for Disease Control, 33% of U.S. drivers reported using their mobile phone while driving at least once during the ... • 8. Speech On Safety Of Students And Teachers The Safety of Students and Teachers All around the world thousands of people are dying from selfless acts of terrorists along with misunderstood children taking their lives along with the people around them in their school. In one school police took 20 minutes to show up to the scene, why not have this be stopped sooner? What can we do about this situation to make it better? Armed guards should be placed in all schools around the world. First off, school shootings and threats are becoming more and more common in schools around the world. Many children and teachers are being shot, many dying and others with very serious injuries when they have done nothing wrong. Wayne LaPierre from U.S. News states The only thing that stops a bad guy with a gun is a good guy with a gun. I find this statement true because most people that have a gun and see a police officer with a gun will get rid of theirs because they fear the outcome. Secondly, the armed guards are only told to use their weapons in situations like school shootings. Some parents and other citizens are fearing that the armed guards are using their weapons to threaten the students and scare them. Mo Canady, Executive director of the National Association of school resource officers stated We re not talking about officers walking around with this strapped on all day long, but certainly to have reasonable access to defend against a really bad situation This quote proves that officers aren t using the weapons ... The family would wake up to begin their day with chores depending on their sex, location, age and, the families social class. Families were large for various reasons help on the farm, most children died before the age of five. Childbirth was extremely dangerous for women of the day. Doctors did not deliver infants. That job belonged to midwives. Today women would have an epidural for pain. Back then woman would bite a stick or follow the old wives tales such as placing a knife under the bed to cut the pain. After the birth, depending on the family s wealth, they would feast to help the mother regain her strength. The mother would rest for three to four weeks before returning to her duties as a wife and mother. Someone from a lower social standing would only rest two or three days at most before returning to her daily work. The infant would be dressed in swaddling gowns then later in dresses. Infants and toddlers would wear dresses and long gowns until the age of five regardless of their sex. At the age of five, girls would begin learning how to cook and sew among other household chores. Boys would also begin chores, following their father and other men s example around the farm. If they came from a wealthy family, then a tutor would teach the child. • 10. Digital Literacy And The Public Education Discussion Post #4 How important is digital literacy considered to be in our current public education? How important do you think digital literacy is? The American Library Association defines digital literacy as the ability to use information and communication technologies to find, evaluate, create, and communicate information, requiring both cognitive and technical skills. This definition is important to the discussion of the digital divide, defined by Morse (2004) as inequitable use of computer technology (p. 268). We learned from our readings that the divide between lower SES students and their wealthier counterparts in terms of first, access to technology (hardware, software, broadband Internet) and second, what Banister and Fischer (2010) called the opportunity for use (p. 3). With increased government funding over the past two decades, schools have seen access to technology improve. Warschauer and Matuchniak (2011) explained the significance of the federal government s e Rate program, which has provided a whopping $2 billion per year for broadband and Internet access for schools (p. 188). Yet the softer costs, such as technical support staff, and which are not funded by the federal government mean that even when the infrastructure and actual hardware and software are present, teachers and students may be unable to access them. The interesting divide is also largely based on SocioEconomic Status: the opportunity for use of technology. The expectations for ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...
  • 11. How Did You Use Horizontal Integration Social Studies MP4 Project on John D. Rockefeller Q: What was your early childhood like? A: Well, to start off, I was born in Richford, New York. Later as a kid when I was fourteen years old, I moved with my family to Cleveland, Ohio. I began some small business ventures when I was sixteen. My first real office job was an assistant bookkeeper with Hewitt and Turtle. Then, at age 20, I worked as a commission merchant in hay, meats and other goods with a business partner. Q: What was the start of your oil career life like? A: I established the Standard Oil Company of Ohio in June 1870. Soon, my company was one of the most profitable ones in Ohio. It was not a process that happened overnight and it took lots of effort. As we got more successful, we started buying out our competition. This is one of the main ways we created a monopoly. We were even so prosperous, that our enemies, Pratt and Rodgers realized there was no point competing against us, and proposed a secret deal with us to be acquired into our company. Q: Why did you use horizontal integration? A: Horizontal integration was one of the main ways that I succeeded. One of the ways that I used horizontal integration was to buy railroads to ship my oil to where it needed to go for more money and profit. I also bought out my opponents for more money and less competition. This is how I started my monopoly. Q: Can you tell us about your habit of giving away dimes? A: Well, haha, later in my life I started carrying around a bag of dimes, and I gave one away to every person I met. I loved seeing children get the brand new coin with the happiness on their faces. I always told them that they should not spend it and put it towards their savings. In my whole life, I gave away about $300,000 worth of dimes. This means that I gave around 300,000 different people dimes in my whole life. So if I gave a dime to twenty different people a day, it would have taken me 50 ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...

The first problem that will be identified will be the issue of the migration as will we utilize a disaster recovery type migration or will there be a replication. In addition to this migration there is also the event of users and how information will be relayed from one location to another location. When it comes to the migration aspect of the information there are many things that need to be taken into account such as load balancing redundancy and security controls. The cloud environment needs to be supportive of these aspects and there should be a dictation of how information is going to be flowing throughout the environment. VPNS are utilized to their fullest within our infrastructure so encryption is very important as firewalls are inside of our Network segregating out VLAN of VLAN transactions as well as domain to domain transactions. Additional problem that will prove to be easy to understand and evolve it is software and Licensing. As this is one aspect that can be overlooked from various people however software needs to be addressed as we might decide to move to a different software infrastructure but keeping the same infrastructure will be easy to maintain. Applications as well as operating systems need to be addressed when it comes to this process as well. Within the cloud the option arises that users are able to work from home but this option will ... Describe some of his qualities and actions which justify such a comparison. In the novel, The Lord of the Flies written by William Golding, there are a series of characters that represent different themes, figures, and ideas. Some characters, for example, show leadership, wisdom, a desire for power, gullibility, and Christ likeness. These roles are equally as important for the setup and flow of the novel, but one represents love, sacrifice, and a Christ like idealism more than the others. Although his age is never identified, Simon is depicted as one of the more mature boys and seems to be the only one who remains in a constant and civilized mindset throughout his time on the island. A Report On The Show Stoppers In light of the facts provided the show stoppers that stem to mind are in relation to the dismissal of the underwriter from the syndicate; depth of analyst research; low expense ratio; and timing. Ordinarily, where an underwriter is involved in a public or private offering the importance of undertaking a proper due diligence is paramount as it provides a complete defense, against a strict liability, under section 11 and 12 of the Securities Act 1933. There isn t enough time to ensure enough is done to establish due diligence defence, and as for the low expense ratio in comparison to the industry this would be the primary show stopper, in conjunction with the timing of dismissal of the other underwriter, and heightened liability exposure risk section 11 and 12 of the Securities Act 1933. Years after personally experiencing the horrors of the Holocaust and World War II, Elie Wiesel shared his story with America among the President and First lady, Hillary Clinton, to inspire the world to act upon social and political injustices. In his speech The Perils of Indifference , Wiesel opened up about his past and how it made him realize how important it is to stand up against crimes against humanity. He also discussed the state of the American people and compared their involvement in foreign intervention back to the lack of intervention in World War II. Wiesel motivated America with his emphasis on the emotional, logical, and ethical impacts of indifference. Perhaps the most influential piece of Wiesel s speech was his inclusion of unique personal narrative. His touching story of his youth spent in a concentration camp gave weight to his points on indifference as he recalled that Fifty four years ago to the day, a young Jewish boy from a small town in the Carpathian Mountains woke up...in a place of eternal infamy called Buchenwald (Wiesel). Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...  It is a recent but common myth among some people is that food in Great Britain is poor tasting and ill prepared. While there were many influences that contributed to the decline of food in the U.K. during the 20th century, there has since been a rebirth of English cuisine, due to the decrease of mass scale production of food that lead to an increase in quality, the rise of television cooking shows that led to a greater awareness of quality cooking among the working class, and the fusion of cuisine from continental Europe and beyond. • 32. Crime Scene Reconstruction Essay Introduction Crime scene reconstruction is the process of determining or eliminating the events and actions that occurred at the crime scene through analysis of the crime scene pattern, the location and position of the physical evidence, and the laboratory examination of the physical evidence.1 Reconstruction not only involves scientific scene analysis, interpretation of the scene pattern evidence and laboratory examination of physical evidence, but also involves mathematics which is playing such an increasingly important role in crime scene investigations. Mathematics can helping forensic scientists work out a range of problems including the trajectories of bullets, fingerprint recognition and the speed of moving vehicles, that an understanding ... If the ground level is set at y = 0 then we simply need to add the fall height, h, to give the relationship between the height above the ground y and horizontal distance travelled x: y = h + (tan θ )x − gx22u2cos2θ Typical trajectories, corresponding to accident and suicide, are given below. These have been calculated by assuming θ = 0◦, u = 1 ms−1, in the accident case and θ = 35◦, u = 3ms−1, in the suicide case. It can be seen here that the impact distance for suicide is over twice that for accident a result supported by experimental data including an allowance for variation in the launching conditions.7 Trajectory for an accidental fall compared with that of a ... Comparison Between Ancient And China Identification and Evaluation of Sources For this project, the following investigation will attempt to answer the question, What are the similarities and differences in the roles of geography in ancient Japan and ancient China? This question is very relevant because it s important to know the differences in cultures and to know as much about them as possible; especially with cultures as similar as Japan and Chinas , it s important to show the differences. It will be showing how geography can affect two cultures in ancient times. The times that will be the main focus of the research will be from 1600 BCE to 600 CE and will be center on the geography and how the geography can affect the people in Japan and China. Using mostly books and websites will make this investigation a reality. The origin Japan: A Global Studies Handbook is a book written by Lucien Ellington in 2002 in California. The publishing date of 2002 makes it a reliable source because it is somewhat modern so the information is pretty updated which makes it more reliable. It was published by ABC CLIO. This book is a secondary source. It was published in Santa Barbara, California and manufactured in the United States. Although it may not be written in Japan, where the book is based upon, and it said it is catalogued by the Library of Congress Cataloging in Publication Data. • 34. Leo Tolstoy View On Art Leo Tolstoy Theory on art Лев Николаевич Толстой or known in English as Leo Tolstoy, was a famous Russian writer who is also known as one of the greatest authors of all time. Leo Tolstoy was a self confident man and was sure of his rightness. However, this self confidence may have caused him involuntarily, to feel envious. Tolstoy rejected many philosophical views since he was an outspoken sectarian (philosophical or political group or a form of bigotry, intolerance towards those who hold different opinions from themselves). Anything that could not be rationally explained, he did not accept. Tolstoy s theory is that Art begins when a man, with the purpose of communicating to other people a feeling he once experienced, calls it up again within himself and expresses it by certain external signs . In Leo Tolstoy s theory, he tries to explain that just because art may look beautiful, it doesn t mean that it holds any valuable lessons. Of course, there are many counter arguments to this theory but I will try to look at this in a different perspective. Most of the people of the upper classes (popes and clerics) in Tolstoy s time did not in fact believe in anything. Because the way the church taught everyone caused these people to stop believing, this may have influenced Tolstoy s Theory. Once seeing its inconsistency , sectarians such as Helchitsky, Francis of Assisi and Plato, were not able to acknowledge the moral and social teaching of Christ, because a belief like that ...
