This document discusses the development of an accelerometer-based digital pen designed for handwritten digit and gesture trajectory recognition, integrating a triaxial accelerometer, microcontroller, and Zigbee wireless transmission. The system allows for human-computer interaction, enabling users to write digits or make gestures which are wirelessly transmitted to a computer for recognition. The proposed technology is portable, eliminating the need for external reference devices, and includes a trajectory recognition algorithm to accurately reconstruct movement trajectories.
