ABSTRACT: In this paper,we design a Multi-platforms intelligent system for flatness detection of rail welding headbased on thedevelopment environment of Android software .The system uses a STM32 chip as control core, a handheld smart terminal or personal computer as the carrier. The datas transmitted to intelligent terminal or computer through the bluetooth communication technology are processed rapidly, the data curve is drawed and the flatness characteristic parameters of the measured rail welding head is identified. The system provides a friendly intuitive monitoring and operation interface, has the characteristics of fast, reliable, energy saving, high accuracy, etc.

system. The data collection terminal is studied and designed, including hardware design based on
embedded system and software design. Finally, presents implmentation and results. The monitoring
system can improve the integrity, reliability, flexibility and intellectuality of monitoring system. The system
with modular structure, which is low-cost, fitter and easier to move and operate, can be expanded
according to practical need and is reliable and effective through field test.

In a distributed computer control system in which remote stations are interconnected by a communications link, the remote stations take turns having supervisory control over the communications link. Each remote is numbered in sequence in a predetermined succession order and takes its turn having control of the communications link in accordance with this succession order. When a remote station has completed its turn of having supervisory control, it transmits a first control message over the communications link. The next remote station in the succession order then takes control over the communication link by transmitting a second control message over the communications link. Each remote station has two variable timers which are set in response to said first control message and said second control message, respectively, and have time out intervals depending upon the offset of the receiving remote station from the remote station which transmitted the control message. If and when any of these variable timers times out in a given remote station, then that remote station will assume control of the communications link by transmitting the second control message on the communications link.

ABSTRACT: As an important equipment of high voltage switch cabinet distribution plays a key role in the power system of power generation, transmission and distribution of electricity, and monitoring the operation of electrical parameters, based on virtual instrument technology, make full use of the data processing, data analysis, data expression and network function and other advantages, build a set based on the LabVIEW real-time power quality monitoring system innovatively applied in high-voltage switch cabinet. Through building a power quality monitoring platform based on high voltage switchgear in the laboratory, the accuracy of the system measurement is verified. The experimental results show that the design of power quality real-time monitoring system has good performance, high accuracy, friendly interface, and has a good market prospect.

The digital pen consists of a triaxial accelerometer, a microcontroller, and an Zigbee wireless transmission module for sensing and collecting accelerations of handwriting and gesture trajectories. with this project we can do human computer interaction. Users can utilize this pen to write digits or make hand gestures, and the accelerations of hand motions calculated by the accelerometer are wirelessly transmitted to a computer for online trajectory recognition. So, by varying the position of mems (micro electro mechanical systems) we can capable to show the alphabetical characters in the PC. Injection Analysis of Hera And Betano New Power Plants At the Interconnection...IJRESJOURNAL
ABSTRACT: Electricity system in Timor Leste is supplied from small scale Diesel Power Plants (DPP) which are distributed at each district that not interconnected, as the consequences, electric continuity at some districts are disturbed so caused power outage. To overcome the matters, the steps taken by Timor Leste government by establishing 2 units of centered DPP with total capacity of 250 MW at Dili District of 120 MW and at BetanoDistrict of 130 MW. The new power plant will be injected at the electricity system of Timor Leste through transmission line of 150 kV. The new power plant injection will cause the power flow and system stability of Timor Leste entirely. Steady state analysis done including the power flow analysis before and after injection of DPP of Hera and Betano so can be seen the voltage profile change and the decrease of electric power losses. Beside the steady state analysis, also done the power system stability analysis to know whether the system can operate normally after short circuit disturbance of three phases before and after new DPP injection. The steady state analysis showed that the system voltage condition before injection of DPP of Hera and Betano experience decrease of -13% from the sending voltage, and the active power losses of 6.8%. After DPP of Hera and Betano injection the decrease only -6% and active power losses can be minimized become 5.3%. The results of power system stability showed the rotor angle stability, frequency and voltage stability during disturbance occurrence become more stable after injection with recovery time faster if compared with before injection of new power plant.

ABSTRACT:The increased demand for electricity and the depletion of fossil energy sources are a challenge to exploit new and renewable energy sources. Relatively cheap renewable energy sources are Wind Power Plant (WPP) and Photovoltaic System (PV). Currently, many small scale generating plants are being evolved into conventional systems known as Embedded Generation (EG). EG as a source of electricity in the distribution system will affect the flow of system power, system reliability, voltage profile and others. Besides, with the placement of converter technology in WPP and PV system will give contribution of harmonic enhancement to the system. This paper presents the harmonic analysis of WPP and PV designs that are injected into conventional distribution system in one bus at Pujon feeder station Malang, Indonesia. The bus is chosen because in this area the need for electric power in the area is very high and the existing system has a harmonic value of 11%. Hybrid Active Filter (HAF) is designed to lower the voltage harmonics due to EG injection into existing systems without affecting harmonics in other buses. To analyze the harmonics in this study there are 4 scenarios offered: Scenario 1 starts with analysis on existing system, scenario 2 existing in WPP 2 MVA injection, scenario 3, injection1.3 MVA PV, scenario 4 injected EG (WPP and PV). The simulation result using PSCAD 4.5 shows in scenario 4 to generate harmonic voltage of 18.6% and after added with HAF, the harmonic value of the voltage becomes 2.434%

The head of affairs position replacement is often occurred in this agency, but the positions currently have a large number of incompetence person in charge. Subjection inthe election process leads to the inaccurate placement, resulting in poor leadership. The process of head of affairs assignment starts from candidates dispatching from each head of administrative section. Those candidates must then meet the three elements of assessment, i.e. the personality element, qualification element, and potential element. The candidates will be selected by head of agency as the top leader in the agency. The head of agency, however, poses difficulties to determine which candidate to put into position, frequently because of no proportional system exists to provide assistance in decision making process. A method is needed tomake more accurate placement for better leadership result.This research utilizegroup technology as the assessment elements hierarchical data structure and decision table as the rule evaluation engine to form a decision support system for making the replacement process of the heads of affairs easier and more accurate.
Yield Forecasting to Sustain the Agricultural Transportation UnderStochastic ...IJRESJOURNAL
ABSTRACT: Agricultural transportation is a major part of the United States’ transportation systems. This system follows a complex multimodal network consisting of highway, railway, and waterways which are mostly based on the yield of the agricultural commodities and their market values. The yield of agricultural commodities is dependent on stochastic environment such as weather conditions, rainfall, soil type and natural disasters. Different techniques such as leaf growth index, Normalized Difference Vegetation Index (NDVI), and regression analysis are used to forecast the yield for the end of harvest season. The yield forecasting techniques are used to predict the agricultural transportation needs and improve the cost minimization. This study provides a model for yield forecasting using NDVI data, Geographical Information System (GIS), and statistical analysis. A case study is presented to demonstrate this model with a novel tool for collecting NDVI data.
Injection Analysis of 5 Mwp Photovoltaic Power Plant on 20 Kv Distribution Ne...IJRESJOURNAL
ABSTRACT : A new 5 MWp PLTS or PV has been built in Oelpuah Village, Kupang Tengah. According to PT. PLN NTT,the amount of injected power to the distribution network cannot reach its maximum capability. At the moment, the average value of injected active power is 2 MWp. In this paper, a solution to achieve maximum injected power will be discussed. As a result of the study, the main problem is absence of energy storage. It cause the output power of the PV strongly affected by the weather. Hence a fluctuation of generated power cannot be avoided. The frequency in the distribution network system can be easily increased or decreased. Sudden drop in frequency due to 5 MWp lost, will cause the frequency to decrease beyond the standard value. The under frequency relay trips because it takes a long time to return to the originalvalue. A 5% of droop setting value is not suitable with those conditions. The droop characteristic setting should be reduced to 1% as a proposed solution. So that the response to frequency changes is more sensitive
Developing A Prediction Model for Tensile Elastic Modulus of Steel Fiber – Ce...IJRESJOURNAL
ABSTRACT: This paper attempts to develop a prediction model that can be used in line with prescribed laboratory experiments for indirect tensile test such that tensile elastic modulus can be predicted for cement stabilized lateritic soil reinforced with steel fiber using measured properties of the material. The results of the tensile elastic modulus obtained from the Derived Prediction Model almost nearly replicates that obtained from calculations from laboratory experimentation. Results obtained revealed that both the predicted values and calculated values have a linear correlation with an R2 of 96.4%. On this basis the Derived Prediction Model can be said to be valid within the limits of the study.

In order to maintain the stability of the economy through lending, Bank Indonesia issued a form letter on March 15, 2012 on the application of risk management for the bank conducting credit. In an effort to minimize these problems, Bank Indonesia recommends the precautionary principle in arranging the loan terms and choose the prospective customer in the credit granting institutions, both banks and cooperatives to take into account the risk on lending. A method is needed to select bank for credit applications to the public, i.e. the customer. This research uses the comparison of MADM (Multiple Attribute Decision Making) between TOPSIS (Technique for Order Preference by Similarity to Ideal Solution) method and ELECTRE (ELimination Et Choix TRaduisant la realitE) method for the loan provisions to the customers. With the hope of getting the quickest and the most accurate solutions, the hesitancy in determining customers for lending can then be minimized.
Investigations on The Effects of Different Heat Transfer Coefficients in The ...IJRESJOURNAL
ABSTRACT: In the metal machining, the cutting fluid has become a tough problem in term of the health of works and environmental protection. The heat transfer coefficients of the water-based fluid, mineral oil and plant oil are distinct. An investigation focused on the effects of different heat transfer coefficients (h) on the cutting thickness compression ratio, chip formation, stress distribution and specific cutting energy is presented and discussed. In this study, three heat transfer coefficients have been simulated by Third WaveAdvantedge in machining AISI 1045 steel during different cutting speeds.It has been shown that the Mises stress and temperature are both affected by the heat transfer coefficient. When the h reaches higher, the Mises stress increases and the temperature shows the opposite trend. Also, the results can be found that the chip compression ratio decreases and shear angle increases when hrises. The relationship between specific cutting energy and heat transfer coefficients can be found in this paper.

Each element and layout of the building represents the alignment. In line with the development of the era, the pattern of community life changed resulting in traditional buildings are very regular and uniforms individually undergo a process of change without leaving the concept of Tri Angga and the philosophy of Tri Hita Karana.This paper is the result of field research that examines building changes by taking the example of traditional homes that undergo many changes to be able to conclude how traditional value changes occur in the original house.The results indicate that the change occurred partly due to the personal tastes of its inhabitants without the loss of fundamental changes in their philosophical value.Changes are found in non-structural building components and are strongly influenced by the ease of implementation of construction aspects. Analysis of the teachers' code-switching shows that code-switching in the two lessons was vastly different, with little codeswitching in the teacher-facilitated lesson.Evident in other lessons, in which science was taught as a content subjectbut with abstract names that had no corresponding local names in Silozi, there was frequent use of codeswitching for reiteration and message qualification. The direction of the language switch from Silozi to English as well as the proportion of teachersspeaking in English suggests that the official language for teaching is English at upper primary, grade 4 to 7. The science lesson and code-switching is a necessary tool for teachers to achieve teaching goals in content-based lessons involving students who lack proficiency in the instructional language. The study was conducted in five government primary schools in Katima Mulilo, the capital of the Zambezi region in Namibia.The national language is English language, with no exception inscience, mathematics, and language subjects.All Schools are located in a Katima Mulilo-urban. The students are from mixed classes, lower, middle and upper class families with their parents typically working as unemployed single mothers, domestic workers, clerks, nurses, teachers, and accountants. Some of the students could understand English because of their parents‟ educational background or in instances where English is spoken at home.

This paper reviews and discusses Kano’s model with Quality Function Deployment related to customer satisfaction and compares if the traditional approach is in keeping with university practice. Furthermore, it argues that industry has concepts and ideas that can be more proactive if applied to an educational environment where students’ demands are ever increasing and their expectations are becoming higher. If universities are to improve student-learning experiences then novel and successful techniques are needed. One such approach is discussed in this research paper to find better ways to improve student satisfaction.

Based on the actual development of natural gas engine control unit, the structure and function of ECU software are studied with reference to AUTOSAR software design standard. This paper studies the structure of the application of the software layer of the electronic control system and the main control strategy under the various conditions of the structure, and puts forward the underlying software resources needed by the application layer software. This paper analyzes the internal and peripheral resources of Infineon XC2785x microcontroller and designs hardware abstraction layer software and ECU abstraction layer software. The current characteristics of the jet valve driven by the natural gas multi-point injection engine were investigated. Automotive electronics technology has been widely used in modern vehicles which, and gradually become the development of new models, improve the performance of the key technical factors[3] .
Risk Based Underwater Inspection (RBUI) For Existing Fixed Platforms In Indon...IJRESJOURNAL
Abstract For existing fixed platforms in Indonesian waters, a method to determine underwater inspection basedon the risk level is needed as an alternative for the conventional time-based underwater inspection. This paper discusses the development of Risk Based Underwater Inspection (RBUI) for Indonesian fixed offshore platforms by adopting the inspection scope from API RP 2A-WSD and API RP 2SIM. The risk will be determined based on the calculated Consequence of Failure (CoF) and Probability of Failure (PoF), and then it will be converted into a relevant inspection interval according to the references. In addition, it had also been discovered that the minimum fatigue of a platform that is shorter than the intended design life appeared to be the major problem of the Indonesian existing platforms. Therefore, this condition would be taken into consideration as a factor to override the preliminary inspection interval plan. Sample of 10 platform data located in Indonesian waters were used for RBUI analysis in this paper.

ABSTRACT: In this paper,we design a Multi-platforms intelligent system for flatness detection of rail
welding headbased on thedevelopment environment of Android software .The system uses a STM32 chip as
control core, a handheld smart terminal or personal computer as the carrier. The datas transmitted to intelligent
terminal or computer through the bluetooth communication technology are processed rapidly, the data curve is
drawed and the flatness characteristic parameters of the measured rail welding head is identified. The system
provides a friendly intuitive monitoring and operation interface, has the characteristics of fast, reliable, energy
saving, high accuracy, etc.

I. INTRODUCTION
In recent years, the high-speed railway develops violently in China , which greatly increase the capacity
of the Chinese railway, promoted the rapid development of China's economic and social.Long rail is made from
a 100-meters one .the smoothness of the welding head is closely related to the safety and stability of train.
Therefore,during the production and daily maintenance of long rail, the flatness detection of the rail welding
head is of great importance. At present, the flatness detection of rail welding head mainly has the following
several ways: first, manual feeler inspection;second, large detection device;third, detection device based on the
MCU system .The solutions above all have shortcomes such as: inconvenience on use and operation; poor
human-computer interface leading the inconvenience on display and observe;the ability for data processing of
the inter microcomputer system is poor, and data is saved as a special format whichis not suitable for sharing.
Hardware Design
The system focuses on analysingthe variability of the environment in which the detection system is
used , and strives to adapt to the measurement taskunder a variety of different environments . In general, the
detecting system is required to be lightweight, portable and easy to use; at the same time , it is also required to
ensure a certain measurement accuracy ,shorter measurement time, provide a convenient and user-friendly
interface and ensure the energy efficient . Taking the situations aboveinto account , the control block diagram of
the system shown in Figure 1.
STM32 32-bit Flash Microcontrollers based on the ARM Cortex-M3 processor has opened a new
development degree of freedom, and has a powerful processing capability of digital signal , and the features as
low power consumption, low operating voltage, and high compatibilitymeet the system requirements. The
measurement system uses STM32 as the control core to complete the execution of the operation command and
the data collection and transmission. The hardware part uses the Festo straight line electric cylinder EGC-TB-
KF, Baumear sensor S14C as well as the thunder race stepping motor driver M353.

Design Ideas
An eddy current sensor is installed on a 1-meter long linear cylinder, andthe host computer sends out
detection command . The embedded control system arranged in the measuring device controls the stepper motor
to rotate, by this means the high-precision eddy current sensor is driven to do a straight line movementalong the
guide rail upon the slide table . At the same time, the data acquisition system collects the sensor signals high-
speedcontinuously , and the data collection is completed until the end of the trip. At this point, the system enters
the standby mode of reverse measurement, meanwhile, the embedded control system processes the datas and
sends them to the host computer to be processed and the measurement results is displayed. In the same way,
after receiving the detection command in the reverse measurement mode, the motor reverses and the sensor
moves in the reverse direction. The data acquisition system carries out high-speed continuous sampling on the
rail surface until the start of the cylinder. At this time, the system enters the forward measurement mode ,and the
datas are processed and returned to the host computer and the measurement results are displayed . At the first
time to start , in order to ensure that the detection system presents the data according to the detection direction of
the forward easurement mode,the sensor position is automatically restored to the cylinder start position .System
requirements are shown as fllow :
Detection distance: 950mm; detection accuracy: less than 50um; the detection time is less than 15s.
Working Principle of Control System
System schematic diagram (part) is shown in Figure 2

Working principle:
The control system is based on STM32F103C6T6 controller, and the chip integrates 12-bits A/D
converter, timer, synchronous serial port and so on. It can achieve data acquisition, stepper motor control, data
transmission and other functions. In order to improve the accuracy of A/D conversion, the voltage reference
chip REF192 is used , by collecting sensors and external reference voltage at the same time, the unknown signal
is compared with the known external referencevoltage to reduce the impactcaused by the external temperature
changes , and obtain accurate voltage datas. The electric cylinder driven by the stepper motorcarries the sensor
for scanning. The travellength of the stepper motor is determined by the number of control pulse, and the speed
is controlled by the frequency of the pulse. In order to adapt to the acceleration or deceleration curve of the
stepper motor, and scanwith precise fixed length ,the system uses a pulse generator cascaded by two timers in
the chip to form a variable frequency, variable number pulses to control the stepper motor.
Considering the battery capacity and the needs of field operations, with the purse of extending the
battery lifeas far as possible , the embedded system automatically enters the standby state when the system
standby ,and waits for the wake-upsignal to start detecting . The system also designs the one-button switch
circuit for the zero standby current , the system is energized,after the open or shutdown button is pressed ,the
controller starts and controls the solid state relay paralleledon the open, shutdown button to complete the self-
locking. With this circuit, the timer will shutdown if the system does not be operated at a long time , the circuit
is shown in Figure 3.

Software Design
The wireless communication technology between multiple-platforms structure and the embedded
system has been considered in this system , and it achieves an unified communications solutions between
variety of equipments and embedded system , also designs the program based on embedded system to achieve
hardware control, data acquisition, data communication, has realized the unity storage solutions of datas from
multiple platforms . Software architecture is shown in figure 4.
Android is a Linux-based open source operating system, is mainly used in software design for portable devices,
in this environment, the design has the following modules:

Detection Module: this module is used to set up necessary marking parameters, send out the
measurement instruction to the data acquisition system through communication module, and get the testing data;
After further processing and optimization ,the data is transmitted to the display module and data formatting
module.
communication module: It is an important part of the complete set of testing system, the bridge
between PC and data acquisition system. This system follow standard wireless communication protocol, and use
the multi-threading technology to complete data communication between PC and data acquisition system.
Self correcting module: different work environment, temperature and humidity will cause different
degrees of deformation to the mechanical part, the self-calibration need to be done to eliminate the system error
when the work environment changes.
Display module: it is a public module shows the data dealed and the test datas , related judgment
results are presented to the operator by means of graphics on it .
Data storage: This moduel will format the detected datas into an unified format and store them in the
data management module.Because there are many different platforms and PC operating systems, the unified
data format which is useful in different platform and different operating system is indispensable.
Data management module: completes the founction of data storage and reload.

Programming Introduction
The example program for packet processing :
Packet processing is divided into two parts, one is to parse the received packet, and then trigger the
corresponding events;Another is to generate the corresponding packets according to the corresponding
command and the packets are sented by the bluetooth module. The flow diagram of Data reception is shown in

Experiment and Result Analysis
In the condition of laboratory, the experiment for multi-platform portable intelligent rail flatness detection
system was carried out about the accuracy and repeatability of datas .

During the experiment ,10 thickness ranging feelers are placed on a 00 level ruler and detected by the
system designed in this paper. the experiment is repeated three times and the results are shown in table 1. the
measurement error is within 0.01 mm and repeatability within 0.005 mm , Comply with the design
requirements . The operation interface on intelligent terminal is shown in figure 7.

II. CONCLUSION
In this paper , we design the software and hardware of the intelligent detection system for the rail and
implements multiple-platforms detecting the surface roughness of rail welding head and realizes the unified
storage of multiple-platforms data . Various flexible cases are adopted and the the follow-up maintenance costs
significantly reduced. the test of Shanghai design institute proves that the system meets the design requirements
