are able to converse in 1 foreign
language

  • 3. SLOVAKIA - Region of central Europe – Slovak-Hungarian- German-Czech literary context – noblemen and educated people -difference /innovation is in the modern or European orientation in the sphere of language education towards all inhabitants.

Eurobarometer 2005 in 25 EU countries + proceeding and candidate´s countries shows: -More than half from 29 328 quizees are able to communicate in one foreign language, -at the top are small countries which mother tongue is not a world language, 69% from 1,108 Slovak quizees are able to converse in 1 foreign language (Czech, German, Russian)

Languages: English, German, Russian, French, Italian, Chinese Kindergarten courses Primary school -3rd grade Secondary school (1st foreign language+2nd) Biligual schools, university studies CLIL method Offical state language exam (test – listening, reading, language in use + written composition
