Introduction
Our galaxy, The Milky Way, is composed of billion of stars of all ages, sizes and masses. A common
stars, like our Sun, constantly gives out small amounts of X ray radiation, and larger burst of X rays
during a solar flare. Along with our Sun, stars shine as a result of nuclear reaction that happens deep
within their core. Causing chemical reactions that converts light elements into heavier ones and while
releasing energy in the process. Energy from the central region provides pressure to keep the star from
falling apart under its own weight. The contracting cloud is then called a protostar. A protostar is the
earliest stage of a star s life. A star is born when the gas and dust from a nebula become so hot that
nuclear fusion starts. Once a star has turned on it is known as a main sequence star. When a main
sequence star begins to run out of hydrogen fuel, the star becomes a red giant or a red supergiant.

All stars start as a nebula. Nebulas are large clouds of dust, hydrogen, helium and other ionized gases.
Gravity then might pull the gas and dust in a nebula together. In example of this is the Orion Nebula,
which was located in excellent detail by NASA s Hubble Space Telescope and Spitzer Space
Telescope. A protostar is formed from the contracting clouds deep within these clouds that gives rise
to knots with sufficient mass that the gas and dust can begin to collapse under its own gravitational

McCarthy s novel and Hillcoat s film adaptation of The Road portray a father and son s arduous
journey for survival, through key scenes, themes and flashbacks.
The father and son in The Road go from darkness to light in their journey from a desolate unspecified
location to a better and more inviting place and future. From the very beginning McCarthy creates a
strong image by repeating nothing and ash , words that suggest darkness, introducing to the reader a
world where people and places names are nameless and the darkness is a state of being. The motif of
light appears at the end of the novel, suggesting a possible shade of faith. The author describes this in
the scene of the boy watching over his dying father a fading light, the light of a candle . However,
Hillcoat s film adaptation does not capture the vast, crushed emptiness of the world envisioned by
McCarthy. The film contains hope, demonstrated by the brighter lighting and continuous flashbacks
portraying bright colours of nature. The film adaption also features live animals such as birds which
symbolise hope. In the novel, McCarthy shows hope by describing fish swimming in the stream,
whereas Hillcoat portrayed hope by showing a live beetle fly from an open can. Though they both
show signs of hope and life, one was presented while the father was still alive and the other after his
death.

Abstract: In this paper, a new Clinical Decision Support System (CDSS) Framework was proposed
which satisfies the compatibility, interoperability, and scalability objectives of EHR. The system will
also have a set of Distributed Electronic Health Records and centralized Knowledge Engines. These
Electronic Health Records are minimized and distributed In some parts of the country Knowledge
Engines are centralized and work together. Each centralized Knowledge Engine is specialized in a

A Brazilian Concert Review
I attended a Brazilian concert named Choro das 3 on April 11,2016 at Evergreen Presbyterian Church.
I was expecting this musical to sound very festive, fun and relaxing. The instrumental group consisted
of three sisters and their father. Elisa played the Brazilian mandolin, banjo, and the clarinet. She also
writes and performs on the piano. Lia holds the harmony while she played the seven string guitar.
Their father, Eduardo, gave us the rhythm with the frame drum. Corina doubled n the piccolo. The
music I was exposed to doing the performance was Debussy called Fascia lee played by the piano. I
was not able to get the rest of the composer s entire names that were mentioned in this performance
due to their accents. What I liked about this performance was that it was family oriented and they
seemed very close and support each other in every move they make. However, I did not find anything
I did not like about this performance each selection was very beautiful. They took there time to make

health problems were related to the wide spread presence of infectious diseases. However, in today s
world, the focus has shifted from infectious diseases to chronic diseases. As we dig deeper into
understanding the etiology of the chronic diseases, we notice that obesity has an association with a lot
of them.
To reverse this trend, the Healthy People 2020 has set Increasing the Proportion of Adults at a Healthy
Weight as one of its objectives. Some of the factors that are believed to effect obesity and overweight
are physical activity status and eating healthy. Here, we will be looking at two studies that have tried
to understand people s beliefs and motivation to address this objective.

Our next adventure was Brooklyn, NY. Although this borough was just a 20 minute train ride away I
never really had many opportunities to visit it. I was excited to visit the borough because growing up I
always heard that it had the best food in all of New York City. The borough is also known as Kings
County and is home to nearly three million people. This makes Brooklyn the second most populous
boroughs in New York. It is said that if the Borough were an independent city it would be the third
most populous city in the U.S. (191). The Dutch occupied Brooklyn in 1634 and till this day the area

after 20 years of living in New York City I was able to visit the seaside community. Coney island was

from the mainland was later connected by landfill creating a peninsula. It had received its name from
