My product will be similar to mine
because I am wanting to speak to
people about at certain topic. Also
at the start of the podcast they had
quiet background music just for the
introduction. They all have a good
chat about the topic and they all
get to understand what has
happened. In this podcast they talk
about more than one topic so that
the viewers that interested. They
speak sort of formal and informal.
In some parts that are very formal
and others they mess about.

in this podcast they do not have any background music at all. They are all in a
skype call together and they are all having a good chat about certain topics. Their
language is definitely informal because they all started arguing and also they use
swear words. They make the podcast interesting because they all have different
points on the topic and then they start to disagree with each other to make it
interesting .

In this podcast it is a 1 to 1 chat and that is what I would want mine to be. I wouldn’t
want mine to have a lot of people talking. They don’t have any music throughout the
podcast. It was just two people talking but what made it interesting was the different
video shots and images that came up onto the screen. They both have good quality
microphones and that makes it better to listen to. They are both informal but none of
them are using slang or anything like that. People want to watch it because at the
time it was a trending topic so people were interested in what the competitor had to
say.

• Some of the common features that the researched products have
are that two of them don’t have any background music and they
just keep it about the voice. Also two of the podcasts keep it to one
topic and so people wont click off it if they are only there for a
certain topic.
• What aspects of the research will you include within your on work?
• I want to include In my work are having a 1 to 1 chat. Also I will
have quiet background music at the start for an introduction and
when I go onto different topics I will add a swoosh transition noise. I
will be speaking informal but I will still be polite so people can
understand clearly.
