3. Question One
• Done in the form of a prezi. It’s got a nice style to it.
• The text can overlap with objects on the screen
making it hard to read.
• The first part is about how they tried to appeal to
their target audience. This is a good point to include
in my own work.
• They’ve mentioned things such as editing and
Goodwin’s theory, but don’t go into much detail.
• They do mention what conventions and codes they
conform to, though.
• They have included an example, but it may have
been more useful if it was just a clip.
4. Question One
• They then go onto talking about how they
challenged the codes and conventions. What they
have done, is given a reason why they did it.
• They also talk about the ancillary tasks, but very
briefly. Here they didn’t really talk about real life
media products.
• It is very short, doesn’t contain a lot of other media
and there is very little detail.
7. Question Two
• I like how they talk about each separate component
such as colour and typography. They’ve spoken
about each product and how they relate, which is
good.
• They talk about the reason behind their choices
which is good. They’ve also spoken about the way it
is received by the audience.
• They’ve mentioned branding and included some
key words
• They don’t go into much detail and it’s quite short.
9. Question Three
• Quite short again and it’s quite difficult to hear.
• I like the use of videos when he talks, but they’re a
bit too small.
• They talk about the audience research they’ve done
and how it effected their work quite well, too.
11. Question Four
• Doesn’t flow, not edited.
• I like how they’ve used pictures to make it more
interesting to watch. I also like how they’ve used
pictures of themselves when they talk.
• Doesn’t sound like there’s much of a script. They
could have missed out on some information.
• I like the way they’ve done it in a style of an
interview.
• They’ve not really spoken about each technology,
just said a list of what they use.
• They have some sort of conclusion but it doesn’t
answer the question.
