This proposal outlines a student's plan to produce a music video for the song "GoGhost" by Karlaa. The intended audience is teenagers aged 14-17, as the song's lyrics about friendship can resonate with them. Over the course of the semester, the student will research locations, camera angles, and editing techniques. They will then spend several weeks filming and editing the music video. In their evaluation, the student will compare their work to the original music video and their first project to assess improvements and weaknesses. The goal is to gain experience with video production skills like Photoshop, Premier Pro, and camera operation.

The French Revolution, which began in 1789, was a period of radical social and political upheaval in France. It marked the decline of absolute monarchies, the rise of secular and democratic republics, and the eventual rise of Napoleon Bonaparte. This revolutionary period is crucial in understanding the transition from feudalism to modernity in Europe.

A Strategic Approach: GenAI in EducationPeter Windle
Artificial Intelligence (AI) technologies such as Generative AI, Image Generators and Large Language Models have had a dramatic impact on teaching, learning and assessment over the past 18 months. The most immediate threat AI posed was to Academic Integrity with Higher Education Institutes (HEIs) focusing their efforts on combating the use of GenAI in assessment. Guidelines were developed for staff and students, policies put in place too. Innovative educators have forged paths in the use of Generative AI for teaching, learning and assessments leading to pockets of transformation springing up across HEIs, often with little or no top-down guidance, support or direction.
This Gasta posits a strategic approach to integrating AI into HEIs to prepare staff, students and the curriculum for an evolving world and workplace. We will highlight the advantages of working with these technologies beyond the realm of teaching, learning and assessment by considering prompt engineering skills, industry impact, curriculum changes, and the need for staff upskilling. In contrast, not engaging strategically with Generative AI poses risks, including falling behind peers, missed opportunities and failing to ensure our graduates remain employable. The rapid evolution of AI technologies necessitates a proactive and strategic approach if we are to remain relevant.

Working Title:
GoGhost
Audience:
My product would appeal to any gender as the song mainly talks about friends and friendships
which is something everyone can relate to. However, it is mainly aimed at teenagers (14-17 years
old) both males and females as rapping and Uk drill is something teenagers listen to or would feel
like they have to listen to it because everyone else does it.
In our generation teenagers also feel like they have to compete with each other or appear like an
achiever just to make themselves feel good, this is why I would class my audience as
Emulators/Wanna be’s and socially conscious type B.
Furthermore, my project is free as it can be found on Youtube so people can use the majority of
their wages on living expenses which is why the social grade would be working class.
Rationale (approx. 100 words)
Throughout this year I think that I’ve made good improvements. In the beginning of the year I didn’t
really know how to go about these project and I wasn’t very good at using Photoshop, Premier Pro
or even a camera but now that I was able to practise those skills in my projects I was able to get
understanding in all those editing software.
Studying Creative Media has really helped and informed me about a lot of things including my
choice for this project. Thanks to this course I was able to experience making music videos to edit
it afterwards which is something I always enjoyed doing. With the knowledge that I have now I am
able to differentiate different shot types and angles and I also know how to use Adobe Software
quite well which is something I’ll need in my music video.
Project Concept (approx. 200 words)
For my project I’m going to produce a music video.
I chose the song “GoGhost” from Karlaa because the lyrics that she used are quite relatable for a
lot of teenagers including me and this is something I would like to express in my project.
In my music video I’m thinking of lip singing the whole song while doing quite a lot of hand
movements to really try and get my point across and to make sure that the audience understand
the lyrics plus the message behind it.
Unlike some female rappers/singers I’m not planning on dressing inappropriately or too ‘extra’.I’ll
just keep it simple but still make it ‘put together’
For my research I will need to look for good locations that are in Easingwold. I will also have to
research different angle shots that I’m going to use as I would like to use as many angle shots as
possible to be able to select the ones that I will use.
This research will help me because when I have a wide range of angle shots, the editing process
won’t have to be over the top or I won’t have to use too many effects to make it look good.
Evaluation (approx. 50 words)
For my evaluation I will be comparing my work with the original music video and my first ever
music video project so that I can be able to look at my improvements but also my weaknesses to
be able to improve in the future. I am also planning on writing down everything that I though was
good in my project and also everything that didn’t go as planned and could be improved. This
process is very important and useful as it will be able to help me in the future when I will be looking
back and reflecting on it.
