Initial Reaction
My initial thoughts after going through the video game theory/lecture were that I will
most likely find this task enjoyable and exciting as I am into gaming myself, however I
may struggle producing the game as I am inexperienced in pixel art. I was thinking I
could make either a single player first person shooter (FPS), a challenge game like an
obstacle course or either a racing game. I may even make my games in the style of
classic 80’s arcade games with bright vibrant text and colours, I think I will be good at
creating ideas for this task and making a product which is unique and authentic. I don’t
plan on making my game very realistic or have high quality graphics as I simply wont
have time or the resources, I plan on completing the production in 3 weeks and have a
final product which is playable.

Mood Board Analysis
There is repetition in my mood board for example there are many aerial view games and
side scroller games, this is because I intend to make my game in the style of either a side
scroller or aerial view game. I have also added many zombie games into my mood board
because I plan on producing a zombie survival game, I have also used a few maze games in
my mood board as I plan on making the game map a maze. You can also see I have used a
lot of dark low key lighting images as I intend to make my game have a dark sinister tone as
it’s a zombie survival game. My mood board will influence my final product by giving me a
basis and plan of how I want my game to look.
