How Effective Combination of Main Product & Ancillary Texts
1. How Effective is the combination of
your main product and ancillary
texts?
2.
3. House Style
It was extremely important that I keep some what of a house style across all
three media products, in order to have a sense of synergy. This is to ensure that
the brand of all media products are recognised. I was able to do this through...
Bus Stop
Movie Poster
I phone 6
Covers
X Box One Home

Teaser Trailer
Movie
Magazine

4. Fonts & Typography
I kept the same style, and effect of fonts through out all platforms of my media
product...
5. Using the same House Style, Colour Coding, and
Fonts/ typography allowed me to make all three
of my final products recognisable brands.
Allowing my media products to stand out with
my target audience, increasing the over all
awareness of my new up coming film.

6. Using the distorted and edgy vivid red font,
against dark backgrounds, such as grey and
black really made the font pop, as well as match
the neo noir effects from my teaser trailer.

7. For my Movie Magazines masthead, I choose to
to use the exact Same fonts, but instead very
similar font, which still appeals to my films
genre, as well as my plot .

8. Film Brands
Film brands need to be memorable and clear so
that audiences will be able to instantly recognize
their various products, which is also extremely
important for film franchise.
9. Theme
The Theme I often implemented into every
Media text, was the Colour Mask. Only
highlighting the mains lips, and gun, which is
seen in my teaser trailer.
10. The colour mask theme shown from
experimental to drafts, to the final product. The
unique vivid colour of lips is able to represent
the femme fatale representation, as well as
create a unique selling point.

11. Conclusion
• I would say that I was effectively able to
combine each of my media texts, to be
promoted as one. By linking the same fonts,
house style, as well as colour masks I was able
to make a recognisable brand for my
audiences, which I am really pleased about.
