How effective is the
combination of your main
product and ancillary texts?

House Style
It was very important to keep a house style across all of the three media products, in order
to have a sense of synergy. This is to ensure that the brand of all media products are easily
recognised. I was able to do this through the following.
Movie Poster
Bus advertisement
Billboard
And also my Teaser trailer
and my magazine cover.
Font & Typography
Throughout all my media products I wanted to use the same font and effects as I wanted to
keep to the house style that I had created.
By using the same house style, colours and
fonts/typography allows all my final products to be
recognisable brands to my target audience. By using the
same house style, colours and fonts/ typography allows my
media products to stand out and will increase the over all
awareness of my new upcoming movie.
House Style, Colours, Fonts
Using the gothic, bold red font on a dark background
such as black made the font stand out more and helped
to connote the genre of my movie which is horror.
Fonts & Typography
For my movie magazine masthead, I choose to use a
font that looked like it had been wrote as I didn’t want it
to look to similar to my movie title font that I had used,
although I did stick to the same colours throughout my
movie magazine cover.

Having a film brand in your teaser
trailer is important as it help your
teaser look more realistic and
professional. The film brand that I
choose to do needed to be
memorable and clear so that the
target audience is able to
recognised it easily and know
what they had made before.
Film Brands
The theme that I incorporated into every media text was both of
the main characters one in a balaclava and a female character,
both of these characters are heavily featured in my teaser trailer
and throughout my media products.
Theme
I was able to combine each of my media texts to allow
them to be promoted as one. As I linked the fonts,
house style and colours together throughout each of my
media product I was able to make a brand that would
be easily recognised by my target audience.

  • 3. House Style It was very important to keep a house style across all of the three media products, in order to have a sense of synergy. This is to ensure that the brand of all media products are easily recognised. I was able to do this through the following. Movie Poster Bus advertisement Billboard And also my Teaser trailer and my magazine cover.
  • 4. Font & Typography Throughout all my media products I wanted to use the same font and effects as I wanted to keep to the house style that I had created.
  • 5. By using the same house style, colours and fonts/typography allows all my final products to be recognisable brands to my target audience.   • 6. Using the gothic, bold red font on a dark background such as black made the font stand out more and helped to connote the genre of my movie which is horror. Fonts & Typography
  • 7. For my movie magazine masthead, I choose to use a font that looked like it had been wrote as I didn’t want it to look to similar to my movie title font that I had used, although I did stick to the same colours throughout my movie magazine cover. Font & Typography
  • 8. Having a film brand in your teaser trailer is important as it help your teaser look more realistic and professional. The film brand that I choose to do needed to be memorable and clear so that the target audience is able to recognised it easily and know what they had made before. Film Brands
  • 9. The theme that I incorporated into every media text was both of the main characters one in a balaclava and a female character, both of these characters are heavily featured in my teaser trailer and throughout my media products. Theme
  • 10. I was able to combine each of my media texts to allow them to be promoted as one. As I linked the fonts, house style and colours together throughout each of my media product I was able to make a brand that would be easily recognised by my target audience. Conclusion
