1. What do Jesus Christ and the Christian faith mean to you? How does your faith

My faith journey has been a long, gradual process of learning to know and follow
Jesus as I grew up in a local Mennonite church and a Christian family. The transition
of going to college has pushed me the most. Having independence put me in the
situation to make all of my own choices. Do I wake up and go to church? Do I go
to chapel? How do I navigate choices around alcohol use or dating? How does my
faith inform these areas of life? I take the answers to these questions seriously. One
of the areas where I have grown and continue to grow is through the classes I have
taken. My classes have pushed me to consider what I believe and why I accept
certain things as true. My concentration on peace and conflict studies often leads to
meaningful class discussions where I am challenged to connect my faith to politics,
economics, social issues, and conflicts around the world.
I believe that it is important to actively live out a lifestyle that can be seen in Jesus s

Night is an image that is capitalized on in many major works of literature. The
connotation behind night can vary between author, and often the meaning behind
night in different works are juxtaposed. In the novel, Night, the title is used as
negative imagery as well as an overall dreary theme to the nonfiction work. Hymn
to the Night by Henry Wadsworth Longfellow however, consists of a lighter tone

When reading the Apology and the Crito of Plato, one inevitably comes upon a
seeming fundamental contradiction between the two dialogues. The Apology
presents readers with a defiant Socrates who declares in his trial that, if acquitted on
the condition that he never philosophize again, he would continue to practice
philosophy in spite of the jury s order to the contrary:

Rather, it clears the debate considerably. If the Apology passage is shown to have
been made in defiance of an illegal court procedure, then the Apology passage
cannot be taken as evidence of Socratic support of civil disobedience. Such evidence,
coupled with the obedience to law proscribed in the Crito, allows the supposed
contradiction between the two dialogues to be dismissed.
In order to analyze the Apology and the Crito in relation to each other, one must first
make an assumption that has not been proven to any significant extent. One must
assume that the Socrates character within the two dialogues is both consistent and
trustworthy in espousing philosophical arguments. By accepting this assumption, one
can evaluate the inconsistencies within the two Socratic dialogues as if they were a
complete, consistent whole. Following such an assumption, one can examine the
philosophy in the Apology in relation to that within the Crito with logical bearing.
In order to understand the seeming contradiction between the two works, one must
understand the passages on which it is based. The defiance passage of the Apology,

Third, guitar solo (2:40 3:05) is when the listener knows it is about to reach its
climax of the song. The song goes to a higher cord on the guitar and has no lyrics,
so it conveys a sense of worry to the audience. Forth, opera (3:05 4:07) is when the
other members of the band come in with Mercury. With the other members of the
band coming along it creates a wide vocal range. At this point of the song, it seems
that the narrator (Mercury) is arguing with someone, and that is the main reason for
the other members entrance. Fifth, rock (4:07 4:54) this is when the climax occurs,

shows how being faithful and perseverance plays a big role in the world we are

The other two nominations came from Best Writing, Adapted screenplay, and for
Best Achievement In Film editing. The last one was for Best Achievement in
Sound Mixing. The American Sniper movie end up winning the oscar for Best
Achievement in Sound Editing (trumbo). First off, Love shows itself many times
throughout the movie American Sniper through the complexity and actions of the
varied characters. Some of characters play a much bigger role in identify the theme
than do others. Taya, Chris Kyle wife known for being a humble wife. Even
Though She didn t like the idea of Chris being at War killing enemies or enemies
killing him. When Chris decided to go to war, she didn t divorce or leave him.
Several times, She told Chris not to go back to War, however Chris refused. Many
wife in this situation will divorce or leave them but she never did. While Chris was
at War, she stayed faithful by not cheating on Chris and supporting him with his
missions when he was at War. What kept them from being divorced was Love. The
main character Chris kyle also reveals how much love he had toward his Navy
Seals Team by always being there with them to help protect their country. In the
move Chris was ask by his wife if he was ever thinks about who will be at the end

His body. His... his body was just...lying there. In a position and coldness not
foreign to him. His eyes pierced my skull so painfully as if to be a return action to
the bullet I put through his head. I meant to do it, I did, I really did. I mean, how I
was I supposed to let that bloke get away with murder again. But something about
his last words and how sharp and cold the trigger felt under my finger and how fast
my heart was beating and how his body hit the ground and how all that blood could
come out of a person, as if his evils were escaping through the liquid. I can t lie that
bed was soft but the only thing I could render doing in it was sit with that damn gun
