I did my wheel chair day on March 11. It was the day of the anatomy practical. So I
have to admit when I arrived at school I was more concerned about finishing my
practical than doing my wheelchair assignment. I was in the wheelchair while

This is a really small book (just over 200 pages) and while the images are graphic
and the characters accessable, the author just doesn t have the space to spread out
and let the reader develop a real emotional response to these characters and their
actions. Nor is he able to provide any perspective on the battle and what it means
even for the individual characters he has presented.
I think it helps to have read the section in his narrative history of the Civil War that
deals with Shiloh. But this means that the novel doesn t really stand on its own.
The reader must come equiped with prior knowledge or be left with questions that
will require some research. Perhaps not bad, but I would have preferred a more
comprehensive treatment something more like Tom Wicker s Unto This Hour. That
s just personal taste. Foote did what he intended and did it well. I can t help it if I
just want more.
Fans of Shelby Foote s massive three volume Narrative History of the Civil War,

Government securities are often sold through a mechanism similar to an auction.
There currently exists a significant amount of literature about estimating such models,
for example, using data from the United States, Turkey, or France. This project aims
at studying the workings behind government bond selling mechanisms. The project
will look at studies that try to empirically characterize the strategic behaviour of
participants in government bond auctions in order to construct a counter factual
estimate of auction outcomes under either a discriminatory or uniform price format.
Using structural econometric methods, it is possible to construct estimates of the bid
functions of auction participants, i.e. ranges of quantity and price combinations for
the different bidders, and to then form an estimate of auction revenues if a country
were to switch from, for example, a discriminatory to a uniform price mechanism.
This research project will aim at reviewing these studies and their underlying
theoretical framework and provide a discussion about how to empirically characterize
the New Zealand government bonds selling mechanism, in particular how to
empirically characterize the strategic behaviour of financial institutions buying New
Zealand government bonds.

many emotions at the end of the movie, but they can all be summed up to sad,
inspired and relieved. Initially, I felt sad after watching the movie because no one
should have to feel hopeless or that they are bound to fail. Also, because in America,
one of the wealthiest countries, children should not have to go without their primary

Throughout the movie, Mister, the main character, and his mother made large life
