Throughout history, the death penalty has been a prominent part of society. In ancient Mesopotamia,
the death penalty was seen as retribution for certain crimes, and to this day, is now a common practice
in the United States. Before, when the United States were still colonies, the death penalty had been
carried out by hanging and other various methods but today in the modern age, the Unites States
method of execution in most states is lethal injection (Issitt). Unlike previous methods, such as
electrocution and the firing squad, the lethal injection is virtually painlessly due to certain drugs being

land occupied by Mesa Verde. The Ancestral Puebloans, or Mesa Verdeans, associated with the
archeological sites of Mesa Verde National Park, lived in the Mesa Verde region from the mid sixth
century to the end of the thirteenth century.[3]
Around 650 A.D., the Mesa Verdean peoples initiated construction of apartment style homes, termed
by Spanish explorers as pueblos. The Puebloan architecture is original in that it utilized the local stone
and mud deposits of the region to maintain the structural integrity of their burgeoning developments.
As this community evolved into the twelfth century, Mesa Verdeans further integrated the geology of
their environment into their lifestyles by building homes, known as cliff dwellings, within the
naturally formed alcoves of Mesa Verde. By the thirteenth century, the Mesa Verdeans vacated this
region due to severe droughts and subsequent social instability. Despite the later abandonment of their
cliff dwellings, it is clear that the geology of Mesa Verde National Park impacted the lives of the

s up to 43 billion students to pay all of that back in full. Our most recent graduating Class of 2016
student is coming out of college owing an average of $37, 172 in loans, making an increase of 6%
since 2015. Which is significant amount of growth to have within such a short period of time. Many of
these students are unable to make their monthly payments whether it be because of the tremendously
high interest rates or because they simply don t have the sufficient funds to pay their monthly quotas.

if a fruit could charge an iPhone without being plugged into an actual outlet. In this lab, the Coke acts
as an acid and the banana is potassium. The RCA cables were used as connectors to stick one side into
