That s where I become reluctant to recommend Deborah Tannen s teaching strategy. Looking back on
my public education experience I can think of a lot more exceptions to this description of how boys
and girls use language differently than agreements. Again, I m relying on personal experiences and I
can of course also recall instances where men have dominated a classroom discussion. However, for
me to say that all boys dominated girls during classroom discussions in Phoenix, AZ during the last
stretch of the 20th century or that all girls are reluctant to speak publicly outside of the comfort of
their peer group in Honolulu, HI during the beginning of the 21st century would be disingenuous and
could probably be attributed to an expectancy bias.

In the movie Tim Thomas who is really Ben is an all around good person who used bad qualities to
help people in need. He impersonated his brother the real Tim Thomas to get close to a woman who
was in need of a heart. He was dealing with the death of his wife, which I believe he blamed himself
for the accident. He took the life of 6 other people in the car including his wife, but he survived. He
wanted to repay his debt to society by donating his organs to those who needed them, and his ultimate
sacrifice ws his heart he gave to Emily. His character changed, because of he used being an IRS agent
to get close to the people he wanted to help.
The real Ben Thomas his brother the real IRS agent tried the entire movie to catch up with him. Being
on the run, and very short with him on the phone Ben was never able to catch up with him until he
started tracking the people Tim inquired about using his credentials. Overall Tim was a good guy who
just wanted to help Ben, but Ben continuously avoided him. Tim s character itself never changed , he

is stuck between getting married to someone new than being with someone she loves that she has
known from years ago before she met her fiancé. The main characters of this play are the bride,

The genesis of Edward Scissorhands came from a drawing by then teenaged director Tim Burton,
which reflected his feelings of isolation and being unable to communicate to people around him in

My papaw, Fred, has always played a role of being easy going and simple. He s about six foot, has

As a young girl, I recall watching a documentary about a young mother in Africa who cooked mud
cakes under the blinding sun to put some source of calcium into her starving childrens body. The cakes
were made from dried dirt which was dug from the ground. While children in first world nations take
for granted the meals they receive at home and in school, every day millions of men and women
across the world struggle to feed their children a nutritious meal. As children in the richest countries in
the world throw out vast amounts of food and have developed particular appetites for certain foods,
children in developed countries go to bed with an empty stomach. Many parents do not understand the
impact of raising their children with a silver spoon in their mouth and how it can shape them into
selfish adults in the long run. It is embarrassing as an American citizen to know that while our country
is facing obesity, people in other countries are dying from starvation. Most individuals believe that
famine and poverty are merely natural phenomenon based on geography and environment. However,
these individuals fail to realize that these issues are rooted in social relations. In order to eradicate
famine and poverty within society, particular social relations need to be eliminated.

Women s Views On Women
People in Afghanistan tend to think women should not have a voice. Women s opinions are not
considered to be important which is not right. I believe that women s opinions should be heard.
Women s rights have been exploited by different groups for political gain and sometimes for the so
called well being of the country in the last fifty years. Afghanistan has been stuck in a state of war for
over three decades now. The different types of groups that have been coming into the country to fight
have made a huge impact on the people of Afghanistan. This essay will state the type of struggles the
Afghan women are facing on a daily base and are in fact enduring the pain silently. I believe that

Since his tomb s discovery, King Tutankhamun s death has been debated by many scholars and anyone
who is interested. The ideas proposed by these scholars are constantly being challenged by other
evidence suggesting otherwise. The young King s early death has been a very debatable topic, but
evidence clearly points to the theory that his death was caused by an accident that broke his femur

In a Smithsonian article by Matthew Shaer, titled The Controversial Afterlife of King Tut , he
mentions that Zahi Hawass and his team noticed a break in his lower left femur seemed different than
the breaks made by Carter. The break was ragged rather than sharp. This suggests that it was broken
when he was alive. In the same article, Shaer also says that they noticed two layers of embalming
material in the wound. History.com talks about how nobody knew that wounds needed to be kept
clean so the wound would become infected with gangrene causing the leg to triple in size

Nicolas Rolin was born of a bourgeois family in 1376 (Harbison 2012). He became the chancellor to
Philip the Good (Duke of Burgundy). He became a very important figure in the politics because of his
various roles for the duke. Although he was very wealthy he was not very noble. The people in the
society had a negative image of him as he placed power and wealth before all and would not let
anyone take his place. (Bord 1898). Although not very noble, he still displayed some acts of charity,
for instance the Hotel Dieu in Beaune. Even his charitable acts are believed to be acts of Rolin
exercising his materially rich and ostentatious taste (Bord 1898). He funded the church Notre Dame
du Chatel where he was baptized and restored it. He later became the official patron of this church. He
also bought a house next to the church in order to be closer to it (Placido 2008). On the southern side
of the chapel, Rolin created a family oratory dedicated to St Sebastian (Soulard 2006). In this room he
had other pieces of art that he commissioned from other artists. There are many arguments about the
