Mind Map
Mind Map
• Strengths of using this method?
you can list information or ideas and pair them with photos, this is helpful
because it it gives you a clear direction of where the ideas might go. It helped
me in my final design by letting me fully imagine what my poster would look
like.
• Weaknesses of using this method?
Mind maps are not a creative way of expressing your ideas, which is a slightly
disappointing because I want to show my creativity and how strong my
imagination is.
• Did you like using this method? Why?
• I liked this method because it is one of the only methods that I have used
since primary school.
Mood Board
Mood Board
• Strengths of using this method
The strengths of using a mood board is that it is very visual and helps you
think and develop ideas, this is helpful because I can see previous coke
posters and help myself develop new and more interesting ideas.
• Weaknesses of using this method
The weakness are that you can’t explain any of the reasons why you chose
the picture, which is bad because I want to explain my reasons to give myself
a better idea for why I chose it in the first place.
Did you like using this method? Why?
I think using a mood board is helpful because I helps me brainstorm up ideas
using just pictures but lacks information to further explain why I chose them.

The strengths of brainstorming is that you can literally write what your thinking of on
the page and I think that was helpful because we got quite a couple of ideas
• Weaknesses of using this method
The weaknesses of using this method is the fact that if you haven’t got any ideas you
cant really do anything, which is disappointing because you don’t really have any
initial ideas to throw around.
• Did you like using this method? Why?
I didn’t like using this method because I didn’t really have many ideas and as soon as
we had an idea we stuck to it not giving us much variety.
Informal Pitch
We will start with a question to engage the
listener “what is coke” followed by
Coke being poured and fizzes
“well coke is… its…well let me spell it out”.
And the jingle goes..Music starts
“C is for coke that brings friends together,
O is for open this, can opening sound
K is for keeping cool with a cola, ice cubes jingle in a glass
E is for enjoy bliss” music dies down
Informal Pitch
• Strengths of using this method
One of the strengths is that you can get spoken feedback from your tutor so that you
can improve on parts that need improving, also it just helps you understand it more if
you read it to someone.
• Weaknesses of using this method
One of the weaknesses could be that it was slightly difficult to present our pitch to our
tutor because we didn’t fully understand the idea itself.
Did you like using this method? Why?
Yes because talking about my idea is better that putting it in writing.
