Number Name Brief Description
1 Compliance Means conforming to a rule, such as a specification,
policy, standard or law. Regulatory compliance
describes the goal that organisations aspire to
achieve in their efforts to comply with relevant
laws, policies and regulations.
2 Recognition of
marketing
communications
This means they need to be designed and presented
in a way that makes it clear they are advertising
material. The medium targeting will also be relevant
when deciding what is necessary to ensure that
customers know they’re viewing a marcom.
3 Misleading Adverts No person shall directly or indirectly promote a
product that comes across to the public as false
facts or misleading. Misleading meaning telling
them its only 99p but in the corner in small print
saying only for one day.
4 Harm and Offence Marketing communications must not contain
anything that is likely to cause serious or
widespread offence. Particular care must be taken
to avoid causing offence on the grounds of race,
religion, gender, sexual orientation, disability or age.

5 Children Those under 16 years old acknowledges that the
way in which children perceive and react to
marketing communications is influenced by their
age, experience and the context in which the
message is delivered. Repeating the same
advertisement to only children can also come across
as pressure rising a child.
6 Privacy Marketers must not unfairly portray or refer to
anyone in an adverse or offensive way unless that
person has given the marketer written permission
to allow it. Marketers are urged to obtain written
permissions before.

Public health policy increasingly emphasises good
dietary behaviour and an active lifestyle as a means
of promoting health.

It gives you an idea of what images and styles to use on your poster. It also makes you
become familiar with other themes that coca cola use.

It can take time to research all the different themes and styles, also it takes up time to find images and slogans
that will fit your chosen or theme ideas.

I like this method because I can visualise my poster a lot more now that I’ve put some images together.

The reason why I've picked he
dark red and black colour is for
my Halloween season theme the
dark red and black can make the
product to seem mysterious, the
orange is also for Halloween for
an image of a pumpkin and the
green is to represent witches.
The bright red and white are
classic colours that are used by
coca- cola so I decided to use
those colours for my winter/
Christmas theme. The bright
green colour is also used for
summer to make people think of
vibrant green grass, the colour
yellow, red and blue are used for
the summer theme.

• The strengths of using this method are choosing fonts can be more
organising for you work so the fonts are narrowed down.
• Weaknesses of using this method
• Some of the fonts are very similar to the original font that coca-
cola use.
• Did you like using this method? Why?
• I like using this method because it narrows different colours and
fonts down. This is also good because all my ideas have been
explained so if I forget why I chose that font or colour its written
down.

It gives you a wide range of options to choose from. Its also an organised way to put
down all of your ideas. It can be a quick way to write everything down if you have a
brief idea of what your going to do.

It can be difficult to think of different ideas such as different themes and songs. It can
take a lot of time if you don’t have a very big idea about what your going to do.

I liked this method because it’s an organised way to put down ideas and its easy to
read.

It makes your work more organised and easier to read when it comes to making the
radio advert.
• Weaknesses of using this method
It can be difficult to put the ideas in order so it will flow easily.

I liked using the method because it made it easier to make the radio jingle and the
script made it flow smoothly.

Group Idea Generation
• Strengths of using this method
We had a range of ideas from other people in the group and
used parts of everyone's ideas in the jingle. Which made it
easier to come up with I final theme and details.
• Weaknesses of using this method
It took time to decide on background music and see what
effects worked best in the jingle, it also took time to place
different effects and to fade them out at the right time.
• Did you like using this method? Why?
I liked using the method because it gave me a chance to work
with other people and to hear different ideas to make the
project be at its best. Other peoples contributions made it a
lot better than my own thoughts.
Formal Pitch
• Strengths of using this method
It was good because it allowed us to get a second opinion
and some feedback from Chantelle which helped to make
out project more successful.
• Weaknesses of using this method
We didn’t have to change much however we did like our
original radio jingle but the feedback did improve it.

I liked using this method because it was helpful to learn
new skills using different software's and to have other
peoples inputs and skills which helped me to learn more.

• Strengths of using this method
It was good to use this method because it helped us
remember where to put certain effects and to know exactly
where sounds went and where they needed so fade out etc..
• Weaknesses of using this method
It took up time to write the script and we had to alter the
script because we changed our minds about where sounds
should go and when they should fade. Making these decisions
made our project better.
• Did you like using this method? Why?
I liked using this method because it made our project more
organised and it ran a lot smoother with a script to help us.

• Strengths of using this method
The strengths of using this method are you can get the gist of what you'll be
working with while your creating your game and your becoming familiar with the
tools you need to use. It also gives you an idea of what characters to use in your
game when your researching the 8 bit characters.
• Weaknesses of using this method
The weaknesses are that it takes time to trace over characters to use in your game and
it takes time to use the different tools. Its very easy to make a mistake and draw out of
the lines or in an area your not supposed to, this can take time to correct.
• Did you like using this method? Why?
I liked creating sketches through Photoshop because it made me familiar with new
tools and how to use them. I feel like I know how to use Photoshop a lot more.
Formal Proposal
• Strengths of using this method
It was good to use this method because it extended my skills on Photoshop to
create something more advanced. It was good that I went from making a
poster not knowing how to use Photoshop to making my own game using
Photoshop. It showed me how much I have learnt so far.
• Weaknesses of using this method
Personally making a game wasn’t the most exciting project I have done on this
course because I'm not very interested in gaming I preferred making the radio
jingle, because this topic took more patience and time making the frames
because if a layer was slightly out of place in a frame you'd have to delete the
frame and figure out exactly where it is meant to be.
• Did you like using this method? Why?
This method wasn’t my favourite methods because of how precise you had to
be but it was good and I learnt new skills.

Why? • I liked using this method because you can put all your ideas clearly onto a page and your ideas are easy to read because of the layout.
  • 7. Mood Board • Strengths of using this method It gives you an idea of what images and styles to use on your poster. It also makes you become familiar with other themes that coca cola use. • Weaknesses of using this method It can take time to research all the different themes and styles, also it takes up time to find images and slogans that will fit your chosen or theme ideas. • Did you like using this method? Why? I like this method because I can visualise my poster a lot more now that I’ve put some images together.

Style Sheet Coca-Cola Coca-Cola Coca- cola Coca- cola fonts colours The reason why I've picked he dark red and black colour is for my Halloween season theme the dark red and black can make the product to seem mysterious, the orange is also for Halloween for an image of a pumpkin and the green is to represent witches. The bright red and white are classic colours that are used by coca- cola so I decided to use those colours for my winter/ Christmas theme. The bright green colour is also used for summer to make people think of vibrant green grass, the colour yellow, red and blue are used for the summer theme.

Style Sheet • Strengths of using this method • The strengths of using this method are choosing fonts can be more organising for you work so the fonts are narrowed down. • Weaknesses of using this method • Some of the fonts are very similar to the original font that coca- cola use. • Did you like using this method? Why? • I like using this method because it narrows different colours and fonts down. This is also good because all my ideas have been explained so if I forget why I chose that font or colour its written down.

Why? o I liked this method because I could finally see my poster coming together.

  • 13. Brainstorm • Strengths of using this method It gives you a wide range of options to choose from. Its also an organised way to put down all of your ideas. It can be a quick way to write everything down if you have a brief idea of what your going to do. • Weaknesses of using this method It can be difficult to think of different ideas such as different themes and songs. It can take a lot of time if you don’t have a very big idea about what your going to do. • Did you like using this method? Why? I liked this method because it’s an organised way to put down ideas and its easy to read.

Informal Pitch • Strengths of using this method It makes your work more organised and easier to read when it comes to making the radio advert. • Weaknesses of using this method It can be difficult to put the ideas in order so it will flow easily. • Did you like using this method? Why? I liked using the method because it made it easier to make the radio jingle and the script made it flow smoothly.
  • 16. Group Idea Generation • Strengths of using this method We had a range of ideas from other people in the group and used parts of everyone's ideas in the jingle. Which made it easier to come up with I final theme and details. • Weaknesses of using this method It took time to decide on background music and see what effects worked best in the jingle, it also took time to place different effects and to fade them out at the right time. • Did you like using this method? Why? I liked using the method because it gave me a chance to work with other people and to hear different ideas to make the project be at its best. Other peoples contributions made it a lot better than my own thoughts.
  • 17. Formal Pitch • Strengths of using this method It was good because it allowed us to get a second opinion and some feedback from Chantelle which helped to make out project more successful. • Weaknesses of using this method We didn’t have to change much however we did like our original radio jingle but the feedback did improve it. • Did you like using this method? Why? I liked using this method because it was helpful to learn new skills using different software's and to have other peoples inputs and skills which helped me to learn more.

Initial Reaction • Strengths of using this method It was good to use this method because it helped us remember where to put certain effects and to know exactly where sounds went and where they needed so fade out etc.. • Weaknesses of using this method It took up time to write the script and we had to alter the script because we changed our minds about where sounds should go and when they should fade. Making these decisions made our project better. • Did you like using this method? Why? I liked using this method because it made our project more organised and it ran a lot smoother with a script to help us.

Sketches • Strengths of using this method The strengths of using this method are you can get the gist of what you'll be working with while your creating your game and your becoming familiar with the tools you need to use. It also gives you an idea of what characters to use in your game when your researching the 8 bit characters. • Weaknesses of using this method The weaknesses are that it takes time to trace over characters to use in your game and it takes time to use the different tools. Its very easy to make a mistake and draw out of the lines or in an area your not supposed to, this can take time to correct. • Did you like using this method? Why? I liked creating sketches through Photoshop because it made me familiar with new tools and how to use them. I feel like I know how to use Photoshop a lot more.
  • 22. Formal Proposal • Strengths of using this method It was good to use this method because it extended my skills on Photoshop to create something more advanced. It was good that I went from making a poster not knowing how to use Photoshop to making my own game using Photoshop. It showed me how much I have learnt so far. • Weaknesses of using this method Personally making a game wasn’t the most exciting project I have done on this course because I'm not very interested in gaming I preferred making the radio jingle, because this topic took more patience and time making the frames because if a layer was slightly out of place in a frame you'd have to delete the frame and figure out exactly where it is meant to be. • Did you like using this method? Why? This method wasn’t my favourite methods because of how precise you had to be but it was good and I learnt new skills.
