Working Title:
shoot the mushroom
What is it called? This can change if you think of something better later
Product’s Purpose:
The purpose of my game is to entertain people and encourage them to be interactive with
others, such as if the game was online game people could talk to their friends and others
around the world who are playing the game. My game will also improve people’s focus
skills I will achieve this by making the mushroom harder to hit as the levelsprogress.
What is the product’s purpose (entertain/educate etc.) and how will you achieve this?
Genre:
My game is an adventure/ action game. Id class it more as action because it contains
weapons and shooting.
What sort of product is it
Content
The content of my game is a character which is my mushroom that gets shot to win, when
you shoot the mushroom down you win. You have 5 chances each life to shoot the
mushroom, when your 5 shots have ran out and you haven’t killed the mushroom you loose
a life, you have 3 lives all together and if all lives are gone with no wins you lose. The
background of my game is simple its just a grey back drop with a red brick wall.

Audience:
My game is aimed and nay gender and ages 15-23, any social status that has internet
connection in their household and the psychographic balanced. I think my game will appeal
to this audience because this age group are more likely to play video games than anyone
older or younger than these age groups.

Why would your project appeal to this person?
Research and Planning:
In my research and planning I researched different sound effects that are popular and will
attract gamers. I will use this for sound effects in my game. Also I researched different back
grounds and colours, in my research oi found that more simple backgrounds are more
affective and keep players more focused on the main idea of the game.

Think about any offensive material you will include?
The offensive material that will be included in my game are the bullets to shoot the mushroom.
Will you restrict younger people using/accessing it?
My game will be restricted from people under the age of 15.
Will it offend any social groups/religions/ethnicities?
My game may offend any social group that cant access the internet, however these people can still
play the game but they can’t talk to other players.
How will you ensure you do not offend anyone?
I will ensure not to offend anyone by writing a warning to the players at the start of the game to tell
them that this game does contain violence.
Are you using characters/names/logos of existing products?
My game does include the existing product of the evil mushroom from super Mario brothers.
Will your product be sufficiently different from existing products to not get sued for copyright
infringement?
My game will be different because the background and characters are different from existing
games.
