Rhetorical Analysis Of A Commercial
In Mrs. Smith's English class we are making commercials that have to do with ethos, pathos, and
logos and we have to make a commercial. We had to find a person that we can make seem like
everyone else but at the same time be the person they are themselves. For my commercial I did a
video of a guy named Bill Pidgeon and how he was running for president. I had to make things up
so everyone would like him and not just one group of people. Doing this project was actually more
fun than I thought, but what can really get you is if you work with a partner. You better make sure
that both of you do a lot of work on it and don't just goof off, like Mrs Smith says before you start.
In this unit it's all about how politicians use the words that ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net

The easy parts of this essay are at the start when you're not doing a lot, but looking for adds on the
computer, and doing different stuff on packets like, find a video or ethos, pathos, and logos and tell
how you seen those three in the video. When starting the project you will think that it is going to be
easy and actually I really is and when you start to get deeper into it may get hard, but that is when
Mrs Smith can really help you on what you need to do and how to do it the easy way where it is
faster, easier, and better. This project can be easy if you know all the stuff about computer or have
done this before because it is almost done on all computers and done by using the computer and that
is part of the reason why it was easy because the computer could help you with it if you want to edit
the commercial. Other than all the hard parts and the easy parts of this project, it is a fun project to
do if you are a person who loves computers or not. The project does have a lot of fun into it when
you want it

If I Quit Research Paper
Yes I would have quit because that would be a lot of stress and it would be very bad beaue ur
freezing and getting sick, getting frost bite and all the other stuff and I wouldn't be use to it because
i'm used to being able to go inside and get warm and wear a new pair of clothes everyday. Im also
used to eating whenever I want and stuff and not even worry about when i can and when I can't. It
would be crazy because you know i just wouldn't be use to the stuff that you would have to do. Now
maybe if i done that for a long time i might not quit because i'm already use to being there doing
stuff on a certain time and at a certain point and stuff like that. It would also be hard because you
have to buy the food and stuff from the certain people. ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
The lower prices are closer so it takes no time but it cost alot to buy the food.
If I didn quit i would hope to be the dude building the log huts cause then you wouldn't have to do
much but go cut down the trees and make little indentations in it so it doesn't roll off each other and
the house fall apart and if someone is in there then someone be dead or be very injured. It would be
hard but it would be more easy than any other thing. It would be also hard because you want the
trees to be hollow in the middle so it would last a while and not rot out so you can keep them up for
a lot longer.
Being a soldier while all of this stuff happening would be very hard because now that its winter they
got sicknesses going around everyone is getting frost bite and a lot of other bad stuff and even
depending on how long thy have been there they might be running out of food

How To Go Back To School
When you go back to school, you have to do a lot of stuff. You have to go to open house, go
shopping, and, the worst part, you have to get back in your normal school routine. Fortunately,
(sometimes) itś easy. Except for the routine, because thatś kind of hard.
So first, you have to go to open house. You have to get your schedule, find your locker, meet your
teacher, and find all your classes. You also have to bring all the school supplies for all your classes,
such as paper or tissues. When you find your locker, you have to put your stuff in it if you, have
them. You can also decorate it. When you meet your teacher, you have to talk to her about her class,
sometimes, where you're going to sit, etc. When you get your schedule, you have

High School Diploma
In the first step you can start by picking up all the dirty clothes and taking it to the laundry room,
then fold or put away the clean clothes neatly so later on it isn't hard to find something to wear.
Second step is have a trash bag and pick up all the big trash on the floor. Third step sweep all the
dust and small trash into the trash bag. Fourth step pick up all the stuff on your bed, vanity , ect.
Fifth step mop the floor and put good smelling stuff in your room then your done.
The importance of a High School diploma is letting us know that we are one step closer to prosper
in life. Many people drop out of High School as the let some dreams go , and leave there future to
just luck instead of working for it. A High School diploma is important

Basketball Court Research Paper
The Basketball Court
Damian Lillard once said, "Whenever I'm on the court, I feel like I'm making a statement and a case
that I belong." That quote says a lot about the feeling on the court; however, what I see and hear is
what gets me those feelings, and what I feel gives me the drive for success. The more and more I
drive towards success in the game of basketball the more people I meet and the more motivation and
inspiring I get from those people.
The stuff that I see on the court, playing and practicing, gives me motivation to be a better athlete. I
see players bonding over the same love for the game. Players are all around, working on their shot,
becoming better players. When we are in a group I look at all the faces and I can see ... Show more

I hear the dribbling of the basketball that is just music to my ears. Each and every player are
encouraging and motivating each other by saying stuff like, "Nice shot!" "Work Hard!" and "Don't
quit!" The sound of the net after shots made gives me chills. Out of all the sounds I hear on the
court; the net makes the best sound. While on the court the squeak of the players shoes, one after
another gives me this beat I play over and over again. During games, the defense talking, and
working hard to get the stop. All I hear makes me want to get back on the court as soon as I can.
After I'm on the court and I see and hear all those things I get these feelings that I feel no where
else. As I'm working hard and improving on my skills all I feel is adrenaline rushing through me. I
feel the need to improve my game and I need to give it my all every second I'm on the court. I can
just feel my heart beating 100 miles per hour. When I am on the court have this feeling that
surrounds me and makes me feel like I am meant to be here. Every time I am huddled around my
team I feel the "family" part of basketball. The stuff I feel gives me the urge to improve my game.
The stuff I hear, see, and feel just makes me love the game more and more. As I grow and improve;
the more stuff I hear, see, and feel. Everything I encounter on the court motivates me to work as
hard as I can every time I am on

Why APA Is Important To Me
The tips i gathered in the read section is fundamental to the whole week. i think that some of the
things i have learned will not only help me in this class but it will also help me in things in life in
general. it will help me to understands on how to really use APA format. Even though i have been to
other college APA formatting is something that is very tricky to me. im certified in office
administration so you would think it would be easy but for me the APA is defiantly hard and

i agree i think it is very fundamental it will really help us out this week and though out other class.

Jack London's The King Of Mazy May
Jack London, the Author of The King of Mazy May, is an American novelist, journalist, and social
activist. The King of Mazy May is a story about a boy named Walt Masters, who is trying to stop the
Jumpers from taking people's claims from the Mazy May Creek in the Yukon. Walt overhears the
claims and the Jumpers and decides to investigate. He sees the Jumpers and decides to spy on them,
follow them, and tries to stay hidden. The Jumpers are the people who are looking for gold in the
Yukon territory where Walt lives so they can get rich. Walt has been always on the Jumpers heels,
and went to the creek, unharnessed the dogs, and Walt went to a camp. The King of Mazy May's
theme is to not give up on what you do, because there might be some obstacles in the way, but you
beat those obstacles and go even further than before. These are some things that The King of Mazy
May can teach you about life. ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
The King of Mazy May teaches you not to give up, the reason why is that is because giving up isn't
the answer to anything, you can do more than just give up and say you can't do it, there are people
that believe in you, like your parents, friends, teachers, etc. Strive as they would, they could not
shorten this distance, and strive as he would he could not increase it. 2. Size of a person doesn't
determine what they are capable of. Second, size of a person doesn't determine what they are
capable of. The reason is because in The King of Mazy May, Walt Masters may be very young, but
he can do many things like a man, therefore size doesn't determine or matter what the person can do.
Walt Masters is not a very large boy, there is a manliness in his make–up, and he himself. 3. Hard

NASA Vs Mars
So, the topic for today is should we devote time and money to building a space–station on either the
moon or mars. This topic, is a rather tricky one. It's somewhat hard because it would definitely take
a very long time, and it would take a lot of recourses. It would also be slightly hard for, let's say
NASA ( National Aeronautics and Space Administration ) to send more and more resources every
time the newly colonized planet may need. They would definitely need some pretty high tech to ship
stuff to us.
So let's just jump into it. So, for the time AND patience it would take to colonize another planet, or
the moon, it uh, it wouldn't be easy. It would first need to start by creating water and that's where it
gets scientific. You would need to, i think burn carbons with hydrogens in oxygen to make H2O (
water ). I honestly dont know if that's how you'd do ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
to said station. In order for that to work, they'd need a rocket capable of traveling that far, for the
resources to get there before anybody dies, or something. Before i go farther into detail, i'd like to
clarify that i'm using mars as an example in this essay, just for clarification. You'd also want to be
able to grow your own crops, easy little crops though. If you've ever seen the movie THE
MARTIAN, you probably saw how he used his own...stuff...as a fertilizer, to grow potatoes.
Then basically, more and more becomes as such, etc. etc., the planets colonized, done. You'd need to
be able to make water, have the capability to receive resources, and grow your own as well. By the
way, the movie was epic, and I believe with advances in technology and modern sciences, it could
be possible to colonize mars, and travel there too. That would be key, to you know, TRAVEL to the
planet first huh? Yeah, i figured so. I think that it be pretty cool to be able to live on mars, and have
stuff shipped out to us, be able to grow stuff,

Fictional Narrative
I spent the majority of seventh grade looking at the back of Ryan Caneda's head and sighing
wistfully. He had all the trademarks of the Myspace generation and I loved him for it. Admittedly,
the way his shiny brown hair swooped over one eye like an Anime hero was what intrigued me at
first, but I knew I was caught: hook, line and sinker by the way he radiated mall–bought tween angst
from every pore of his being. All the Spencer's Gifts and Hot Topic stores in the world could
convince me less of his profound individualism. I often spent my allotted hour of Internet searching
for, then copying and pasting song lyrics into my online profile in order to trumpet the depth and
anguish of my troubled soul, hoping to impress him. I dyed my hair pink and purple to match my
"edgy" new style of dress, one akin to Ryan's ratty band t–shirts and tight jeans. I noted with quiet
fascination that he sometimes smelled like weed and beer, which made me fall even deeper in love
with him because how dangerous. It was safe to say that 99% of my actions and reactions during
this time were based on what Ryan would think if he were there with me. Conversely, there were a
few people in my life who did not feel as enamored with Ryan. While my parents saw my
burgeoning pubescence as a time that they should allow me to engage in self–expression, my best
friend, Nicole and her mother, Robin took it upon themselves to point out that my recent interests
were of the devil. Of course, Nicole and Robin

Comparison Of Family In Alice Walker's 'Everyday Use'
Tajanique Bellamy Ms.Potter ELA 2A CP/3rdPeriod Sept. 8, 2017 Family Comparisons Most
families share similar issue. Regardless of race, wealth, or even religion, all families, at some point,
hardships or even joys to share. In Alice Walker's "Everyday Use" a family is force to face issues
caused by poverty, misunderstandings, and separations. Momma, Maggie, and Dee all seems to
appreciate their heritage, but the problem is that they do not view the same way. This lack of
understanding is universal. In "Everyday Use" the family shares similarities and differences with my
family concerning the disrespect, sibling relationships, and hard working parents. One similarity
shared between my family and the short story's family involves disrespect. For an example, the
oldest Daughter is very disrespectful. In the story it says "she walked up to me and kissed me on
forehead" (2). That is disrespectful because that is an adult not your child. That is similar because I
use to kiss my mother and my Grandmother on the cheek and For some reason my uncle said to stop
learned not to disrespect because I was on the verge of loosing them both and that really hurts.
Another example of the disrespect is that "Dee was rifling threw Maggie's trunk at the end of the
bed"(3). That is disrespect because she did not and her and didn't know if she had personal stuff in
there, that compares to my little sister she is always going threw my stuff and touching my stuff
without my permission its aggravating and very disrespectful. The last example of the disrespect is
when momma called her Dee and she says "no momma not Dee Wangero Leewanika Kemanjo and
"momma asked her what where Dee go" Dee said she is dead" to me that is disrespect because that
name was passed own to her from her aunts and grandmother's. That compares to my little sister
because my mom calls my sister by her real name but she doesn't like her real name and my sister
kept saying she don't like that name, stop calling her that, and if my mom kept calling her that she
wasn't going to answer to her so she had to go to sleep early and wash her own Landry which she
didn't know how to do, the point is to not talk back to your mother like she's an friend its not cool or

John Proctor was an outcast by not going to church and plowing his fields on Sunday's. John doesn't
go to church because he doesn't like Reverend Hale. John says all he talks about is damnation and
stuff of the sort. I like John Proctor, don't go to church either. My family and I don't go to church at
all. I also do more stuff that guys do. I am more of a tomboy than I am a girly girl. I actually go
quad riding, fishing, hunting, mudding, etc. I enjoy hanging with the guys. That's how I'm an outcast
like John Proctor. The last characteristic that I can relate to Proctor is that we are both hard working.
John Proctor is also a hard worker like I am. John doesn't care what day it is because he plows when
he should be going to church on Sunday's. John stays out at night just so he can get his crops and
stuff done. I like john, also work hard. I help my dad build roofs, steps, decks, etc. On the other
hand, I help my dad work on cars and fix them. I love helping my dad and building stuff.
Stubbornness, hard working and being an outcast are three of the traits that me and John Proctor
have in common. Because of these similar personality characteristics, I believe that I would have

Money Solving Problems In Hinton's The Outsiders
Money Doesn't solve problems Have you ever wondered if money could solve your problems? Well,
from my point of view, money can only do so much such as giving you items, etc. But, money for
sure can not give you feelings/happiness. From my perspective, I see that even though the socs may
be rich they have a lot more troubles and are more broken while someone else, might see since the
greasers are poor or don't have a lot of money so that makes it harder for them. Furthermore, Socs
have it tougher than greasers because, when the greasers have it tough they have their best friends to

will make things worse. Also, the greasers may not have money but ... Show more content on

Analysis Of Digging By Seamus Heaney
The Aesthetic Movement, as exemplified by the poem "Digging," by Seamus Heaney ", seems more
about the speaker is uplifting and proud when compared to the poem "Terrence, this is Stupid
Stuff...". The images of the two poems are different that they almost demand a different set of rules
dealing with their creation. It is impossible for us as readers to completely agree and disagree that
both poems talk about how they can relate to art, but the big question is how these poems have
different meaning but end up being the same concept of how they can relate to the movement of art.
Throughout these poems the piece of art that is shown is that poetry can be considered hard work
and it can be enduring. The poem "Digging," which is written by Seamus Heaney, the
speaker/narrator describes his father's and grandfather's work in digging for the farm and how
skilled they are. Later the speaker realizes that he will never be as skilled with a spade compared to
family members on the farm. The speaker intends to become a poet and since he intends to be a poet
instead of a farmer he still would like to "dig" but with his pen instead. Throughout the poem
Seamus Heaney uses plenty things of imagery. Heaney communicates the overall theme of
determination, the advantages of hard work, and the importance of loyalty to and respect for one's
family. The poem "Digging" relates to the theme of art by showing that poetry can be just as hard
work as working on a potato farm and be a farmer.

Why Is It Important To Learn In English Class
English IV is a class you have to pass to graduate. This class is very important and will teach you

taught me to do my work and not play around. I learned that this stuff will be used if your plans are

Should College Student Athletes Get Paid?
Where's the Money When you come back from a long day of training either it be for basketball,
football, baseball, or really any sport. You are hungry and want to eat something good because you
worked hard all day. Not just on days that you are training but when you get done with a game,
match, or a race you want reward yourself. The main problem that college student–athletes have
with rewarding themselves is that they don't have any money most of the time. Knowing that they
already have to pay for tuition, books, and housing if they live in the dorms. Yes, students get grants,
and scholarships but what about the students that don't get grants or scholarships? Being a student–

for them to get straight A's or B's but look at what they can do. They wake up at like eight or nine

There are so many reasons why I'm such a great pharaoh like my stopping the Nile River from

my wishing for the Nile River to flood to let the banks never dry out. "What was the effect of that?",
you might say? Well, the flooding of the Nile River ended up having the farmlands flood. That was

Personal Narrative: Virgin Innovation
RAGBRAI is filled with traditions. There is the food (which I'm sure I'll touch on in a future post),
there are the Virgin innovation (I know I'll hit in a future post), and there are the "Loops". For my
first 3 trips out here there was only 1 "Loop". That one allowed wackos to take a perfectly crazy day
of riding 75 miles and turn it into an insane day of 100+. (I've done that one 3 times.) Last year they
added a second "Loop". Because this ride across Iowa is not hard enough this new loop is gravel.
Yep for those the least interested in an easy 50 mile day one can add 18 miles on gravel roads – on
road bikes. As I write this journal I am half done with this loop. I expected a hard packed gravel
farm road. Nope – someone just put down all new gravel. It would great road for a CAR!

My Michigan Hero: My Michigan Hero
1st hour
My Michigan Hero Most people think that heroes aren't real, but they are all around us. I remember
a time when my michigan hero would help me whenever I was wounded or bitter or wanted to give
up. She would motivate me. A hero is someone that can help you with whatever you are going
through. My michigan hero is my mom because she is hardworking for our family and she is
thoughtful and also very caring. My mom is my hero because she works hard for her family. my
mom will go out of her way to get us stuff. she gets us whatever we want and need even if it's hard
to get it. my mom is a hard working lady. she always works to get us the stuff we need. and to

Review Of The Poem The Living Exhibit Under The Museum's...
In "The Living Exhibit Under The Museum's Portal" poem written by, Santa Clara Nora Naranjo–
Morse it talks about how all the Indians from different tribes like the Cochiti, Zuni, and the Navajos
come together to sell all their handmade items such as Blankets, jewelry, pottery or pretty much
anything that they make. Most often these people go to jewelry shops and sell their stuff as a
wholesale, but that's if they're lucky because now a days it is so hard to sell jewelry due to all the
competition out there. There are so many people out there in different tribes that are very talented.
They have unique ways of making their stuff but sometimes a lot of people make pretty much the
same thing. If people can't sell their stuff they usually end ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net

It amazing to see how these things are passed on from generation to generation, and how many
people are willing to take on the challenge of trying to recreate something that was made years
before. It would be nice to keep my mother's sun face earrings and bracelet making legacy alive
when she is no longer able to do so. It think it would be a huge challenge because from the times
that I've seen her do her jewelry, it seems like a lot of hard work and skills. Skills that I don't think I
have, but it would be nice to certainly try. I'm pretty sure that I will fail miserably at trying to make
the jewelry my mother does because I am not a creative type of person and I've never been good at
these type of things. I hope she will teach me everything that I would need to do in order to make

Eulogy For Father
At first, my mom and my dad both had lived in the DR for a while before coming to the U.S with
their family. After them moving to New York and not knowing each other my mom and dad
attended the same school. Then they were going to high school where they started being friends and
after a year or so goes by they get together. After graduating high school they both went to college.
But they had me, got married and my dad left college to work hard to support for us. Then my dad
left college to look out after me, but after three years later they had my sister. My sister and I got
close, but my dad taught us how to be clean. So every day after school, I'll do my homework, clean
and I would never like my room dirty. So I thank him for that because

Space exploration is dangerous for human because it will take a long time and when you landed on
earth you will have to adjust on earth again and you will have a hard time walking again. You will
have to adjust to the gravity on earth. They will have to re adjust to earth. You will have to re learn

hand–eye coordination balance locomotion and you're likely to experience motion sickness. Space

is we don't know everything about the earth yet. I think NESA should make a spaceship that will

Kinesthetic Differences
As a learner, the category that fits me the most is Kinesthetic. I need to move around to learn, and it
just helps my brain function. I usually tap my foot or moving around in my seat, or, when I'm able
to, moving around the classroom. I don't know why moving around helps me, It just keeps me
focused on whoever is talking or if somebody is presenting something, and if I'm sitting down, I will
fidget a bit. Sitting down too long will result in my getting very antsy and needing to move around.
1st goal – I want to be a better inquirer. I will do that by trying to learn stuff. 2nd goal – I want to do
better in S.S. I will do that by studying more. 3rd goal – I want to join a club. I will do that by

The Nacirema: The Pursuit of 'The Black Stuff' Miner (1956) discussed the body rituals among the
Nacirema. The Nacirema are human beings, just like all other humans. They bleed, they love, they
are born, and they die. However, for some reason, the Nacirema consider themselves a special breed
of humans. This belief is so ingrained in their traditions and cultures that some have taken it to the
extreme. Scholars have argued that the Nacirema's inflated sense of pride stems from the greatness
of their ancestors. They descended from a great group of warriors who came together and agreed on
the future of their descendants. This essay will examine the Nacirema's obsession with oil and how
this informs their aggressive behavior. The Nacirema are obsessed

It Doesn T Sane To Make-Up Myth
As followers of Christ, we know it isn't sane to make up stuff and call the made–up stuff true.
Suppose someone does believe it's sane to make up stuff and call it true. Imagine a dogmatic thinker
who insists that it's sane to make up stuff and call the made–up stuff true. Though determined, how
does that person know that his or her own made–up stuff is any better than anyone else's made–up
stuff? Although it may be hard to believe, this is the simplicity of the problem: all fallacy is rooted
in untruth, and all error is rooted in made–up stuff. And even though this is a simple problem, there
are many tricky ways to hide this problem. So we'll have a detailed look at these tricks before we're
done. And we'll expose many of the ways the human ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
And an axiom is an assumption, is a supposition, is an unproved claim. Correspondingly, making up
stuff and calling the made–up stuff true is the axiomatic thinking fallacy. Yet the word "axiom"
almost sounds real. That's deceptive. Axioms aren't real. In reality, axioms are things that people
make up and call true. On the contrary, made–up stuff isn't real. This is why we'll use the term
"made–up stuff." We only use the term "made–up stuff" for one reason: to be clear since using this
term eliminates a lot of confusion. Because it's surprising how many people get confused when
other terms are used. Then they don't realize that these other terms mean the same thing as the term
"made–up stuff." Since ungodly thinking is based on axioms, ungodly thinkers make up stuff and
call the made–up stuff true. It's important to realize that those ungodly thinkers usually wouldn't
state it that way but usually find a way to make this kind of thinking seem sane. Although this way
of thinking isn't sane. So different synonyms are often used for "made–up stuff." And the synonyms
sound reasonable. These synonyms sound better than "made–up stuff." They aren't any better, but
they sound better. Here are some words that mean "made–up

Right Stuff Research Papers
I believe the "Right Stuff" is a mix of courage, perseverance, ingenuity, passion for what is being
done, and resilience. It takes courage to use ingenuity to go against the tide. It takes passion to use
courage to persevere and continue through the toughest of times. And it takes resilience to be able to
take many failures and persevere to eventually succeed. I believe that one of the people we should
nominate for having the "Right Stuff" is Samuel Pierpont Langley. He had a passion for flight ever
he created the Astrophysical Observatory at the Smithsonian. He began by rigorously studying birds
in flight, just like the Wright Brothers did at about the same time. He had the courage to accept

It might have succeeded in achieving its goal, it still didn't have the "right stuff". The prize we
should award is a medal with a bird on it. An essential thing for a plane to fly anywhere except
windy places is a system of flaps (or High Lift Devices). They are a simple version of thrust
vectoring, which basically is how gasses are moved in a certain direction to move something in a
certain direction. As flaps, they move air down and back, providing lift and a small amount of
thrust. Another problem with the Flyer is that only the wings are covered by fabric. The wooden
posts on the outside succumb to vortex shedding. That is when air hits any cylindrical object and
forms vortexes of spinning air behind it. That causes violent, uncontrollable swaying, which can
cause a plane to spiral out of control and become unable to be recovered. The final flaw was that it
had a forward elevator. Had the elevator been positioned at the back, it would be easier to control
and would let the plane climb higher without stalling. This would be of more use to the military, and
might even have saved Selfridge, the highest ranking official with such a great knowledge of
aeronautics at the time, had it been added. That would get them the contract, and all of their hard
work would pay

Week 5 Assignment
5s Project I will start by introducing the project that I decided to do for 5s assignment. The 5s
project which it is a method that many companies use to organize their workplace to make it more
effective and useful for their employees. For example, at my work we already have 5s implemented
and it is working great so far. It is easy to identify tools that we the employees need in the daily
basis and we all collaborate to keep it sustainable. However, since at my work we are pretty good on
this project and there are not more areas where I can take the opportunity to implement 5s I decided
to do 5s to my storage house. Honestly, my storage is messy since we have purchased it couple of
years a go. We decided to store everything in our storage, without organizing it. So, I ... Show more

I have created a 5s audit form where every month my wife and I will audit the storage to make sure
everything stays the same. Especially the Toy area, since we will be adding and taking toys, strollers
jumpers according to kid's age and need. This area will be important to sustain, since it's the highest
cluttering area with high demand on toys with toddlers running in the backyard. Keeping this area
within 5S requirement is going to be a challenge. Overall, the project was excellent to do it because
of two reasons, one I was able to do my own 5s project that helped to have a better understanding of
the entire process and two that now I have an organized storage where I will be able to have more
space. Now that I performed this project I feel that I'm taking the right direction on being lean, even
though my storage is not a business firm or a company where lean can be applied I now know that
this is the first step of my experience in lean and maintaining control of 5s process so later in the
near future I can apply this project anywhere I get the opportunity to

My Biggest Mistake I never knew when it started, this obsession. Didn't even realize how slowly

much what other people think of me? Now that I think about it, it baffles me how I slowly and
steadily from being an individual who preaches about being different suddenly became someone
who just wanted to fit in to other people's expectations. And suddenly I feel I woke up to realize
what kind of a slave I had become. Well to start up on my mistakes, my first one was ever thinking

like my boards. But who knew I had already screwed this up to by constantly living in loathing and

The Things They Carried: A True War Story
Charlie Meyer 6/20/18 Freshman English (CP) Final Mrs. Moffat The Things They Carried – War
Story Why is it so hard to tell a true war story? The Things They Carried is a novel containing
various stories from the Vietnam War. These stories are often about the challenges of the war,
however the chapter¨How To Tell A True War Story¨ repeatedly states the challenges of telling a
truthful and accurate war story. Written by Tim O'Brien, in The Things They Carried, questioning,
morals, and qualities reveal the difficulties in telling a true war story. In O´Brien´s first story, ¨The
Things They Carried¨, he tells the story in a simple narrative structure: exposition, conflict, heroic
exploit, resolution. It's almost as if O´Brien is explaining ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net

The qualities of a war story are what can separate accurate account of battle from Hollywood action
movies. ¨You can tell a true war story by the way it never seems to end. Not then, Not ever. Not
when Mitchell Sanders stood up and moved off into the dark.¨ (72). To the average reader and a
potential ¨non–expert¨, war is often repetitive and seems never ending. It makes it difficult to get to
the point of the story, to convey the questionable moral of the story. At this point in the novel,
Sanders is annoyed with the fact that when he attempts to tell O´Brien his stories, he never gets all
of the details correct. In order to accurately explain a true war story, you need all of the facts. It
could potentially be difficult to remember all of the facts, which is why people add (as previously
stated), normal stuff. To create qualities of a story that demonstrate the ending idea. ¨And in the end,
of course, a true war story is never about war... It's about love and memory. It's about sorrow. It's
about sisters who never write back and people who never listen.¨ (81). The point of writing a war
story is never about war, it's about people that are caught up the war. It's about the people and their
memories as well as their sadness. This shows that it is never easy to tell a true war story because
war stories are always about the deeper meaning. It is difficult to show the deeper meaning because

Why Kids Should Not Work Research Paper
I think kids should work and do chores around the house to earn money because it teaches them to
be responsible and even have that skill as they grow up. In my opinion just giving them money as an
allowance and them not having to work for it doesn't teach them a lot to be more responsible so just
giving it to them makes them think "well we can money whenever I don't have to work for it" but
that's just what I think it's not teaching them any responsibility and they won't have that skill for
themselves in the future.
Working and doing chores and other activities can really help you in your past and if you want to
have some money I think doing that stuff will make that happen it's good for kids. Now days lots of
kids get what they want from their parents but I grew up in a house where you have to work for
something it's not just given so my siblings and I work hard to get the stuff we want and that teaches
us a lot and it really does help us. Manner and skill wise being told to do stuff makes you more
likely to have the skills as you get older and they build up throughout the time you ... Show more

Mind And Its Relationship With The Mind
Mind and Its Relation to the Brain How to define minds has always been a challenge for the "lovers
of wisdom" since the advent of modern philosophy. The mind is arduous to define because it is
incorporeal and the only person knowing its existence is its owner. That is; the mind differs from
those familiar physical stuffs which can easily be defined in terms of their characteristics. Facing the
thorny problem, the debate between dualists and physicalists about the nature of mind and its
relationship with the body is becoming intense. In this paper I will maintain that the
epiphnomenalism is not "repugnant", but rather it is squat and resilient would be the best theory to
illustrate the relationship between mind and body. The paper ... Show more content on

In other words, the physical activity can influence the mental but the mental stuff can never affect
the physical stuff in turn. Such definition of mind neatly explains that the mind is a kind of an
excrescence of the physical activity in the mind. Likewise, Frank Jackson takes Fred's story as an
familiar example to explain that experience is hard to obtain even one have all the physical
information, and indicate the such qualia problem is missed by physicalist. In this case,
Epiphenomenalism can be used in dualism to argue that there is a connection between physical
action and the mental activity. That is; Epiphenomenalism divides a complete action into three parts.
One's actions are determined by the physical action of the central body in the mind. During this
process, the physical activities also cause the epiphenomena we call ideas. Besides,
Epiphenomenalism is also a controversial topic in the dualism, since the mind in Epiphenomenalism
is not only is a non–spatial stuff, but also is an epiphenomenon of physical action in the brain. That
is why the most dualists claims that it is unacceptable to think of the mind as "a causally impotent
by–products of brain activities." But it does not mean that the mind is superfluous belongings. Frank
Jackson says that the mental stuff as the same as the "heavy coat" which is the flaw but also is

years. Everyday failing for five years. " This example reveals how hard he was working for five
years of pure failure and didn't give up on what he wanted to be in his future. This reveals the theme
of the text because it shows how hard he worked even tho he was failing while his first 5 years in
the writing process he felt like he will wake up one day as a good writer and that can make
interesting books for people to read them. For him hard work paid of very well later on in his life. In

Rhetorical Analysis Of A Commercial

  • 1. Rhetorical Analysis Of A Commercial In Mrs. Smith's English class we are making commercials that have to do with ethos, pathos, and logos and we have to make a commercial. We had to find a person that we can make seem like everyone else but at the same time be the person they are themselves. For my commercial I did a video of a guy named Bill Pidgeon and how he was running for president. I had to make things up so everyone would like him and not just one group of people. Doing this project was actually more fun than I thought, but what can really get you is if you work with a partner. You better make sure that both of you do a lot of work on it and don't just goof off, like Mrs Smith says before you start. In this unit it's all about how politicians use the words that ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... The easy parts of this essay are at the start when you're not doing a lot, but looking for adds on the computer, and doing different stuff on packets like, find a video or ethos, pathos, and logos and tell how you seen those three in the video. When starting the project you will think that it is going to be easy and actually I really is and when you start to get deeper into it may get hard, but that is when Mrs Smith can really help you on what you need to do and how to do it the easy way where it is faster, easier, and better. This project can be easy if you know all the stuff about computer or have done this before because it is almost done on all computers and done by using the computer and that is part of the reason why it was easy because the computer could help you with it if you want to edit the commercial. Other than all the hard parts and the easy parts of this project, it is a fun project to do if you are a person who loves computers or not. The project does have a lot of fun into it when you want it ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...

If I Quit Research Paper Yes I would have quit because that would be a lot of stress and it would be very bad beaue ur freezing and getting sick, getting frost bite and all the other stuff and I wouldn't be use to it because i'm used to being able to go inside and get warm and wear a new pair of clothes everyday. Im also used to eating whenever I want and stuff and not even worry about when i can and when I can't. It would be crazy because you know i just wouldn't be use to the stuff that you would have to do. Now maybe if i done that for a long time i might not quit because i'm already use to being there doing stuff on a certain time and at a certain point and stuff like that. It would also be hard because you have to buy the food and stuff from the certain people. ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... The lower prices are closer so it takes no time but it cost alot to buy the food. If I didn quit i would hope to be the dude building the log huts cause then you wouldn't have to do much but go cut down the trees and make little indentations in it so it doesn't roll off each other and the house fall apart and if someone is in there then someone be dead or be very injured. It would be hard but it would be more easy than any other thing. It would be also hard because you want the trees to be hollow in the middle so it would last a while and not rot out so you can keep them up for a lot longer. Being a soldier while all of this stuff happening would be very hard because now that its winter they got sicknesses going around everyone is getting frost bite and a lot of other bad stuff and even depending on how long thy have been there they might be running out of food ... You have to go to open house, go shopping, and, the worst part, you have to get back in your normal school routine. Fortunately, (sometimes) itś easy. Except for the routine, because thatś kind of hard. So first, you have to go to open house. You have to get your schedule, find your locker, meet your teacher, and find all your classes. You also have to bring all the school supplies for all your classes, such as paper or tissues. When you find your locker, you have to put your stuff in it if you, have them. You can also decorate it. • 5. Basketball Court Research Paper The Basketball Court Damian Lillard once said, "Whenever I'm on the court, I feel like I'm making a statement and a case that I belong." That quote says a lot about the feeling on the court; however, what I see and hear is what gets me those feelings, and what I feel gives me the drive for success. The more and more I drive towards success in the game of basketball the more people I meet and the more motivation and inspiring I get from those people. The stuff that I see on the court, playing and practicing, gives me motivation to be a better athlete. I see players bonding over the same love for the game. I hear the dribbling of the basketball that is just music to my ears. Each and every player are encouraging and motivating each other by saying stuff like, "Nice shot!" "Work Hard!" and "Don't quit!" The sound of the net after shots made gives me chills. Out of all the sounds I hear on the court; the net makes the best sound. While on the court the squeak of the players shoes, one after another gives me this beat I play over and over again. During games, the defense talking, and working hard to get the stop. All I hear makes me want to get back on the court as soon as I can. After I'm on the court and I see and hear all those things I get these feelings that I feel no where else. As I'm working hard and improving on my skills all I feel is adrenaline rushing through me. I feel the need to improve my game and I need to give it my all every second I'm on the court. I can just feel my heart beating 100 miles per hour. When I am on the court have this feeling that surrounds me and makes me feel like I am meant to be here. Every time I am huddled around my team I feel the "family" part of basketball. The stuff I feel gives me the urge to improve my game. • 7. Jack London's The King Of Mazy May Jack London, the Author of The King of Mazy May, is an American novelist, journalist, and social activist. The King of Mazy May is a story about a boy named Walt Masters, who is trying to stop the Jumpers from taking people's claims from the Mazy May Creek in the Yukon. Walt overhears the claims and the Jumpers and decides to investigate. He sees the Jumpers and decides to spy on them, follow them, and tries to stay hidden. The Jumpers are the people who are looking for gold in the Yukon territory where Walt lives so they can get rich. Walt has been always on the Jumpers heels, and went to the creek, unharnessed the dogs, and Walt went to a camp. The King of Mazy May's theme is to not give up on what you do, because there might be some obstacles in the way, but you beat those obstacles and go even further than before. These are some things that The King of Mazy May can teach you about life. ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... The King of Mazy May teaches you not to give up, the reason why is that is because giving up isn't the answer to anything, you can do more than just give up and say you can't do it, there are people that believe in you, like your parents, friends, teachers, etc. Strive as they would, they could not shorten this distance, and strive as he would he could not increase it. 2. Size of a person doesn't determine what they are capable of. Second, size of a person doesn't determine what they are capable of. The reason is because in The King of Mazy May, Walt Masters may be very young, but he can do many things like a man, therefore size doesn't determine or matter what the person can do. • 8. NASA Vs Mars So, the topic for today is should we devote time and money to building a space–station on either the moon or mars. This topic, is a rather tricky one. It's somewhat hard because it would definitely take a very long time, and it would take a lot of recourses. It would also be slightly hard for, let's say NASA ( National Aeronautics and Space Administration ) to send more and more resources every time the newly colonized planet may need. They would definitely need some pretty high tech to ship stuff to us. So let's just jump into it. So, for the time AND patience it would take to colonize another planet, or the moon, it uh, it wouldn't be easy. It would first need to start by creating water and that's where it gets scientific. You would need to, i think burn carbons with hydrogens in oxygen to make H2O ( water ). I honestly dont know if that's how you'd do ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... to said station. In order for that to work, they'd need a rocket capable of traveling that far, for the resources to get there before anybody dies, or something. Before i go farther into detail, i'd like to clarify that i'm using mars as an example in this essay, just for clarification. You'd also want to be able to grow your own crops, easy little crops though. If you've ever seen the movie THE MARTIAN, you probably saw how he used his own...stuff...as a fertilizer, to grow potatoes. Then basically, more and more becomes as such, etc. etc., the planets colonized, done. You'd need to be able to make water, have the capability to receive resources, and grow your own as well. By the way, the movie was epic, and I believe with advances in technology and modern sciences, it could be possible to colonize mars, and travel there too. That would be key, to you know, TRAVEL to the planet first huh? Yeah, i figured so. I think that it be pretty cool to be able to live on mars, and have stuff shipped out to us, be able to grow stuff, ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...
  • 9. Fictional Narrative I spent the majority of seventh grade looking at the back of Ryan Caneda's head and sighing wistfully. He had all the trademarks of the Myspace generation and I loved him for it. Admittedly, the way his shiny brown hair swooped over one eye like an Anime hero was what intrigued me at first, but I knew I was caught: hook, line and sinker by the way he radiated mall–bought tween angst from every pore of his being. All the Spencer's Gifts and Hot Topic stores in the world could convince me less of his profound individualism. I often spent my allotted hour of Internet searching for, then copying and pasting song lyrics into my online profile in order to trumpet the depth and anguish of my troubled soul, hoping to impress him. I dyed my hair pink and purple to match my "edgy" new style of dress, one akin to Ryan's ratty band t–shirts and tight jeans. I noted with quiet fascination that he sometimes smelled like weed and beer, which made me fall even deeper in love with him because how dangerous. It was safe to say that 99% of my actions and reactions during this time were based on what Ryan would think if he were there with me. Conversely, there were a few people in my life who did not feel as enamored with Ryan. While my parents saw my burgeoning pubescence as a time that they should allow me to engage in self–expression, my best friend, Nicole and her mother, Robin took it upon themselves to point out that my recent interests were of the devil. • 11. Comparison Of Family In Alice Walker's 'Everyday Use' Tajanique Bellamy Ms.Potter ELA 2A CP/3rdPeriod Sept. 8, 2017 Family Comparisons Most families share similar issue. Regardless of race, wealth, or even religion, all families, at some point, hardships or even joys to share. In Alice Walker's "Everyday Use" a family is force to face issues caused by poverty, misunderstandings, and separations. Momma, Maggie, and Dee all seems to appreciate their heritage, but the problem is that they do not view the same way. This lack of understanding is universal. In "Everyday Use" the family shares similarities and differences with my family concerning the disrespect, sibling relationships, and hard working parents. One similarity shared between my family and the short story's family involves disrespect. For an example, the oldest Daughter is very disrespectful. In the story it says "she walked up to me and kissed me on forehead" (2). That is disrespectful because that is an adult not your child. That is similar because I use to kiss my mother and my Grandmother on the cheek and For some reason my uncle said to stop learned not to disrespect because I was on the verge of loosing them both and that really hurts. Another example of the disrespect is that "Dee was rifling threw Maggie's trunk at the end of the bed"(3). That is disrespect because she did not and her and didn't know if she had personal stuff in there, that compares to my little sister she is always going threw my stuff and touching my stuff without my permission its aggravating and very disrespectful. The last example of the disrespect is when momma called her Dee and she says "no momma not Dee Wangero Leewanika Kemanjo and "momma asked her what where Dee go" Dee said she is dead" to me that is disrespect because that name was passed own to her from her aunts and grandmother's. That compares to my little sister because my mom calls my sister by her real name but she doesn't like her real name and my sister kept saying she don't like that name, stop calling her that, and if my mom kept calling her that she wasn't going to answer to her so she had to go to sleep early and wash her own Landry which she didn't know how to do, the point is to not talk back to your mother like she's an friend its not cool or ... This quote was said by John Proctor, a character from The Crucible, while he was in the process of accusing Abagail of being a liar and telling the court about their affair. John Proctor is a character in The Crucible that had an affair with Abigail Williams. He doesn't go to church and plows his fields on Sunday's. John Proctor and I have some personality traits in common in the we are stubborn, an outcast and a hardworking person. Both John Proctor and I display our stubbornness in different ways. I am more of a tomboy than I am a girly girl. I actually go quad riding, fishing, hunting, mudding, etc. I enjoy hanging with the guys. That's how I'm an outcast like John Proctor. The last characteristic that I can relate to Proctor is that we are both hard working. John Proctor is also a hard worker like I am. John doesn't care what day it is because he plows when he should be going to church on Sunday's. John stays out at night just so he can get his crops and stuff done. I like john, also work hard. I help my dad build roofs, steps, decks, etc. On the other hand, I help my dad work on cars and fix them. I love helping my dad and building stuff. • 17. Analysis Of Digging By Seamus Heaney The Aesthetic Movement, as exemplified by the poem "Digging," by Seamus Heaney ", seems more about the speaker is uplifting and proud when compared to the poem "Terrence, this is Stupid Stuff...". The images of the two poems are different that they almost demand a different set of rules dealing with their creation. It is impossible for us as readers to completely agree and disagree that both poems talk about how they can relate to art, but the big question is how these poems have different meaning but end up being the same concept of how they can relate to the movement of art. Throughout these poems the piece of art that is shown is that poetry can be considered hard work and it can be enduring. The poem "Digging," which is written by Seamus Heaney, the speaker/narrator describes his father's and grandfather's work in digging for the farm and how skilled they are. Later the speaker realizes that he will never be as skilled with a spade compared to family members on the farm. The speaker intends to become a poet and since he intends to be a poet instead of a farmer he still would like to "dig" but with his pen instead. Throughout the poem Seamus Heaney uses plenty things of imagery. Heaney communicates the overall theme of determination, the advantages of hard work, and the importance of loyalty to and respect for one's family. The poem "Digging" relates to the theme of art by showing that poetry can be just as hard work as working on a potato farm and be a farmer. The poem ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...

Correspondingly, making up stuff and calling the made–up stuff true is the axiomatic thinking fallacy. Yet the word "axiom" almost sounds real. That's deceptive. Axioms aren't real. In reality, axioms are things that people make up and call true. On the contrary, made–up stuff isn't real. This is why we'll use the term "made–up stuff." We only use the term "made–up stuff" for one reason: to be clear since using this term eliminates a lot of confusion. Because it's surprising how many people get confused when other terms are used. It might have succeeded in achieving its goal, it still didn't have the "right stuff". The prize we should award is a medal with a bird on it. An essential thing for a plane to fly anywhere except windy places is a system of flaps (or High Lift Devices). They are a simple version of thrust vectoring, which basically is how gasses are moved in a certain direction to move something in a certain direction. As flaps, they move air down and back, providing lift and a small amount of thrust. Another problem with the Flyer is that only the wings are covered by fabric. The wooden posts on the outside succumb to vortex shedding. That is when air hits any cylindrical object and forms vortexes of spinning air behind it. That causes violent, uncontrollable swaying, which can cause a plane to spiral out of control and become unable to be recovered. The final flaw was that it had a forward elevator. Had the elevator been positioned at the back, it would be easier to control and would let the plane climb higher without stalling. This would be of more use to the military, and might even have saved Selfridge, the highest ranking official with such a great knowledge of aeronautics at the time, had it been added. The Things They Carried is a novel containing various stories from the Vietnam War. These stories are often about the challenges of the war, however the chapter¨How To Tell A True War Story¨ repeatedly states the challenges of telling a truthful and accurate war story. Written by Tim O'Brien, in The Things They Carried, questioning, morals, and qualities reveal the difficulties in telling a true war story. Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... The qualities of a war story are what can separate accurate account of battle from Hollywood action movies. ¨You can tell a true war story by the way it never seems to end. Not then, Not ever. Not when Mitchell Sanders stood up and moved off into the dark.¨ (72). To the average reader and a potential ¨non–expert¨, war is often repetitive and seems never ending. It makes it difficult to get to the point of the story, to convey the questionable moral of the story. At this point in the novel, Sanders is annoyed with the fact that when he attempts to tell O´Brien his stories, he never gets all of the details correct. In order to accurately explain a true war story, you need all of the facts. It could potentially be difficult to remember all of the facts, which is why people add (as previously stated), normal stuff. To create qualities of a story that demonstrate the ending idea. ¨And in the end, of course, a true war story is never about war... It's about love and memory. It's about sorrow. It's about sisters who never write back and people who never listen.¨ (81). The point of writing a war story is never about war, it's about people that are caught up the war.
