2. School premises
Our school is located in North-West
Rome, district 14, a populated
residential quarter. We are 10
kilometers away from the Vatican and
well connected to the center via a train
line which is 10 minutes walking
distance from the school.
The premises of our school are quite
unusual, for Roman standards,
comprising of 4 separate buildings,
which house classrooms, staffrooms,
offices, labs, a library and a bar which
provides us with refreshments as the
school does not have a canteen, plus a
gym, external basketball court and 5-a-
side football pitch.
3. Learning environment
Each classroom is equipped with
laptop pc with internet connection,
overhead projector and interactive
whiteboard.
Students can access multimedia,
science, chemistry, language, art labs.
Among the extra-curricular activities
and clubs offered by the school,
students can choose IT and language
courses, astronomy club, drama club,
several humanities workshops.
4. A green school
We are a school with a strong green
ethos, despite the urban location.
In fact, our Liceo is surrounded by
fields and immersed in a protected
natural park. Within the school
premises there are tall trees, lawns
and gardens, which are looked after
by the ‘ecology club’, made up of
volunteers from student body and
teachers.
5. Our curriculum
We are a Secondary School specialised
in scientific studies. An emphasis is
placed on subjects such as Maths,
Sciences, Physics, however the
curriculum is varied including also Latin,
Italian, ESL, History, Art History,
Philosophy.
At the end of year 5, students sit a
national exam to get their diploma.

school, such as scientific olympics,
university seminars and masterclasses,
as well as sport tournments.
