1. Welcome to the school in Tuławki!
The Primary School in Tuławki is situated 15 km near
Olsztyn - the capital city of Warmia and Mazury district
(the greenest area in Poland).
It is a small and country school with about
160 students and 23 teachers.
Children learn English and German.
Our school building is very beau ful with a new
playground. There are a fully equipped kitchen, a canteen, a
library and a gym. We have got an own school bus so we
have good condi ons for teenagers' exchange.

2o GENIKO LYKEIO NEAS IONIAS MAGNISIAS in Volos is located
in Nea lonia, a suburb of the city of Volos, in central Greece. Our
school is a general high school with 35 teachers of various special es
and approximately 300 students - a medium sized school for the
Greek standards.The age range of our students is from 15 to 18 years old.
The school provides a General Day Senior High School curriculum, as
defineci by the Greek Ministry of Educa on. in the1 st class (10th
grade) the curriculum provides general educa on, while in the 2nd
class (11 th grade) the curriculum is more specialized in terms of
students' preferences. in the 3rd class (12th grade) the curriculum
provides school subjects which prepare students almost en rely for
the na onal exams so as to entrer the University of their preference.
The school subjects taught throughout the 3-year courses can be
divided in 3 major categories: Humanitarian Studies, Science & Health
Studies, Economics & lnforma cs Studies. in this way a wide range of
carreer choices opens up mul ple perspec ves for university studies
and search for a place in the labor market.
A significant number of students belong to disadvantageous social
groups (roma, unmarried mother, immigrants) and there is an
increasing rate of refugee children influx in the school during the last 3
years. it is noted that these students show par cular learning profiles
and their needs in educa on are considered special. Addi onally, they
need strong mo va on ,coaching, self confidence reinforcement and
empoewring as they are at high risk of abandoning school.
To this end, the school is constantly trying to develop strategies so as
to confront these challenges, but also to create a student-friendly
environment for all its students. The school has imlemented more than
20 European Erasmus projects: 15 School Exchange Partnerships
(Ka229), 7 Strategic Partnerships for school educa on (KA201). Also,
the school is ac ve in Art, Sports and Student Science Compe ons
and events on a na onal level.

2. Ins tut Guillem Catà is a public secondary school in
Manresa, near Barcelona. On offer, there is
compulsory secondary educa on, post compulsory
educa on, and also voca onal training courses. We
have a total of 1050 students and 110 staff
members.
Our most important objec ve, among others, is to
prepare our students for a highly demanding society
within the framework of European values of
democracy, solidarity and equality.
We strive to implement an ac ve pedagogical
approach, based on Project Based Learning
principles, in order to s mulate the students'
scien fic curiosity, crea vity and cri cal thinking.

Our school is located in a small village called Bukwałd
near Olsztyn in the region of Warmia and Mazury. It is an
area of great tourist a rac ons with many lakes and forests.
In our school there are eight classes, 58 students aged 6-
15 and 17 teachers. We also have a pre-school unit with
15 children aged 3-6. Students learn different subjects
such as Polish, Mathema cs, Biology, PE, IT and many more.
The school consists of two buildings and eight classrooms.

Our school recently celebrated its 200 anniversary. The
beginnings of the school in Bukwałd date back to 1820. It
was an elementary school. At that me, it was a ended
by 31 students who could read Polish, although it was a
school with German as the language of instruc on.
One of our aims is to create friendly and home
atmosphere. We strive to educate our students in a way
which will enable them being self-dependent, crea ve and
resourceful in their future lives. Our students can count on
individual support in terms of educa on and
psychological approach.
