2. Our school (10th High school) is located in
Heraklion city, in the municipal apartment
of “Deilina”.

3.  The school has almost 200 students, who attend
courses for three years.
 In A’ class they get some general education in
subjects, such as Science, Greek and foreign
languages, History , P.E..
 In B’ class they have to choose between theoretical
and science courses.
 In C’ class they are being prepared in order to sit
national exams for entering the university.

4. There are 10 classrooms in the school. It has got a modern
computer lab, which is used for computer science and school
projects and a lab for physics and chemistry with advanced
equipment.

5. The gym is used for P.E. and events such as
school celebrations and lectures.

6. The library includes computers and α reading room.

8. Our school has implemented numerous activities in the last years:
 1. Environmental education
 2. Educational programs about ancient theatres
 3. Educational trips

9. Students performed a chorus
of Sofocles’ tragedy.

10. Our school is especially sensitized in matters such as
health, first aid, racism, bullying so we accomplish
informative lectures with the help of scientists.
