3. Research
• The strengths of my research were that it gave me time to full
evaluate other magazines and see what they had on them ad
how they can stand out enough for other people to want to
read them, I also looked at the styles for different ages and
this helped for me to find out which style I most wanted to
use and for what age range I was thinking about using and
came with the idea of to do a more adult magazine, as it is
more simplistic and is easier to write as it is in the form o how
a adult would write it or someone my age and not a younger
kid.
• Only weakness I could find is that only a few of the magazines
I could find met what I was going for and it was hard to do my
magazine without copying any there magazines already out.
4. Planning
• Similar to the research the strengths was the range
of magazines I could find in my mood board I also got
to experiment and find the perfect type of magazine
to do.
• The planning really helped my for finding the right
designs and colours and gave me two front pages I
could work with
• The weakness of it was that with the amount of ideas
I had in my mind map all interested me and was hard
to pick the perfect one.
5. Time Management
• I managed my time really well I found that I was
ahead of the deadlines and completed everything
well. I didn’t use a time schedule that I made as I was
working quicker than it and I didn’t like using it as it
effect how much I could do.
• maybe I should have slowed down a little bit as I was
off beat.

The layout is totally different separate
pictures of the girls.
This is more of a biography to there
life but mine is about the break up.
8. Aesthetic Qualities
I personally think that mine is really nice and I think that it meets what I wanted.
I donyt think its as good as some of the other magazines but I still think I have
met the target of getting a simple look. I think if I could do it again I would have
gone and downloaded some better text that looks nicer.
9. Audience Appeal
I did it simple as
some people prefer
simple magazines
when there is so
much going on it can
put people off
I used a big named artist as
my front cover as when they
see Rihanna they know
automatically that its such a
popular artist that they will
think if she is on it then it
must be a good magazine.
Because of the type of
magazine it is it
appeals to people
older than 15 s it has
more of an adults
tone to it

• What did you like about the product? Like this
simplicity of the work and wasn’t too busy
also it was filled with loads of information.
• What improvements could have been made to
the product? More variety of pictures that fit
the background a little more.

nude colours on the writing on the spread and
on the front page I liked how the name was on
the person as it shows who she is.

the product? Capitals and spelling.

how the heading goes down the side and not
the top because it makes it different.

the product? Distort the writing so that it is
different and quirky.

• What do you agree with from your peer
feedback? I agree with all of it as its things
that I found a little frustrating but didn’t know
if it was noticeable or how to solve it.

feedback? Nothing stands out to me really as
something to disagree with I think its all
relevant.
15. Peer Feedback Summary
I would probably change the colour o the background to a
nude colour as it would fit the theme more also nude it
simplistic and makes it fresh. I might have if more pictures
of the girls in a group of four was available I would try and
find one that fits the colours of the other pictures.
Id make sure to double check for spelling and punctuation
so it makes sense.
I would try and experiment wit different types of
positioning and font styles and maybe use a different pallet
of colours.
