The document provides planning details for a magazine layout and photo shoot. It outlines two potential layout designs, with descriptions of where images, text, and other elements would appear. It also lists the equipment, locations, and models needed for the shoot. Potential issues are identified along with solutions, such as keeping backup copies of work and photos to avoid losing files. Health and safety precautions are also discussed, such as avoiding electric shocks, falling, and eye strain.
3. Layout 1
Red- image will cover this area
Light blue- heading/ title of the
magazine
Dark blue- bar code
Green- the cover lines of the magazine
to tell you what will be in the
magazine.
For my heading I want it to stand out
really well so I will want to use vibrant
bold colours, I have to make this work
with my image as my image will effect
the colours I can use. This will be
because I will need a colour that
stands out on the image without
getting lost in it but also work with the
image as well otherwise I will have a
colour that will stand out but not work
on the image. I also need my cover
lines to do the same thing so maybe
either use the same colour as my
heading or one that molds well with
it.

4. Layout 2
Opening text Image of fighting
Ending textImage of healthy eating
title
Green- text where I will talk
about the content of the
magazine
Red- will be the title of the
magazine I want it in the middle
to have something different
from other magazines I have
done in the past
Purple- here I will put images of
the model doing MMA and then
eating a healthy meal.
The colour of the title will have
to coordinate with the images
this will be difficult as the two
images will be different but if I
plan my photoshoot well I can
find and add colours that are
similar in each one to help make
it easier to calibrate it all
together. I also don’t want the
text to be boring so I want
exciting but easy to read font.

6. Contingency Planning
Potential Issue Solution
Lose SD card Make sure you keep the SD card in a save area where
it will be easily found and try and upload the content
up on to a computer as quick as possible so that if the
card does get lost you already have the images
somewhere
Lose memory stick Make sure you always keep a back up of your work on
one drive or sent to your email so that if you do lose it
you will still have all your work backed up.
Work wont save If the work isn't saving to certain things try and use
another method for example if it wont save to the
computer save to one drive if it wont send to one drive
save to a memory stick or email it to yourself.
Memory stick corrupts Always make sure you not just saving your work to a
memory stick as they are easily lost or corrupted so
make sure you save it somewhere to back it up.
Images are blurry or not in good enough quality Make sure your checking your images as you go so
that you don’t have to go back and do them again and
if something is not right change the settings to see if it
improves anything.
Computer crashes Make sure you're constantly saving your work so that
if it does crash you know you wont have lost too much
work, if using one drive it saves automatically so this
would be a good option to use.
7. Health and Safety
Potential Issue How will the issue be
avoided?
Electric shock Make sure water is well away from electrical objects
such as the computer and also report and don’t mess
with open wire.
Loose wire Make sure all wires are tucked away so that people or
yourself walking past don’t fall or trip over the wire.
Falling off chair Make sure you sit properly on he chair with your back
against the back rest so that if the chair is knocked you
will stay firmly on the chair.
Hurt while taking images In the training area where MMA takes place make sure
that you are in a large safe environment with nothing
dangerous to fall on or someone to fall or hurt you.
Weather conditions The time we will be taking the images will be hot
weather so make sure that you have sun screen on
and don’t stay out too long in the sun for the out door
shots cos this can lead to passing out or sun stroke.
Eye strain Make sure that if you need to wear glasses to wear
them and if you begin to feel strain on the eyes to turn
the brightness down and take regular breaks to
prevent eye damage or migraines/headaches.
Editor's Notes
Explore colours, fonts and image styles similar to what you want to produce. Discuss all three elements in relation to why you chose them and where you may use them in your project. Go over as many pages as you need to
