DEVELOPMENT PROGRAM

Who is a Contributor? 
Let’s see…
Non-contributor 
My shift timings are 
over…. I must rush 
home. A little 
garbage here will do. 
Contributor 
It’s my duty to keep this 
place clean. I must 
complete my work first 
then I’ll go.
A contributor should have the following 
qualities: 
Team spirit- a contributor should be able to 
unite all the team members. 
Creativity- he should be innovative 
Prediction- he should have future vision 
Honesty- he should be honest in his approach 
Communication skills- a contributor should be 
clear and loud to express himself 
Confidence- he should have confidence in 
himself and his team to fulfill their goal 
Ability to delegate- he should know which 
person is good in doing a particular task and 
should delegate accordingly
These were the qualities….. 
Now how about some examples?? 
Our team took a few interviews from a 
few contributors….
Let us meet Mr. Pawan kumar 
He is a Project planner in Synopsis and has made 
many beneficial pojects plans for his company. 
Q- Hello Mr Pawan. Who according to you is a 
contributor? 
Ans.- If you do your work not just for the sake of 
doing it but because you enjoy it or if you do it for 
others then you are contributor. 
Q- You have been a contributor yourself, how do 
you feel about it ? 
Ans.-Oh, I feel great. I feel as if taking part in other 
activities other than academics is also equally 
important because we can’t learn everything from 
books. 
Q- What do you say about contribution in a team? 
Ans.- If you are in a team, you should take care of 
one thing that when you contribute, you 
contribute not only for yourselves but also for you 
team.
Q- Any messages for the contributors and the non 
contributors? 
Ans.-first for the contributors- keep it up, you are doing 
a great job, 
and for the non contributors- wake up before it’s too 
late!
Now let us meet Mr. Virendra Yadav 
He is a Lecturer in Jivaji university Gwalior and 
also has his own tutorial . 
Q- Why being a contributor is important to you? 
Ans.- Being a contributor is not important, it’s fun 
and that’s why I am a contributor myself. 
Q- What did you learn from your contributions? 
Ans.-Learning anything new has always been my 
hobby. I learnt to coordinate with my team and 
use my managerial capabilities to the fullest. 
Q- If you have to make a team what qualities 
would you look for in your team members? 
Ans.- I would want my team members to be sincere 
and willing to do the task.
Q- and what do you think about having team spirit? 
Ans.- yes team spirit is must, unless you don’t have it you are not 
contributing correctly i.e. you contribute only towards yourself 
and not towards your team, so you lose at that part. 
Q-What suggestions do you want to give to the non-contributors 
sitting out there? 
Ans.- you just have to start taking interest in the activities that 
surround you and the rest will happen itself.
So what did we learn??? 
To become a contributor we should start taking 
interest in the activities in our lives 
Once you are interested and passionate you are 
bound to do good 
Once you do good, you are bound to be more 
interested and do better, and this continues…..
