2. Favorite Assignments
Study Habits: This was probably my top assignment choice as I learned valuable habits that I will
implement into my student life from now and on.
Scavenger Hunt: This assignment was time consuming, however I learned a lot of usual things at
Grayson that I never knew about.
Discussion board about stress: This discussion was a good way to release my feelings about
stress, and also learn new coping methods.
3. Favorite Journals
Journal 29: This journal allowed me to express some of the times I have felt frustrated, sad, and
happy. I feel like I learned that I am in full control of myself, and nobody can take that from me. I
also learned that I must take some time to make myself happy before others.
Journal 28: This journal showed me that I have a lot of self-respect, and I know how to say no to
things that could potentially harm me, or others. This is a skill that I really respect myself for
having, as it has saved me from a lot of trouble. It makes me proud that I can always know the
right thing to do, and it makes my parents proud as well.
Journal 8: At first I thought this journal entry was weird since I was practically talking to myself.
However, looking back, it made me realize a lot of my negative traits I have as a student. It taught
me that I need to take responsibility for my work and grades, and not blame it on anyone else.
4. Favorite Week
Of course my favorite week had to be this week, as it is the last week of work and I get to take a
break. It also allowed me to reflect back on my work, and I feel like I can be a better student from
here on out.
5. Three Lessons
Stress coping mechanisms: I will definitely NEED to carry these methods over, as I get stressed
really easily, and there will not be time to let stress affect my work.
Studying Habits: I need to form better studying habits, and I feel like I have enough tools now to
do so.
Time management: This class has taught me better time management, and how important it is to
not procrastinate.

Over the span of this course, my scores ultimately increased.
This shows me that I have grown as a student, and as a
person. One score that really changed for me was the
believing in myself score. It went up by 23 points, which is a
really good thing for me.
