2. Favorite Assignments
DAPPS Goal-Setting
I chose this assignment because I it
helped me set more reasonable
goals. It helps you realize that you
shouldn’t make your goals unrealistic.
The DAPPS system helps you plan
out your goals with a guideline, and
that’s what I like about it. It’s not so
vague on the details.
Blog Reflection
I liked this assignment because it
showed us how we don’t know what
we know, basically. It showed us that
we don’t really know how our brains
worked. It also told us that there are
different types of learning and that
you should find the best method of
learning for you.
Letter to the Next
Class
I liked this assignment because I got to
share how this class has helped me. I
also liked that this assignment because
it helped me reflect on how this class
has changed the way I study and do
homework. My favorite part is it helped
me realize how I want to be a better
person in life and school.
3. Favorite Journals
Journal 11
This was my personal favorite
because it let me see where I want to
be in my future. This journal is
motivating me to push through
school and get the career that I want.
No matter the struggles it takes to
get there.
Journal 13
I also liked this journal because it
showed me that I use my time
accordingly. Even though I did this
assignment over the weekend and I
didn’t do anything that had to do
with school, it showed that I can still
keep up with my school work and
have plenty of time to spend with my
family and friends.
Journal 28
This journal was really personal to me
because I have had a really hard time
making myself go to school. It was
one of the hardest obstacles that I
had to overcome because of how
hard it was to get to the college
ready point. Also helped me realize
that college has been the best life
choice I have made thus far.
4. Favorite Module
I liked this module because the video showed us that words are a major aspect in out
everyday lives. The way you talk to someone can impact their whole day. I liked the
way the lady changed the words on the blind guys sign and it changed everyone’s
perspective and he got more change.
Power of Words
5. Best assignments that I will carry with me
to the next semester
Scavenger Hunt
I chose this one solely because I will
need to know what is available to
students, and how I can use other
resources available to the students.
Module 3
I chose this one because it taught me
new ways to study and how to find
what way was best for me.
Module 4
I like this one because it taught me
that there are different styles of
learning, and you cant just depend
on your preferred way of learning.
6. Self-assessment
From the beginning of the semester to the end I can see where I have grown so much, mentally. I have stared
believing in myself a whole lot more. I have grown in the adopting lifelong learning area a bunch. I think my
favorite part is how much I have grown in the self management part.

7. Letter to the next class
My letter to the next class is specifically over procrastination. Because I know there
is at least one more person out there that is exactly like me. A person who needs
the motivation to do what needs to be done. Someone who can help them stop
procrastinating, and do what they need to do.
What I have learned from this course is that procrastination does nothing for you.
It can actually do more harm than good. After taking this class I no longer
procrastinate about things and I get things done in a timely manner. This course
has actually helped a lot with my daily life outside of school.
8. What my life looks like in 10 years
It is now 2026, I own my own house, not just an ordinary house, it’s humongous. I
have no kids, but I’m married to the most amazing man. I drive the most beautiful
Range Rover, and I have an extra car just for fun. I am the high school math teacher
for one of the best schools in the country. I have everything I’ve ever wanted and
needed in life. I couldn’t be happier.
