2. My three favorite assignments/discussions
Metacognition Discussion- I enjoyed this discussion because it helped me discover how I learn best.
It also showed me how to study effectively so that I fully understand the whole concept of an idea
rather than just facts. College looks for comprehension unlike high school.
Blog Reflection- This assignment showed me that I don’t know as much as I think I do. Although I
may think I know something, I could not give the concept when asked to explain. It taught me to
identify gaps in my learning so that I can fix them.
Stress Discussion- I liked this because it made me realize that I worry too much. If I worry about
things that are beyond my control, then I will not be able to enjoy life. It taught me how to control
my emotions so that I can live a stress-free and happy life.
3. My three favorite journal entries
Journal Entry 11- This entry helped me visualize my biggest dream. It gave me motivation, and I
realized that I will stop at nothing to achieve my goals. I learned that no matter what challenges
stand in my way, I will persevere through them.
Journal Entry 13- This assignment helped me discover how much time I am wasting on unimportant
activities. I do not spend as much time as I should doing things that will contribute to my future. I
learned how to manage my time better so that I can be successful.
Journal Entry 17- This helped me identify the obstacles that stand in the way of me and my success.
It also helped me realize all the resources I can rely on to help me overcome these challenges. With
these obstacles out of my way, there is nothing I can’t achieve.
4. My favorite week
My favorite week so far has been the final week because I am almost done with this semester.
Although I have really enjoyed this class, I am ready to be through with college so that I am one step
closer to reaching my goals. This class has taught me much about myself, and I am ready to use what I
have learned to help me become more successful.
5. Three lessons I will carry with me
I control how successful I will be.
Believe in yourself, and there is nothing you can’t do.
Do not give up on your goals when life gets tough. Stand firm and persevere!

to better manage my time so that I am spending
more time working on my future. I have also
discovered how many resources I have available
that I do not take advantage of. I have learned
that if I believe in myself, then there is nothing
that I can’t do.
7. My future!!!
One day I hope to be a physician. I hope to work in a
hospital, wear a white jacket, and have a stethoscope
around my neck. I want to help people feel better and
live a healthier life.
