Junior high school no.16 in Sosnowiec
Career needs to be cautiously planned. It is wortwhile to plan some targets and try to actively acquire them. Before that, it
is necessary to get to know factors influencing appropriate planning of the future. Those factors are: personality, interests,
abilities, talents and health.
Realising own abilities. Meeting the employer. First attempts in working. Creating an imaginary company: location,
creating the offer, task distribution.

Students know their advantages and disadvantages and take first attempts at working
Informing the students about the importance of their interests and predispositions in choosing a career.
Mastering skills, acquiring information about jobs and labor market. Searching connections between characteristics and
social roles.
Working in groups (created from student from the same class) and assigning specific roles.
'Projects' methode (students take responibility for their own tasks and plan the whole work)
Playing specfic roles (students act and simulate different toles)
Six Thinking Hats - class divided into six grups of different colors:
Managing Blue – what is the subject?
Information White – what are the facts?
Emotions Red – intuitive or instinctive gut reactions of emotional feeling
Discernment Black - practical, realistic.
Optimistic response Yellow – logic applied to identifying benefits, seeking harmony.
Creativity Green – statements of provocation and investigation
moderator guides the discussion.
