List the activities in the unit and the methodology developed in each one.
The project expands students' knowledge in the field of literature and history of the region, encourages them to the search
for new information as well as the creation of their own literary works. The tasks are focused on activities completely
involving the students. They analyze the diary, document information, perform tasks and summarize the work in relation
to reality.
The overriding motto of the project is to look for literary documents that testify to human experiences and tragedies:
- analyzing the situation at the time on the basis of entries in the "Diary"
- recreating the portrait of the appearance and character of the teenager.
Methodology used during the project;
- work using the project method- individual and group work (work on creating the posters,
- problem method (discussion, "brainstorming" in search, associations related to the selected topic),
- mutual learning.
Students:
- expand their knowledge of the language- cooperate in teams, use the method of design, drama, brainstorming,
- they form a letter, a poem, a poster, summarizing a given topic,
- work in teams, present the results of the work (multimedia presentations, exhibitions)
- they integrate thanks to joint activities,
- they learn how to make a compromise, solve the problems,
- they evaluate the project.
- introducing students to the subject of innovative teaching methods,
- familiarize students with the objectives of the project and tasks to be carried out,
- creating a project calendar with students, defining dates and people assigned to each task,
- division of students into groups according to interests and predispositions (including literature, art, computer science,
photography)
- searching for information concerning: definition of a diary, diary, political and historical situation in the Zagłębie region
during the World War II (1943)
- making art works, creating a letter, poems,
- arrangement of the visit to the theatre "Teatr Dzieci Zagłębia" to see the play "Memory of Rutka".

Meetings took place every two weeks, each of them lasted for 4 hours. (in addition, students continued their work
during classes according to the implementation of the basic material of the subject)
The project was carried out for two months - February / March. The time was sufficient.

The activities which turned out to be the most challenging and influential on students:
- creating works presenting the selected task in teams,
- gathering historical knowledge about the region based on the analysis of documents,
- a visit to the theatre,
- participation in the heroine's experiences,
- educational output - getting to know the hero's place of residence.
