Psychographics
the advert for the game will target the Emulator group as the game will
appeal to my target audience as the level system in the game will inspire
people to compete against each other to get to the highest level and to
impress their peers. The poster for the fake award ceremony would appeal to
the belonger group as they will be able to partake in a community based
activity which will be very appealing to them. The magazine will be for all
psychographic groups as it is not specific to any group as anyone will
recreational time can read the magazine.

Is there any repetition in the images you have collected? Repeated
colours/images styles/fonts/tone/mood
- I have used multiple images of Horizon Zero Dawn as the colours are very vibrant and will make the
magazine very eye catching and appealing, this will help the magazine become a success as more
customers will recognise it as it will stand out more.
- The mood gives a recreational viewing as the images style is fun and unrealistic as there are flying
robots in the game and will be displayed in the magazine, this will bring in more customers as there
are unique pictures to look at which you cant get in any other magazine.
- The fonts in the magazines are good as they're very big and bold so that customers know what
they're buying and they are easy to remember which would be good for publicity which would help
the magazine be more successful
- From the mood board I was able to see a pattern and that there is a super hero on the front of all
the magazines which connotes that the magazine is super which will appeal to my target audience
as young adults are fascinated by the character that people look up to.
- All images on my mood board symbolise the fantasy genre which would appeal to my target
audience as lots of the younger audiences like the fantasy genre this is known from previous
research that has been carried out in the past.
How will your mood board influence your final product?
- I will use some of the images from my mood board in my final product as the images represent
what the customer will face in the actual game, this gives the magazine visual content giving the,
magazine better content overall.
- Noticing the large bold titles and text have given me some ideas of how I'm going to structure the
magazine as my target audience are the same as the magazine cover’s target audience and their
magazine covers are filled with large text which is a good way to appeal to the customer.

7. Informal Proposal
Current Idea
Concept I will design an advert for a game which will then be part of a fake award ceremony
that will I make a poster for inviting people to go the ceremony and also write about
the ceremony, when the game is released and information about the game. The
game will be a medieval game designed how super Mario brothers was with the
character traveling along the screen.

Advert of the game: showing clips from the game and giving people an idea of what
the game will be like when it is released.
Poster: the poster will be for an Event/ Award ceremony for the new game
Magazine: informing people about the things that will be included in the game
What you will
need to make
them
I will need Photoshop so that I can design and create the poster for the event, make
the game’s advert and also I will need Photoshop for my magazine creation. I will
need Microsoft word so that I can make a draft of the text that I'm going to insert
into the magazine article to make sure there are no mistakes.
Audience My target audience will be 16-35 year old males with the social statues of E-C1. My
audience will be part of the Emulator group as computer games are normally
competitive so that will spur the group on to seem like an achiever to their peers.
The Geodemographic will be worldwide as the game is set in England but isn’t hard
to understand if the player is from a different country.

T-shirt merchandise As the game has not been released it would
be a waste to make merchandise as the
game could be failure and no one would buy
the merchandise loosing even more money.
Film cover The game could have been made into a
movie but then the main product (the
game) would not have as much attention or
one product would have been better than
the other and one would get no publicity
which wouldn’t decrease profit.
