This document proposes a gaming magazine called "xp gaming magazine" targeted towards men aged 16-30 from middle-class backgrounds interested in video games. Working Title: xp gaming magazine
Audience: my audience being men aged 16-30 around middle class of the pychographic
group of needs driven and the reason my product will appeal to this audience is that men
around the ages of 16-30 have a large amount interest in video games as video games are
highly directed towards a male audiance which is the theme of my product but also it is
cheap enough to afford for anyone in the middle class but also contains word and phrase
that make those who are in the need driven group want to act on instinct in wanting to by
the upcoming game the magazine is showing off but also in the front cover to make the
audience want to buy the magazine itself.
Rationale (approx. 100 words)
When it comes to what I have learnt over the year I have to say I’ve learnt how to incorporate images better
togetherbut also how to change the color of those images in a quick and efficient manner without having to
go over the whole image pixel by pixel and the way I am going to use these skills is to help me create a
believable gaming magazine and double page spread to go with it as I’ll incorporate some images I have and
combined them and use it as a base for and illustration for the front cover.
Project Concept (approx. 200 words)
The concept I have for my print rotation project is a gaming magazine, and what I’m going to make for that
game magazine that has the cover art for a new strategy game coming out and give some basic information
on what is going to be included in the magazine, and the research I am going to need to do for this aspect of
my project will be to look at existing front cover for gaming magazines and see what is included on them
and how they set out their information so my project we’ll feel as professional as possible, anotherthing I
will make for my game magazine concept is a double page spread for the magazine, in which it will include
on one page an interview with the lead game designerof the game and if space is available interviews with
other members of the development team, the otherpage giving basic information on the game and showing
concept art and stills from the game maybe even the basic premise of the story along with what to aspect
from the game and each faction the player can choose from and what to expect from building to combat
styles.
Evaluation (approx. 50 words)
I plan to evaluate my work during production and reflecting every so often to see if my work is going in the
direction I want it to or not is it up to my own personal standards and if I’m happy with it or not with this
helping me understand where I may need to improve on then after finishing doing the same for the final
evaluation on a large scale of review everything else like planning and research with it helping me see my
strength and weaknesses I need to improve on.
