2. I think the bright colours of my magazine attract the
audiences attention. They can catch your eye from far
away as they are quite bold and there is plenty of it. The
images will also get attention because there is a large
image in the centre of the front cover. If that was a
readers favourite artist, they would instantly become
more interested in the magazine and the aspects of it.
3. Most of my images address the reader by using direct
address. This makes them feel more apart of the stories
on the page. As there are quite a few images/article
adverts on the front page, this will attract the reader
because they will want to know what those stories are
about. Also they may become curious enough to buy it
and see what other stories are inside.
4. Putting a competition on the front page entices the
reader to buy the magazine for a chance to win.
Young audiences typically don’t earn much money,
therefore they are more likely to pay for something
with the opportunity to win something worth a lot
of money, especially luxury items like make up.
