1. Final Project Unit Plan: Day 2
A – Analyze Learners
I will be teaching 25 first graders about the 43 Presidents of the United State, their duties as
President, and the important symbols of our country.
S – Select Objectives
I want the students to learn about the rest of the 43 presidents and what it takes to become a
president of the U.S.
S – Select Methods, Media, and Materials
I will introduce the rest of the presidents by showing a YouTube video. Next, the students will
learn the President’s Song to the tune of the Ten Little Indians.
U – Utilize Media and Materials
As a class the students will create a podcast singing the President’s Song.
R – Require Learner Participation
Each student will know the President’s Song and be able to sing it. Also each student will pick a
President and create a blog using my blogger account writing a biography of their president’s life.
E – Evaluate and Revise
I will grade the students on how well they follow directions and organize their information on
their blog.
