Tuesday
Analyze learners: The class has a variety of learners. Several assignments will be used to help students
achieve a better understanding about the President of the United States. There are 15 students in the
class.
State objectives: Students will create a twitter account and will be assigned to follow Barack Obama.
Students will research 3 interesting tweets. Students will work in pairs and then create a powerpoint
that consists of the information found. Links and pictures must be provided as well.
Select methods, media and materials: Students will access twitter.com. Students will access powerpoint.
Computer lab time will be assigned for students.
Utilize Media and Materials: Students will learn about what they feel is interesting rather than having to
sit through a lecture. Students will enhance their internet ability while learning.
Require learner participation: Students will be placed into groups and each student will have to present
one slide of their groups assignment.
Evaluate and Revise: I will evaluate students by walking around the room and by taking notes on who
participated in the twitter research.
