3. AWARENESS SESSION FOR BUSINESS
DEVELOPMENT:
• The main responsibility of Business Development officer (BDOs) is to play a
catalyst role between market/potential entrepreneur and VTO trainees. BDOs
provide the information to VTO trainees about market and give information to
trainees about opportunities available in their surrounding areas and linked
the pass out certified trainees with market/potential entrepreneurs so that
they can increase the income through employment and business
establishment.
4. PREPARE INDIVIDUAL BUSINESS
PLAN AND GROUP FORMATION
ACTIVITY:
• To meet the goal of skill training of SPPAP-IRM VTO the Business
Development officer prepares the individual business plan of VTO trainee.
BDOs accomplish a meticulous secession with trainee so that trainee shares
their opinion regarding their future plan.
• Business plans activity organized individually and in groups and properly
guided the trainees regarding the outcomes of their businesses.
• Group formation activity organized and structure group of those trainee who
want to start exertion in form of group in their vicinity and lead them to meet
the market demand and guide them regarding the outcome of their business
to enhance their livelihood.
5. MARKET SURVEY/LINKAGES WITH
POTENTIAL ENTREPRENEUR:
• The survey of local and District level market has been conducted by Business
Development Officer (BDO). The intention was to find the employment of
trained pass-out certified VTO trainees and linked them with the
market/potential entrepreneur for their income generation by utilizing the
skills training. The Pass-out trainees will sell their model products in those
places. MOU has been signed with potential entrepreneurs and fascinated
organizations.

LINKAGES
• BDO must conduct commencement of business secession at start, during
and end of training.
• Prepare Business plan at start of 4th week of training.
• Develop group of those who willing to start work in form of group.
• Put in order model product in different VTO training centers according to
market demand.
• Invite entrepreneurs in office and display model product.
• Signed MOU with potential entrepreneurs.
• Organize exhibition for promotion of VTO trainee’s product.
