The artist has decided to challenge a common
convention and not put a picture of himself on the main
image. Instead he put an image of a building that is in his
hope town in Toronto this will allow him to create a more
personal touch to the digipak.
The album also does not feature any text, once again this
is the artist challenging a common convention.This may
have been done by the artist because he feels he is
famous enough not to include any text.

In this digipak the artists have decided to develop three
different conventions these are:

background, this allows audiences to know who’s
album it is which will increase the sales of the album
because the artist is extremely famous.
• The name of the artist is the most stand out text which
allows his audiences to know who’s album it is and
allows the artist to relate to his target audience.
• The name of the album is also on the front of the
digipak which may reflect how the artist was feeling at
the time the album was written.

The artist in this digipak has decided to develop three
different but common conventions these are:
• The artist has decided to challenge a common
convention here by making himself the main image,
he has made himself stand out by wearing dark
clothing onto a white background.
• The name of the artist stands out which allows
audiences to know whos album it is, this will allow the
artist to relate to his target audience and really reach
out to them.
• He has also decided to develop another common
convention by adding a name to the album which will
allow him to promote it.

• Here the artist has decided to develop a common
convention and has a consistent theme running
throughout the digipak.This allows her to relate to her
male audience as she has created a ‘sexy image of
herself but also the flowers and the red will relate to
her female target audience.

not stand out by the artist challenging this convention
she has allowed the image of herself to take center
stage.

The artist in this digipak has decided to develop three
different but common conventions these are:
• The artist has made himself the most stand our
feature of the digipak, this allows his target audience
to easily identify him as an artist.
• The text stands out from the other font as it is in
another colour, here the artist has decided to develop
a common convention of the digipak because it allows
a mass audience to easily establish who the artist is.
• The name of the album also stands out as it has been
put onto a white background with a white font.

The artist in this digipak has decided to develop three
different but common conventions these are:
• Here the artist has has followed a common
convention of a rape genre, by showcasing his jewelry,
this allows him to showcase his wealth to a mass
audience.
• The name of the artist also stands out from the black
background and this allows the artist to establish
himself and separate himself from other artists within
the genre.
• The artist name is also written in the same font as the
artists name which creates a clear branding among his
digipak and allows him to be easily recognized.
