5. After the first draft of my magazine I decided to change the
main image of the artist on the front cover. The long shot image
did not suit the cover of the magazine as I felt it did not connect
with the audience. It did not allow you to see the facial
expressions of the artist clearly not allowing the concept of the
magazine to make its way through to the audience. Within my
final product I changed the main image to a medium shot of the
artist. The image represented the artist folding his arms and
with a neutral facial expression. This was able to indicate the
theme of indie rock and allow the artists emotions to make him
look powerful and masculine.
