2. How does your
media product
represent particular
social groups?
I have posted my
magazine on Facebook to
see what response that I
would receive. These
comments are all from my
target audience. This is
important that I receive
feedback as this allows me
to be able to find areas to
improve on and the age
group.
The model of the front of magazine is a
young teenager this allows the target
audience to be able to relate. The front of
the magazine is bright and bold so it
would stand out. My model is seen as a
typical girly girl which are seen on
magazines such as ‘Top of the Pops'. This
allows it to relate to my target audience
by wearing fashionable bold colours
which stand out from the magazine. I
wanted my target audience to look at the
model as a role model rather than
someone they’d feel that wasn’t realistic.
The image is in the center of the page so
it is able to be seen clearly. Also the
image looks straight at the reader which
would intrigue the reader. I wear basic
colours to be drawn into the magazine
this allows the readers to attention
