some may consume this media to
divert their attention , and get away
from their day to day life problems.

so it reinforces its meaning.

identity
This is the double page spread of the
Q magazine. The main colour
scheme is red which has been used
throw-out the magazine.
The letter L , which is the artist
initials, are placed in the middle of the
article, and over the writing.
The bright letter L is placed over
the article to show its dominance
and its importance.
The black and white picture contrasts with the bright
red of the letter, suggesting a schism of her
personality: a more serious one which is highlighted
by the image and a more vibrant one suggested by
the luminous colour.

Long shot, we can see her fully, and we
can see her strong fashion scene also
replicated by the smaller images of her
at the top of the magazine taken from
different angles, showing off the dress.

contrasts with the main colour scheme
of the article.

The colour scheme is
concentrated around the white,
blue and black. The minimal
colour makes it look modern and
clear to understand.
