4. Throughout the process of making my magazine I have
progressed from the standard of my preliminary task to the final
production. By the time I created my final front cover I had
learned how to use lighting and had researched codes and
conventions of music magazines. My image now has more depth
due to the lighting and using a medium close up shot.
My contents page has also developed as I now have a lot more
text with a variety in size. I have a number of different images
which is more interesting that the one image used in my
preliminary task.
5. I also used what I had learned through the progression from
preliminary task to final production to create my double page
spread. I used a medium close up shot. The text I used was
varying in size and font to make it visually interesting which is
progressed from my preliminary task as it was all one font and
one colour and size.
8. The images I used in my final production are of a much better
quality than my preliminary task. I was able to use the lighting
and camera properly by this point so I could get a more
professional looking image rather than the unfocused plain
looking images I used for my preliminary task. I was also able to
use photoshop better so I could adjust the images to get the
exact look I wanted which is something I hadn’t learned when I
was constructing my preliminary task.
