1. Preliminary Contents PageLooking at the preliminary contents page in
comparison to my media products contents page
quite a bit of progression has been made. For
example in the preliminary product my text and font
are very varied and are too large in most places
whilst also being laid out badly so it does not look
professional. However, in my final music magazine
the text it is all the correct size so it doesn't
protrude on the page and in turn make the product
unprofessional. My use of colours has also vastly
improved as in this version the colour scheme does
not fit and is all one block however in my final
product the colour scheme fits not only my genre
but aswell fits the specification of my survey results
so i could appeal to my target audience in the best
way possible. Ive also used the gradient tool within
my final product to create a better look. The layout
of my music magazine has improved in comparison
to the preliminary task as it is more readable and
includes all the right information.

3. Front Cover And Double Page Spread
• After I got to grips with the software I was able to
drastically improve my work from the preliminary
task to my final piece. I used all skills stated
previously: Text formatting, picture sizing, layout
designs and image/colour manipulation to
enhance my work. For example on my
preliminary front cover did not have the date on
whereas my new one did. As well as that my
[previous double page spread did not feature the
page number however my music magazine dps
did.
