Commissioning Engineer – Responsibilities include Full technical responsibility for planning,
organizing, and conducting technical tasks on a broad range of Electrical engineering methods and
techniques in order to confirm Mechanical completion, pre-commissioning, and of the electrical
systems and sub-systems then performing the commissioning and forward reports to bring facility up
to a ready to start condition. This was required for multiple stations along the 290 KM of 42 inch
Pipeline. This was a short term commissioning assignment.

3. • PanCanadian Petroleum Ltd. - Consort Well Head Management System - Designed then
purchased all necessary equipment to remote control 40 Wellhead VFD’s via radio
communications. Programmed the Hub PLC and created all computer Graphics for the remote
control.
• Novagas Canada Ltd. - Electrical Design for nine RTU facilities. These RTU facilities included,
block valve sites, meter station sites, and a liquids storage facility.
• PanCanadian Petroleum Ltd. – Upgraded a 425 kW Induction Generator to sell power to the
pool.
• PanCanadian Petroleum Ltd. – Designed and specified 500 kW and 750 kW Induction
Generators for bulk purchase, these units were to be used for selling power back to the Alberta
grid.
• Conoco. – Installation of Nine Induction Generators - 150 – 275 kW, in the Red Earth area, these
were to burn flare gas and generator power to the Alberta grid.
• EnCana – Upgraded 5 kV switchgear and two motors from 2000 hp to 2700 hp for
debottlenecking of gas compressor.

• Programmed on Allen-Bradley PLC 5/30 to apply field excitation to a 9000 hp synchronous
motor, to perform back up shutdowns, to monitor many electrical dynamic variables via
communications to a Multilin 269+ protective relay.
• Designed and drafted all drawings for field and manufacturing of a generator control panel for
two 2.5 MW diesel generators.
• Successfully tested a new Allen-Bradley Line Synchronisation Module (prototype) at SAIT.
