Execution Planning Lead Electrical Engineer – West Qurna 1 Project in IRAQ:
Responsible for overseeing engineering contractors for detailed engineering, procurement and
construction. Design include replacing existing 132KV National Grid power with new 11KV
power generation using 4 x 13.6 MW Solar Turbine Titan 130 generators, Connecting all
degassing stations power via 33KV overhead distribution lines. Identify all electrical interface
points of major tie-ins with different units within the degassing stations.
Project Lead Electrical Engineer – Point Thomson Project to develop gas condensate field
in Alaska North Slope: Responsible for overseeing Worley Parsons/Fluor in CA for facilities
FEED/detailed engineering, procurement and construction. Design includes facilities 13.8KV,
4x7MW Solar Turbine Taurus-70 and 13.8KV 3x1.8MW Standby Power Generation,
Distribution and Protection; PMS / PCS interface with power generation modules and

Overseeing projects during feed process and detail design for deliverables, design of power
system to meet the total electrical power requirements for FPSO and Rigs and the main
generators are sized with a sufficient capacity of power to meet all normal operating loads.
Established the requirements for design deliverables relating to Electrical Engineering, monitor
progress of the development of electrical design deliverables and propose corrective actions in
the event of potential schedule overrun.

Engineering Dept: Responsible for leading maintenance engineering department in all on going
plant improvement projects. Developed and evaluated power studies for all the units in the plant.
Upgraded 138KV – 12.47KV main substation transformers capacity from 12 MVA to 22.4
MVA. Installed capacitor banks and reactor bank on 12.47KV line to improve power factor and
reduce harmonics. Designed and executed capital projects for Polymer modifiers manufacturing
plant. Developed cost estimate for capital approval. Co-coordinated and supported construction
and installation of electrical equipment, instruments & control systems in the plant. Installed new
