ExxonMobil, Houston, Texas:
Execution Planning Lead Electrical Engineer – West Qurna 1 Project in IRAQ:
Responsible for overseeing engineering contractors for detailed engineering, procurement and
construction. Design include replacing existing 132KV National Grid power with new 11KV
power generation using 4 x 13.6 MW Solar Turbine Titan 130 generators, Connecting all
degassing stations power via 33KV overhead distribution lines. Identify all electrical interface
points of major tie-ins with different units within the degassing stations.
Project Lead Electrical Engineer – Point Thomson Project to develop gas condensate field
in Alaska North Slope: Responsible for overseeing Worley Parsons/Fluor in CA for facilities
FEED/detailed engineering, procurement and construction. Design includes facilities 13.8KV,
4x7MW Solar Turbine Taurus-70 and 13.8KV 3x1.8MW Standby Power Generation,
Distribution and Protection; PMS / PCS interface with power generation modules and
13.8KV/4.16KV SWGRs modules for plant operations, Integration of PMS/PCS/Compressor
control panel with Autotransformer Control Cabinet for starting injection compressors

all major electrical & control equipment including Wartsila 4 x 4150KW Diesel Generators,

VFDs, PMS and VMS. Performed FAT on all major electrical equipment. Run ETAP (version

including all E/I installation, integration of PMS/FGDS/VMS to Kongsberg IAS.
SBM Offshore, Houston, TX: Principal Engineer - Electrical: Semi-Submersible DPS2
Drilling Rigs, TLWP Drilling systems and FPSO Projects
Overseeing projects during feed process and detail design for deliverables, design of power
system to meet the total electrical power requirements for FPSO and Rigs and the main
generators are sized with a sufficient capacity of power to meet all normal operating loads.
Established the requirements for design deliverables relating to Electrical Engineering, monitor
progress of the development of electrical design deliverables and propose corrective actions in
the event of potential schedule overrun.
Responsible for MV and LV Power Generation & Distribution systems design, Electrical load
calculations & selection of Generators, SWGR, Power Transformers, VFD & MCCs, Drilling
equipment and PMS including sizing & selecting of battery chargers and UPS systems for all
critical loads, Electrical equipment specifications & data sheets for IEC/ANSI offshore
application projects, Design & layout termination details of MV/LV Generators / SWGR, MCCs,

Pioneer, Devon, Petrotech, Dana Gas-Khor Mor LPG Recovery Plant in Kurdistan in Iraq, Long
Point Offshore Production Facility for El Paso Production Oil & Gas Co. and Offshore
Production Facility for BPZ Energy in Peru.
Responsibilities included overall design & layout of MV/LV power generation, distribution &
protection. Design/layout 20 MVA/23.4 KV power feed run from FPSO to remote central
platform via submersible power cables.
Performed load analysis to select overall platforms power requirements and written all major
electrical equipment specifications. Responsible key one line diagram, motor schematics and
panel drawings. Performed vendor bid evaluation and selected vendors. Issued requisition for

Kaneka Texas Corporation, Pasadena, TX. Lead E & I Engineer in the Maintenance
Engineering Dept: Responsible for leading maintenance engineering department in all on going
plant improvement projects. Developed and evaluated power studies for all the units in the plant.
Upgraded 138KV – 12.47KV main substation transformers capacity from 12 MVA to 22.4
MVA. Installed capacitor banks and reactor bank on 12.47KV line to improve power factor and
reduce harmonics. Designed and executed capital projects for Polymer modifiers manufacturing
plant. Developed cost estimate for capital approval. Co-coordinated and supported construction
and installation of electrical equipment, instruments & control systems in the plant. Installed new
12.47KV SWGR in the main substation and provided 12MVA power to the new plant.
Developed Safety Integrity Level (SIL) for the plant and introduced new safety instrumented

Responsible for reviewing contractor’s engineering design work included P&ID’s development,
data sheet specifications for field instrumentation (control valves, pressure relief valves, MOV’s,
flow/level/temperature/pressure instruments), PLC and DCS configuration, I/O loop and
termination details.
Responsible reviewing all drawings and submittals for upgrading 13.8 KV SWGR in the main
substation and interconnection diagrams. Run underground power cables to MV motors in the
field. Approved electrical and instrumentation design packages for construction. Reviewed
