• Anchoring preventive, predictive and breakdown testing of cables, transformer, switchgear, motors and battery of plant

2. Installation & Commissioning
• Responsible for installation and commissioning of the heavy equipment; conducting tests & inspections to ensure
operational effectiveness of plant & utilities
• Reviewing engineering drawings, layouts, diagrams, technical specifications, cost estimates for erection & commissioning of
the plant; carrying out overhauling work of equipment, modifications and major repairs to improve equipment efficiency by
fault-finding
MAINTENANCE PURVIEW

o AC motors up to 600 KW
o Thermal power plant - coal based 26.2 MW (2*11 MW & 4.2 MW) capacity
o 66KV/33KV Switchyard, 33KV/11KV/6.6KV switchgear, Transformer with OLTC up to 5 MVA along with PCC, MCC, ESP &
APFC panels. Sound knowledge of O&M of Chillers, Compressors, Boilers
o 4*90TPH AFBC & 125 TPH CFBC Boiler & It's Control Panel with DCS System
• Control circuit and interlocking, power input and distribution in plant, erection and commissioning
• O&M of 1050/400/160 AH Battery bank & Battery charge

troubleshooting & parallel operation between Diesel Generator sets of different capacity

M/s. RSPL Ltd. (GHARI DETERGENT GROUP) is a North India based reputed Company and is in the business
of Detergent, Soaps, Leather Products and Milk Products. RSPL Limited is planning to set-up a Greenfield
Soda Ash project (Capacity: Light Soda Ash: 1500 TPD and Dense Soda Ash: 770 TPD) along with
coal/lignite based Captive Power Plant (50 MW) and Emergency DG Set (6 MW) project at Village Kuranga,dist. Jamnagar,
Gujarat.
Highlights:
• Defining the Electrical requirements for major plant packages like-Raw Material Handling, Stacker & Reclaimer, Lime Kiln,
Lime Grinding, Calciner, Hydrator, Product Bagging and Storage, Fire Detection System, RO/DM Plant, Boiler & Auxiliaries,
Turbine & auxiliaries, CO2 Compressor, Air Compressor with Dryer, Chiller, Ammonia storage and handling etc.
• HAZOP Study with Engineering Consultant and review / implementation of the recommendation during the project execution
• Review of Enquiry Documents / Engineering Documents prepared by engineering consultant
• Preparation and finalization of Sub Vendors with Engineering Consultant
• Review of the technical offers from the bidders for the package items and resolving comments/queries with the engineering
consultant for further actions
• Finalizing the scope matrix between Vendors, Contractors, Purchaser and engineering consultant
• Review and finalization of Electrical items for the entire project like HVSB/IMCC, EMS, and Transformer etc.
• Updating of overall project schedule according to the project status as an input to the Project Planning and Scheduling

Since Feb’12 to Mar’15 Octal Petrochemicals SAOC-Oman Senior Electrical Engineer
An USA origin ISO 9001:2008 & ISO 14001 certified company involved in manufacturing Petrochemical
products like – PET chips & sheets with total production capacity of 2250 TPD.
Highlights:
• Commissioned 2x720 TPD PET manufacturing plant
• Carried out testing and commissioning of Generator, Transformers, 33KV GIS Sub-Station, VFDs, UPS and PCCs.
• Implemented SAP maintenance module
• Worked on MRP integration in SAP

3. • Flagged the genuine design/workmanship problems to the vendors and got corrective actions and modifications done at
vendors cost
• Operations and maintenance of electrical installations for 2x720 TPD PET resin manufacturing facility
• Commissioned ABB 33 KV GIS sub-Station, Transformers, PCCs, MCCs, VFDs & UPS
