ACHIEVEMENTS:
 Singly handedly led the electrical commissioning of 480 MW plant in short span of 6 months
which was declared as super-fast project (Project duration was 8 months from the day of issuing
letter of intent to last GT synchronization).
 132kV substation was commissioned in just 20 days in order to bring 600 MW on grid to meet
the summer demand in Saudi Arabia as project acceleration.
 12 GTs were synchronised in just 10 days with commissioning of 380kV protection for
transformers,cable and generators to meet the summer demand in Saudi Arabia.
 Responsible head for commissioning of all electrical systems related to 40 GTs including LV and
HV systems in just span of two years.
 Handled two projects(1200MW+1600MW) simultaneously as an electrical commissioning head.

Project: EPIC for Power Supply Project through Submarine Cable from Ras Laffan to
Halul Island in Qatar. EPIC contract awarded by Qatar Petroleum.
Description: Project comprises manufacture and laying of 2 No. 132kV 3 core submarine
cables (each 100km) and the construction of a 132/34.5kV substation in island.
Designation: Commissioning Manager.
Roles and Responsibility:
Managing and coordinating all aspects pertaining to the testing and
commissioning Electrical, Mechanical and Instrumentation of the 132kV
submarine power cable and Substation.
Reviewing engineering submittals, operation philosophy, system studies, design
calculation, specification, data sheets,SLDs and CPM, schematics etc.
Reviewing test and commissioning procedures, ITPs,FAT procedure and method

steam turbine (Alstom) 360 MW each with 8 HSRGs and BOP, gas compressors
and motors of 11.6MW ,water bath heaters and 380kV substation (breaker and a
half scheme).
Duration: May 2014 to April 2015

just 10 days with commissioning of transformers and cable protection.

using super grid transformers and GIB in order to reduce short circuit level.

Roles and Responsibility:
In charge for complete testing and commissioning of 132kV substation and link
between 132kV and 380kV substations (that is for Block C and D) equipment’s
like 132kV GIS, control and protection, super grid Transformers and 380kV GIB.

In charge for warranty maintenance of power plant

ACHIEVEMENTS:  Singly handedly led the electrical commissioning of 480 MW plant in short span of 6 months which was declared as super-fast project (Project duration was 8 months from the day of issuing letter of intent to last GT synchronization).  132kV substation was commissioned in just 20 days in order to bring 600 MW on grid to meet the summer demand in Saudi Arabia as project acceleration.  12 GTs were synchronised in just 10 days with commissioning of 380kV protection for transformers,cable and generators to meet the summer demand in Saudi Arabia.  Responsible head for commissioning of all electrical systems related to 40 GTs including LV and HV systems in just span of two years.  Handled two projects(1200MW+1600MW) simultaneously as an electrical commissioning head. Duration Jan, 2008 to Oct, 2009 Designation Electrical Commissioning Manager Roles and Responsibility: Design review for control, protection and interlock schemes and power system for 480V, 4.16kV, 13.8kV and 380kV systems Preparation of startup plan, project schedule (T&C),Scope of work, testing and commissioning procedure Preparation of inter trip, interlock, stability, synchronization and back feed protocols. Duration May 2007 to Dec 2007 Designation: Electrical Commissioning Manager. Roles and Responsibility: In charge for complete testing and commissioning of 132kV substation and link between 132kV and 380kV substations (that is for Block C and D) equipment’s like 132kV GIS, control and protection, super grid Transformers and 380kV GIB. In charge for testing and commissioning of DCS and AGC-SCADA of power plant In charge for warranty maintenance of power plant Participating in first time energization of generator Transformer and super grid transformer feeders from the grid in coordination with ECC. Project: AL Aweer-Phase-2 Gas turbine Project. A project owned by DEWA (Consortium with Siemens)-450MW Description: Project is consisting of 3 Gas Turbine (Siemens) each one is about 136MW.
