 Supervision of erection works of 11kV transmission lines of single/ double circuit. (Totally length
of lines erected are 15Km approximately).
 Erection commissioning and testing of CSS (compact secondary substations) of range 0.315 to
1MVA. ABB make (Totally erected 15 Substations)
 Erection commissioning and testing of silent diesel generator sets of Jacksons make. Range
varied from 0.05 to 1.010 MVA. (Totally erected 12 DG sets)
 Arrangement of proper earthing for installed substations of both temporary and permanent
types. Chemical earthing is also used at rocky areas.
 Erection of LT switchgear panels for LT power distribution to various loads from substations
along with backup power schemes.
 Laying of HT/LT cables of sizes ranging from 10 to 400sqmm of both armoured and unarmoured
type multicore power cables in cable trays, cable trenches and underground cabling. Also laid 40
core control cables jelly filled and armoured for instrumentation purposes. (Total 25Km of cable
was laid approximately under my supervision).
 Erection of 11kV SF6 Circuit breakers RMU of ABB make for protection of 11kV circuits and for
breaking point in the circuits. (Totally Installed 5 VCB panels).
 Installation of LT breaker panels of 1600 Amp, LT changeover switches of range up to 1600 Amp
and LT distribution panels at sub-stations for backup power arrangements of over all project
sites. (Totally installed up to 80 panels)
 Planning the work schedule for the successive day and deployment of man power at various
sites regularly. (Handled 40 electricians and 15 Engineers).
 Coordinating and executing all the E&M works going on at all sites which were under the radius

4. of 6Kms from dam to power house.
 Planning and preparation of estimate for the work and executing them at site after getting
necessary approvals from GM/Director. Preparation of bills for works executed at sites. (Totally
prepared 300 bills approximately).
 Preparation of UPCL bills and UPCL liaison works. Coordination with UPCL line man and JE/AE
during 11kV line faults for shutdowns. (Handled the job for 3 Years).
 Preparation of grid/DG debit notes of the power provided to different contractors engaged at
site. (Prepared 100 debit notes till date)
 Maintenance of records which includes all substations data, diesel filling records of DG sets,
maintenance etc.
 Procurement of all operation and maintenance materials, tools, safety equipments in time to
prevent work delay and coordinating with store people and inspection of the same after
received at site. (Totally raised 4000 purchase requisitions till date).
 Installation of vibrating wire type instruments at dam site and collection of the readings of the
same.
 Operation and maintenance of 400kV switchyard, 400kV transmission line which includes SF6
circuit breakers, isolators, CVT’s, CT’s, and collection of data like hourly generation, daily
generation report and total power transmitted. Coordination with SLDC Lucknow people and
grid people during line and unit shutdown and relays monitoring. (Since last six months looking
after switch yard as additional responsibility)
Contributions:
 Successfully executed all detailed planning of E&M work in coordination with GM / Manager
(projects).
 Successfully erected tested and operated eight sub stations of 1MVA and handled 8MVA
construction power.
 Successfully looked after O&M works of 400kV switchyard and coordinated with SLDC Lucknow
and NRLDC Delhi during line/Unit shutdown.
